Kason Vineyards Wineries •
7200 NW Bony Rd, Yamhill

“What a wonderful secret gem. First time visitor. We found this winery actually through Groupon. In the summer of 2023 they are running a great wine and cheese flight pairing package. It included a large cheese and charcuterie board with two wine tastings. Our hostess Sharron was very nice. She provided information about the wines, the winery, and her journey from California up to Oregon. They have breathtaking views of the surrounding area and also patio seating. We kept cool inside where the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Lots of really nice Italian inspired tapestries and fun grape decor. It felt like we were family by the time we left. Very laid back atmosphere and friendly people. I would definitely come back again. It was a wonderful time and a beautiful day. The roses and outside cat also delighted our senses. Magical memories. Highly recommend.“

Lenné Estate Wineries • $$
18760 NE Laughlin Rd, Yamhill

“I'm a new club member because we really like the wines, the view and tasting room are beautiful, they allow outside food, they allow dogs, and it's close to home. However, when we brought out-of-town guests recently, we all were appalled at the lack of service. There were only two other small parties tasting, and our server unceremoniously deposited the tasting notes and carafes on our table, told us to "taste clockwise from the white," and never spoke to us again. We had to listen as he explained the wines to another table; we felt like chopped liver. There wasn't even any thoughtful communication when I paid for our purchases. I wonder if all club members are treated this way. . .“

Gran Moraine Winery Wineries •
17090 NE Woodland Loop Rd, Yamhill

“I have been going to Gran Moraine regularly since a friend introduced me to this winery 4 years ago and recently became a wine club member. The wines here are unlike anything else I've had from the Willamette Valley. They are full of nuance and are far and away my favorite wines from the area. I have introduced numerous friends to this spot and every time, my guests are so impressed with not only the quality of the wines, but the professionalism of the staff. The service here is always impeccable and Tim is the absolute best! His brain is overflowing with wine knowledge and he will happily share any information with you about what he knows. I learn something new every visit. The views here are lovely, and the seating area inside is cozy and beautiful. The patio on the back is one of my favorite places to sit when the weather is nice because you can hear the winemakers hard at work and you can jam to whatever their daily playlist. If you haven't been here yet, you are absolutely missing out. Their huge selection of pinots are wonderful, as are their other varietals, and the Zena Crown line is not to be missed. Do yourself or any friends visiting you in Portland a favor, and book yourself a tasting here. You won't regret it.“

Sidereus Vineyard & Winery Winery • $$
5195 SW Hergert Rd, Cornelius - 11.15 miles

“My friend and I went here in February for the Valentine’s Wonderer card. Upon arriving, the building is lovely, and when you enter the fabulous energy that seeps into your being makes you feel so good and happy. I've never experienced that before. They have seating inside as well as seating on the balcony outside. The gentleman that seated us (outside, as it was a gorgeous sunny day) was just fabulous! The view was spectacular! Trees framing the view of a snow-covered Mt Hood and the vineyard below (of course, the vines were bare, but I'm sure come sping/summer that will just add to this gorgeous view). We started with the Chardonay, which was light with a hint of butteriness and a crisp after taste. It was very good. The next was their Pinot Gris, and let me just say it's sunshine in a bottle! The next 3 tastes were Pinot Noirs, and I admit I'm not one that goes for Pinot Noirs. Boy, did they prove me wrong! I love all 3. The first one was light, mildly fruity, with a hint of sweetness to finish (this was my favorite). This one came from their vines. The second one was sorced from Washington grapes, the taste was bolder, more of the traditional Pinot Noir flavors, but very good. The last was the most bold and was absolutely delightful! The cost is justified, but I'm on a very limited budget. The last was the Cabernet Sauvignon, and though again I'm not big on Sauvignons, it was one of the best I've had!I came home with the Pinot Gris and the 1st Pinot Noir. Yum!!! My friend and I agree we will be visiting this winery a lot! I highly recommend them! Cheers!“

“This experience was beyond any expectation we could have had. The entire team was professional, informative, warm and completely outdid themselves in every single aspect. The wines were absolutely stunning, the Chardonnay all of the Pinots were unique from one another and very complex. The bonus pour of the Merlot was just the cherry on top. We were beaming. Tim, Braxton and the entire hospitality, office and winemaking team are wonderful! I can't wait to go back and share this experience with those we love!“

