“You would think by living in a small town miles away from Starbucks or Dutch Bro's that you'd save money on coffee but NOPE. Not with coffee this good in town Drinking an iced Carmel Macchiato right now and I'm on Cloud 9. Beats Starbucks burnt espresso taste any day! Plus the ladies there are always so friendly :)“

“I'm a new club member because we really like the wines, the view and tasting room are beautiful, they allow outside food, they allow dogs, and it's close to home. However, when we brought out-of-town guests recently, we all were appalled at the lack of service. There were only two other small parties tasting, and our server unceremoniously deposited the tasting notes and carafes on our table, told us to "taste clockwise from the white," and never spoke to us again. We had to listen as he explained the wines to another table; we felt like chopped liver. There wasn't even any thoughtful communication when I paid for our purchases. I wonder if all club members are treated this way. . .“

Sidereus Vineyard & Winery Winery • $$

“My friend and I went here in February for the Valentine’s Wonderer card. Upon arriving, the building is lovely, and when you enter the fabulous energy that seeps into your being makes you feel so good and happy. I've never experienced that before. They have seating inside as well as seating on the balcony outside. The gentleman that seated us (outside, as it was a gorgeous sunny day) was just fabulous! The view was spectacular! Trees framing the view of a snow-covered Mt Hood and the vineyard below (of course, the vines were bare, but I'm sure come sping/summer that will just add to this gorgeous view). We started with the Chardonay, which was light with a hint of butteriness and a crisp after taste. It was very good. The next was their Pinot Gris, and let me just say it's sunshine in a bottle! The next 3 tastes were Pinot Noirs, and I admit I'm not one that goes for Pinot Noirs. Boy, did they prove me wrong! I love all 3. The first one was light, mildly fruity, with a hint of sweetness to finish (this was my favorite). This one came from their vines. The second one was sorced from Washington grapes, the taste was bolder, more of the traditional Pinot Noir flavors, but very good. The last was the most bold and was absolutely delightful! The cost is justified, but I'm on a very limited budget. The last was the Cabernet Sauvignon, and though again I'm not big on Sauvignons, it was one of the best I've had!I came home with the Pinot Gris and the 1st Pinot Noir. Yum!!! My friend and I agree we will be visiting this winery a lot! I highly recommend them! Cheers!“

“This winery makes the best Pinot in Oregon. Absolutely incredibly smooth and all is estate grown. They’re next door to Domaine Serene. My wife and I visited in August and became wine club members. If you’re touring the Dundee Hills this is a “must visit” winery. You can’t get their wine anywhere, except the winery. Family owned and genuinely great people.“

“A Gem in Carlton: Flaneur WineryFrom the moment you step into Flaneur Winery's tasting room in Carlton, Oregon, you're not just entering a winery; you're embarking on a multifaceted wine experience that transcends the ordinary. As a wine club member for over a year, I've had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand the unique offerings that set Flaneur apart in the rich tapestry of Willamette Valley's wine scene.Flaneur doesn't just serve wine; they curate experiences. From the carefully crafted wine maker's dinners that showcase the versatility and depth of their vintages, to the engaging and unexpected events like Taro Card readings, there's always something new and exciting to look forward to. These gatherings are not just about wine; they're about building community, sharing stories, and creating unforgettable moments. The heart and soul of Flaneur, however, is its people. The staff's passion for wine and genuine hospitality is palpable, with Mindy herself leading by example. Always positive and upbeat, Mindy ensures every visit is memorable, even during the quieter seasons when the valley slows down. This level of personal touch and warmth makes Flaneur not just a winery, but a home away from home for wine lovers. The wines themselves are exceptional, embodying the richness and diversity of Oregon's terroir. Each bottle tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and a deep respect for nature, qualities that resonate deeply with those who appreciate fine wine. It's this unwavering commitment to quality that makes Flaneur not only one of my top-rated wineries but also a frequent recommendation to my clients. In conclusion, Flaneur Winery is more than just a destination; it's an experience, a community, and a testament to the beauty of Oregon wine. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or new to the world of wine, Flaneur welcomes you with open arms and a glass ready to be filled with something truly special. “Had a delightful experience with our tasting reservation and enjoyed the tour provided by Sebastian, one of the resident felines. We appreciated how Sokol Blosser's tasting room is set up so that most tables have a view to the well landscaped area around the building and don't leave you feeling like you're sitting on top of other patrons. While walking around outside and checking out the landscaping, I could see the plants chosen would provide a nice display as often as nature allows during the different seasons.“
