As a mom of 3 young kids, I get anxiety taking them into places fearing they will be loud and messy or treated badly. Kat was our server and she was kind and patient with my kids. I loved the food, and was even more appreciative of the fact that when she asked about our food, my son actually didn’t like the flavor of what he ordered and they reordered something he would like. Great first experience!
The New England clam chowder was really good. I also got the chicken with eggs benedict. The idea is better than the meal. There was just too much going on. The biscuits and fried chicken was too much for the hollandaise to come through. I've had their eggs benedict before and it's really good, this, not as much. The wait staff was awesome as usual.

Fun and funky decor combined with friendly service and seriously delicious food makes Acme Cafe a new favorite of mine. Everything is homemade, including the jam, Hollandaise sauce and decadent baked goods. I love the repurposed bowling alley lanes for counter tops and canning jar light fixtures! I will be back!
