“Wow, such wonderful Pinot Noir. We fell in love with the Elk Cove Pinot we stumbled upon while at Albertsons and had to try the wines at the vineyard. We were not disappointed.

“We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Knudsen Vineyard in Willamette Valley. The vineyard is beautiful with stunning views (even in the rain today!), but what really made our visit was our host, Jeff.
Jeff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each wine and share more about the vineyard and winemaking process in a way that felt engaging and relaxed.
We visited with our children and really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the atmosphere was for families too.
The wines were excellent and the whole experience felt personal and memorable. We’d highly recommend a visit and would definitely return next time we’re in the area.“

While the wines were excellent as was the setting, what really made it an experience to remember was the hospitality we received from Alice. Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“

“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here. Robin (our wine tasting guide) did an excellent job of explaining all of the wines to us and was so much fun chatting with. She really knew the wines and how they were grown and did a wonderful job of explaining everything. We ended up leaving the tasting room with more wines to take home than we expected. “Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“

Heaters outside, so you can sit out and enjoy the views. It's kinda remote, which lends to the charm. Highly recommend.“

“We were lucky to have a wonderful back of house office/marketing person who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather help us. The food was delicious, beets with strawberries and goat
Cheese and pink peppercorns and wonderful spring pea hummus and a great olive oil tasting. Wine selection was good and they also have a nature trail good to walk pups and me, after all the food.
My husband discovered an additional bakery cafe in the back and left with some wonderful shortbread type cookies, one lemon with lavender, I think, and one dipped in chocolate, and some sea salt caramel brownies. All delicious and also very pretty cozy place!“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“We visited Sokol Blosser in June 2026. This was our first visit to Willamette Valley so wanted to visit iconic wineries with history to learn about the wines. We are in the industry (Napa Valley) so really appreciated the incredibly knowledgeable information provided by Isaac. “We recently visited Ken Wright Cellars for a wine tasting and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. Our host, Sidney, struck the perfect balance between education and hospitality. She spent just the right amount of time with us, providing excellent insight into the winemaking process while also allowing us plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other's company.

Our favorite wine of the tasting was the Willamette Valley Chardonnay, which was absolutely outstanding. We also ordered a charcuterie board that complemented the wines beautifully, with a well-balanced selection of cheeses, crackers, nuts, and olives.

One of the things that impressed us most about Ken Wright Cellars was the variety of wine club membership options available. The flexibility and benefits made it easy to find a membership that fit our interests. “First stop in the wine country of Willamette Valley since arriving from Florida to taste the best Pinot Noirs was Torii Mor Winery. A little off the beaten path but what fabulous wines! The wine maker Jon was there which made this visit extra special, as we heard what care they put into producing these gems. So excited about bringing bottles home with us, to savor later. “Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

“Must start with full disclosure--my wife, Sunshine and I have never been there--BUT, having just completed an AMA waterways wine cruise in France we met wonderful people from Stoller, including Gary Mortensen who presented wine tasting of their excellent wines and enthusiastic, humorous lectures. We sampled many great French wines on this cruise, but none topped the Stoller chardonnays we tasted. The Stoller Family Estate is definitely on our "bucket list". We also met Bill Stoller's lovely sister, Nancy. We tasted a wine Bill named after her and it was to die for! Thanks Stoller for sending your lively group on our cruise.
