The chicken patties are a little on the ‘did we shrink in the wash?’ side, but hey, it’s a burger joint, not a poultry symposium. The kid is perfectly happy with the hot dog and corndog, proving once again that children have absolutely no standards and somehow still make better life choices than I do. The service is a gutter ball, unfortunately, ordering both online and in person.“

“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!“

“Online ordering is very easy and when we picked it up, the food looked even better than in the photos. Our order was done right on time and was the most delicious Thai food I’ve had in Oregon or NY. I can’t remember having Thai food anywhere else, but it’s likely better than that too. The salad rolls and papaya salad were my favorite but the grilled pork was an important part of the meal.“

Coffee and bake goods are the best in town, parking is the most convenient, and waits are short.“

“Westside is without question the best taphouse in Salem. Great variety of beers, ciders, and wines that skew PNW local. Almost always something new and unique to try. Small selection of cans & bottles to go. Friendly staff & nice atmosphere. Year round outdoor seating as well.

“One of our go to places! I absolutely love their shrimp fried rice. It’s light, flavorful and always tastes so fresh. My husband gets the beef with mushrooms and fried rice and loves it too. “It is hard to find good breakfast in this area and Cafe 22 hits the spot. I love their peaches, the pancake thickness isnt overly cakey and hard to swallow. The bacon is thick and cooked just right. The raspberry jam is real raspberry jam. The water mentioned in the another review is because they are on a well so it does taste little bit more tinnish, a lemon wedge in my water cured that. Stopped by the fruit stand for fresh strawberries, on the spendy side, but oh the flavor, absolutely nothing beats an Oregon strawberry. Had I known they did strawberry short cake, I woulda skipped the breakfast and went straight to the fruit stand.“

“Wonderful experience here! Maybe one of the best Ive been to. Nor just from the quality of the wines but the whole tarting experience.

As I pulled up, Brandon was there to greet me. Started off with a lovely sparkling wine and then I got some history of the winery. I was then shown to a private cabin to beging the tasting. Was so interesting to start with reds! They were so good. I loved how all 3 got poured so you could see/taste the differences. I wasnt rushed at all and felt very attended to especially give I was solo. Got a great little platter of some bites which was great as I finished the reds. The room I was in was super comfy and had a cute fire going.

The whites were terrific. The 2nd one was what put this place on the map for me. So we'll balanced and as I'm not a fan of Chardonnay that are buttery these 3 were anything but that.

At the end of the tarting I was able to explore on my own around the property before I headed out to my next tasting.

Everything lived up to my expectations and will absolutely recommend Evening Land to everyone.