Dominio IV Wines Winery •

“Imagine strolling in, saying you have a reservation under your name, and then one of the team members going “oh my gosh, you’re Darcy!” And running to grab a bottle of champagne (that our friend had coordinated in advance). It started our visit here on such a fun note, and that level of excitement and charm sustained our entire visit. This is a special place. The home is set up so everyone does their wine tasting very privately. The team members are so thoughtful and enthusiastic in how they present the wine, and the wine itself is amazing. I love the imagination series!! We will always come back here and recommend!“

“What a beautiful tasting room and delicious wine! This was a refreshing experience after visiting some more expensive and upscale wineries in Willamette Valley--of which there are many--but don't think Ghost Hill has inferior wine. We were blown away by the rich, vibrant pinots served to us during out tasting. Cam was a wonderful host and explained flavors and varietals in ways I had never heard before. Definitely worth including in your Willamette wine adventures!“

“A Gem in Carlton: Flaneur WineryFrom the moment you step into Flaneur Winery's tasting room in Carlton, Oregon, you're not just entering a winery; you're embarking on a multifaceted wine experience that transcends the ordinary. As a wine club member for over a year, I've had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand the unique offerings that set Flaneur apart in the rich tapestry of Willamette Valley's wine scene.Flaneur doesn't just serve wine; they curate experiences. From the carefully crafted wine maker's dinners that showcase the versatility and depth of their vintages, to the engaging and unexpected events like Taro Card readings, there's always something new and exciting to look forward to. These gatherings are not just about wine; they're about building community, sharing stories, and creating unforgettable moments. The heart and soul of Flaneur, however, is its people. The staff's passion for wine and genuine hospitality is palpable, with Mindy herself leading by example. Always positive and upbeat, Mindy ensures every visit is memorable, even during the quieter seasons when the valley slows down. This level of personal touch and warmth makes Flaneur not just a winery, but a home away from home for wine lovers. The wines themselves are exceptional, embodying the richness and diversity of Oregon's terroir. Each bottle tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and a deep respect for nature, qualities that resonate deeply with those who appreciate fine wine. It's this unwavering commitment to quality that makes Flaneur not only one of my top-rated wineries but also a frequent recommendation to my clients. In conclusion, Flaneur Winery is more than just a destination; it's an experience, a community, and a testament to the beauty of Oregon wine. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or new to the world of wine, Flaneur welcomes you with open arms and a glass ready to be filled with something truly special. “Had a delightful experience with our tasting reservation and enjoyed the tour provided by Sebastian, one of the resident felines. We appreciated how Sokol Blosser's tasting room is set up so that most tables have a view to the well landscaped area around the building and don't leave you feeling like you're sitting on top of other patrons. While walking around outside and checking out the landscaping, I could see the plants chosen would provide a nice display as often as nature allows during the different seasons.“

Knudsen Vineyards Winery •
9419 NE Worden Hill Rd, Dundee - 7.36 miles

“I was a fan of Knudsen Vineyards' grapes long before we dropped in at their tasting room and subsequently became club members. They have traditionally provided grapes to Argyle Winery for use in their top-rated sparkling wines, and many a KnudsenVinyard Brut from Argyle has added brillince to New Years Eve and other festive occasions. Then we stopped in at the hilltop tasting room and learned about their OWN wines. They make some luscious Pinot Noirs from the surrounding hillsides, including some from vines planted in the '70s and always with a note about the clonal varieties used in each bottling, such as the clones used, the types and length of barrel aging, and the history of the vineyards from which the grapes were sourced. As a fun observation: if you've seen the Oregon Wine Country license plates with a rolling hill covered in vines, that's taken from a painting of one of the Knudsen plantings. They were one of the first vineyards to the Willamette Valley and their history is notable. We never fail to attend their Club Member Appreciation days, and have just returned from one last Saturday. Complimentary tastings and a light cheese board with snacks to highlight the food pairing potential of their wine are a lovely touch. They also do celebrations throughout the year, sometimes with live music and a variety of appetizers. It's a good club to belong to, and we love taking home a selection of the wines we've tasted there.Short version: A great tasting room, luscious wines with long Oregon history, and a great set of perks for club members.“
