First time here, and first time staying the night here. Love the century+ old building and of course what McMenamins has done with their preservation efforts. Will definitely be back!
We had four different servers. The first one was poor, the rest were friendly. The food was great!
McMenamins has an excellent Blackberry cider. I found it a refreshing change from beer or wine. We enjoy splitting an order of tater tots along with a glass of refreshment in the evening. There was pretty much no one in the restaurant because of the time, so it was nice and quiet. The young women who served us was cherry and efficient! We enjoyed her.

The rooms have character, are comfortable, and warm inside, with individually themed decor. While some rooms may not have a private bathroom, they are still nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.
