“What I chose from the very limited menu selections was good and not too pricey. Wish the menu really had more Mediterranean foods and was more expansive. I've not seen such a limited menu anywhere else here in McMinnville. I suggest you heck the menu and ask about specials before you go.“

“Out of all of the wineries we visited and sampled during the International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC), this was hands down my wife and I's favorite. Terrific wines at a reasonable price that are not released until they are ready to drink. One of the current release Pinots was made 8 years ago. Releasing this late is unheard of outside of Spain. Also, a terrific family owns and runs the estate.“

“Two dogs is a great addition to downtown McMinville. It has a rich selection of foods from salads, hot sandwiches, sliders, and burgers. It is on the pricey end, but I equate it to a more affordable option than a pelican pub. It has a very impressive selection of locally brewed taps throughout Oregon, that are very very good, selections of beer, hard seltzers and ciders that are sure to impress the palate. A criticism I have is that the burgers tend to be on the greasy side, they are rich in flavor, but all the burgers come with two 1/4 pound Pattie’s, which I would suggest to only have one patty with the option to add an addition for more money. I would recommend this place to more people if they made that change and made there prices reflect that change. The burgers are over the top in grease.“

“We ended our day at the vineyard. Beautiful grounds for a walk and stretch before sitting out on the deck and tasting. The flight was just awesome. Starting with a wonderful Pinot Blanc. Followed by dryer and darker sampling. The Tall Poppy is excellent and well worth the visit. We had a charcuterie board, and I, as designated driver, enjoyed a sparkling mineral water. Staff was very friendly.“

“This is country French cuisine. Plentiful and delicious. They take the comfort food preparation very seriously but true to Oregon, you can show in your Sunday best or jeans and feel comfortable. We celebrate We drive from Hillsboro a few times a year. The staff always warm and friendly. Just go, and make it a special drive date.“

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

“So, we are small business owners from out of the area and were putting on a training class all day in McMinnville. My gf said I needed to take her out to dinner as we didn’t have kids with us and we could play adult for once. We found 1882 and decided to give it a try, and I gotta tell ya it was the absolute best experience ever! We are kinda foodies and have eaten many different places and this was definitely at the top. We started out downstairs and decided to eat upstairs..Macy was our hostess and seated us immediately, from there it was a great conversation about her recommendations. Shortly thereafter we met Cindy, the customer service guru and we proceeded to discuss business, the restaurant and her experience with the company..she literally took over 10min to talk with us as Macy continued to check in before Cindy moved on to the next table and customers. At no time did we ever have to ask, and I didn’t see any other guests near us have to either, for assistance or about their order, it was running smoothly. And our hostess of only 21 definitely acted more mature than her age!! We met Mo, the owner, and got to learn her story with the business and share different experiences we had seen at other restaurants. Suffice to say it was an absolute amazing evening and will definitely be back again!“

“I had the cowboy philly, it was so good, I couldn't stop feeling about it the whole time, lots of meat, lots of cheese, lots of peppers and with the Cajun fries and coleslaw..???it was so good I actually drooled into my lap. Brooke was very tentative and quick, Josie and Blaine were on the team as well. The kitchen staff really killed it with our food! Can't wait to tell all my friends to come here!“

“This is a historic hotel with the McMeninamins flair. The location is perfect, right in downtown McMinnville. As with any McMeninamins property, the restoration includes amazing artwork, lots of references to the history of the property and area, and McMeninamins memorabilia. The rooms have a lot of charming qualities, but this is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are small by current standards and missing things like a TV. The hotel has several restaurants and bars including a fantastic rooftop bar. It's a fun and unique experience that we really enjoyed.

“50's diner type style. Ate the 1/4 burger minus sweet relish. crinkle fries and their fry sauce. Tasted home-made, so full didn't have room for the ice cream they make onsight. We will go again, friendly staff. You can tell locals go here, popular place.“
