12 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants Amity

Brooks Wine Wineries • $$
21101 SE Cherry Blossom Ln, Amity

“Went there because of Meltdown (Willamette Valley "grilled cheese" highlight.) They had a Pastrami Melt, which came with sweet potato fries. Didn't realize the history, and had a great mid-aged gentleman (missed his name, but he was great and relatively new). This is the place to go if you like Rieslings. Got to meet Hannah (TR manager), who had great energy and could tell she had the mostly younger staff going. Only complaint was that the kitchen was a bit slow, taking about 20 minutes to get food out. Energetic tasting room that is a bit loud when they don't have ability to have people outside, but very loyal customers.“

Coelho Winery Wine Bar • $$
111 5th St, Amity

“Had a great time at this unique winery that focuses on Portugues varietals. Luke was fun and knowledgeable. Also got to speak with the winemaker Chris, who really knows his stuff and does some fun options/variations of wine with the same grape. One of the few places I know in the Amity/McMinnville or even the Willamette Valley in general, that have a variety of port style wines, including some 10 year and older. They also do a white port style that isn't over done, and something you don't usually find. Would look for when they have special events, as their space and some events they talked about, sound entertaining and where you can really learn about wine making.“

“Very cute little homey place with an open bar around the kitchen and excellent menu items. I had the warrior waffle which was savory. My sister had the Elvis, which was sweet. That way we each had a bite of the other and were able to share.I didn’t think one waffle would fill me up, but it certainly did! Highly recommend coming out here to visit this cute little place and have a bite to eat, a cuppa coffee, or a chai. They also serve lunch as well.“

“Just visited Sun Break winery which is inside Bjorson. Pinots, other wines & **vermouth**--2 types. Really flavorful & yummy. Spent time with David who was knowledgeable & very friendly. Then we blended barrel samples, something I've never done. Fascinating! Excellent wines at most reasonable prices. Highly recommend. (Then went to dinner at Cozy Taberna-top-notch.)“

Stangeland Vineyards & Winery Wineries •
8500 Hopewell Rd NW, Salem - 7.15 miles

“We stumbled on Strangeland Vineyard and tasting room on a drive from Corvallis to McMinnville. Initially, we drove by then flipped a U-turn and went back - so happy we did. They were one of only a few tasting rooms open on a Wednesday. Driving up the driveway - we were surprised to find a beautiful garden with outdoor seating and an awesome view. Our wine tasting did not disappoint. We were offered various wines to sample all were very good - the Pinot Noir’s were delicious and we purchased a couple of bottles of the 2018. If you’re in the area - stop by and visit these fine folks.“

“This winery makes the best Pinot in Oregon. Absolutely incredibly smooth and all is estate grown. They’re next door to Domaine Serene. My wife and I visited in August and became wine club members. If you’re touring the Dundee Hills this is a “must visit” winery. You can’t get their wine anywhere, except the winery. Family owned and genuinely great people.“

Cristom Vineyards Wineries • $$
6905 Spring Valley Rd NW, Salem - 7.03 miles

“Cristom had a bit of a shipping mix up on their end. It caused a little bit of a hiccup for me but they were quick to rectify the situation - which is the most important aspect of customer service. Issues happen but the key is what do organizations do when they happen. They came through.“

Johan Vineyards Wineries • $$
4285 N Pacific Hwy W, Rickreall - 7.53 miles

“On our first visit to Johan we were greeted by Max and Kyle with warm hospitality, knowledge of the wine and of the land, but it was their authentic excitement and joy for the wines that told us right away: this place is different. In the land of top notch wine, it's hard to stand out. That's why I was surprised by the emotions I felt after the first sip. It wasn't just my taste buds, but my soul that was happy. The love and care that went into making the wine was very evident, in a way that I haven't experienced.Even though we live in Eugene, my wife and I decided on the spot to sign up for the wine club. The wine is extraordinary. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly and unpretentious - everyone there is focused on making wine and making sure everyone has a good timeAlso, the wood fired pizzas they do for special events have the impossible task of matching the quality of the wine, and they do. Everything I've said about the wine goes for the pizza as well. Amazing. I didn't know pizza crust could taste that good. Looking forward to enjoying many more of those this summer and beyond.“
