“Had their b.l.t. can't improve upon perfection. It was the perfect bite from start to finish. It was one of those days filling others orders, I'm tired, hungry not really wanting to cook. Service was very prompt, I almost had to wait in line, speed of service was an A+. The server 6530 spoke gently to me, and displayed a genuine interest in what I wanted and didn't want on it. The bacon was perfectly prepared, not over or undercooked, and just the ideal crispy. He really had me as a captive audience, as I watched utterly spell bound as it was created. “Enjoyed Oak Knoll very much as a great family place and bring your own picnic. Their wines were very good, loved the Riesling....too easy to drink.... and the white Pinot was good and dry, again easy to drink. Certainly will bring friends here for a relaxed fun atmosphere. They have been making Oregon wine for a long time. We did both Blizzard and Oak Knoll and loved both, even though both very different. Guess that is the beauty of Oregon.“

“I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. The staff was super friendly, as was Steve, the owner. We bought some amazing wine and just really enjoyed our afternoon.“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“We had a late lunch around 2pm here on a Saturday after fishing near Hagg lake. We had a party of 9 and had a party room available that could fit us all together at one table. We appreciated being able to be seated together. They do charge a tip/service charge of 18% to use the room. We tried the chicken teriyaki don, katsu don, beef don, and salmon teriyaki don,oyakodon, as well as a salmon avocado roll. Everything was presented nicely and tasty. The dons included a small dish of soy based green beans. The one drawback was the kitchen was a little on the slow side, perhaps due to the time (2pm) we were being served.“

“First & foremost, the customer service here is world class. The kind lady at the front taking orders answered all of my many questions about what was vegan & did not look annoyed even after several followup questions. While the restaurant has a vegetarian section, it does not label vegan options clearly. But they are more than happy to let you know what is vegan if you ask. Just make sure to specify you are vegan & provide a quick explanation of how vegan is different than vegetarian. They use vegetable oil to cook food. If you also have an issue with MSG like I do, your only option will likely be the tofu plate, which is what I got. It was great & had a lot more flavor than I anticipated. Will absolutely be getting it again in the future! If you are just vegan, here's the options: - tofu plate (pan fried tofu, white rice, & steamed broccoli, carrots, & cabbage) - tofu yakisoba - vegetable yakisoba - hot & spicy tofu - hot & spicy vegetable - tofu fried rice (not on menu, but it is available) - tofu fried rice - steamed vegetables & rice NOTE: the tofu katsu is NOT vegan“
