“Such a great wine tour and tasting! We had Eric as our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge (as well as a great photographer for group shots). They were very accommodating when we ran into some transportation issues too. The winery has such a cool history and amazing views! This is a must do when visiting the area!“
“For a first experience at a live painting and winery this one will be tough to beat. I might just have to keep going back to this one. Thank you to my nephew and his bestie for taking me and my bestie on this wonderful adventure.
We saw @erinhansonartist live painting while basking in all the beauty of the vineyard this weekend and literally cannot wait to go back especially since the artist is live painting there till June. Who’s going with me?
✨The vibes and views were immaculate
✨The staff were beyond welcoming to a group who felt very out of place 😊
✨The food and bubbly absolutely five stars🌟
Thank you for coming to my amateur review 🤩😊“
“Add Willakenzie to your wineyard bucket list on Newberg area. Outstanding wine, great facilities, plenty of space to walk around and amazing service. Hats off for Ryan our server who has a clear domaine on winemaking history/geography/chemistry. The estate arquitectures ensure that the wine is the center of attention on every aspect. Solid 5 stars recommendation“
“Stopped in to use our Groupon, and had a great time! Thank you for the cheese plate and wine tasting. We even saw a coyote just after we left the place. Will be back in the summer :)“
“Absolutely fantastic venue. Not only was Jared an amazing host, but was incredibly helpful along the entire event planning process. Very open book and really open to all kinds of concepts for wedding day. Coming from a wedding planner I highly recommend this venue for more intimate weddings and events! The views and lighting here and absolutely stunning. Nothing even compares to the feeling this venue gives!“
“A highlight of our May trip to Oregon wine country! There’s no need for pretense here; the beautiful setting, gracious hospitality, and exceptional wines of Ghost Hill Cellars say it all. We can’t wait to return on our next visit to the Willamette Valley.“
“Alexana is a must for anyone visiting Willamette. Great wines, great staff and beautiful location. This was our second trip to Alexana after a visit in 2025. We returned in 2026 with a group of 13 people and everyone enjoyed the hospitality, food and excellent wine.“
“What an amazing recommendation from NW Wine Shuttle and Kim. We squeezed them in and it ended up being my favorite part of the day! Spending time with Russell and the heart and story of Flaneur gave me a little bit of Paris married with delicious wine of the Willamette Valley. I cannot wait to return for food pairing and getting the most our of my new membership and reason to head to quaint Carlton from Portland as much as I can and recommending others as well as clients. What a great stop, don't miss it.“
“Wow, such wonderful Pinot Noir. We fell in love with the Elk Cove Pinot we stumbled upon while at Albertsons and had to try the wines at the vineyard. We were not disappointed.
Wonderful hospitality and delicious wines.“
“Great place to visit, relax, and sip some great wines.“
“We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Knudsen Vineyard in Willamette Valley. The vineyard is beautiful with stunning views (even in the rain today!), but what really made our visit was our host, Jeff.
Jeff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each wine and share more about the vineyard and winemaking process in a way that felt engaging and relaxed.
We visited with our children and really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the atmosphere was for families too.
The wines were excellent and the whole experience felt personal and memorable. We’d highly recommend a visit and would definitely return next time we’re in the area.“
“My clients throughly enjoyed their time at Dominio IV.
The 100 year old house that host tastings is like stepping back in time with great wines, vineyard views and extremely hospitable staff.
This is why Dominio IV is on my “go to” list in the Yamhill/Carlton AVA.“
“Was looking for a new place to check out and came upon the great reviews for this place. The previous reviews were spot on! Great views, great staff, and great wine. As you can see we enjoyed the charcuterie board. Can't go wrong with this place. We got to meet the owners, nice folks! I definitely plan on returning.“
“We had the most incredible experience at this vineyard! We didn’t have a reservation, and they were actually closed when we arrived, but one of my friends had been wanting to visit because of their podcast collaboration with Game of Roses. We were honestly a little skeptical at first about a wine being known because of a podcast, but Collin Styring and his family completely exceeded our expectations.
Collin graciously opened the property for us and gave us a private tour. We were visiting Oregon wine country for the very first time all the way from Texas, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special introduction to the Willamette Valley. Every single wine we tried was absolutely outstanding, with Collin even bringing out specific wines for us to taste.
What really stood out was how much effort, passion, and personal care Collin and his family put into everything they do. They were incredibly generous with their time and even opened up the behind-the-scenes side of the vineyard, walking us through their bottling and wine-making processes. They have taken a traditional craft and made it incredibly personal and unique—something that feels truly special and unlike anywhere else we visited in the Willamette Valley.
The vineyard itself is beautiful and tucked away in the countryside, offering the perfect escape to enjoy peace, quiet, nature, and incredible wine. I had to seriously limit myself to only buying three bottles to ship back to Texas!
We are so grateful to Collin and his family for welcoming us and giving us such a memorable experience. If you’re visiting Oregon wine country, we highly recommend making a stop here. The wine is outstanding, the setting is beautiful, and the people behind it make the experience truly unforgettable. We will absolutely be back! 🍷❤“
“A lovely family winery with incredible wines! I have been a club member now for many years and have enjoyed the consistent excellence of their wines as well as the lovely and peaceful setting with views of the coastal range while the sun goes down....“
“Love the scenery, the vineyards, setting, the choice in wines, friendly knowledgeable staff, and they are so friendly to my pug dog, Pancake!! Always take a different bottle home!!“
“Stunning venue, delicious wine and great service.
What a gorgeous vineyard, where you can sit outside, with bottles of wine with your own picnic basket watching the gorgeous sunset!
I could not take my eyes off the stunning view. Sunset was just stunning. They have a great selection of wines. We opted for bottle services, Pinot Rośe being one of the selections and it paired very well with the stunning view. We bought few bottles to bring home.
You can see some wild life while watching the sunset and they are harmless. Staff here are awesome and extremely friendly. So glad we found this vineyard and it was worth the 45min drive from Portland.“
“As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, I came here as my first winery in Oregon and it was brilliant. Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. So gotta say this is probably the best one I have tried in thr States to date. Liked the Pinot Noir range also.“
“PGC (Patricia Green Cellars) is a living history of Oregon Pinot Noir wine. I consider this a cant miss stop for Oregon Pinot tastings. Diverse and complex wines. And something for everyone with more than 30 varietals. My favorite: Freedom Hill Wadenswil.
Get here!! You won't be disappointed“
“We just returned from a fantastic tasting experience at Trisaetum. While the wines were excellent as was the setting, what really made it an experience to remember was the hospitality we received from Alice. We have done our fair share of winery tastings over the years and the ones that end up being memorable are the ones where the hospitality is on par with, if not exceeds, the wine itself. Alice, we will raise our glass to you with a toast when whenever we open a bottle! Whether it’s the 7am Rose or 5pm Martini! Cheers!!“
“Beautiful estate. We were greeted warmly by Erica and Galen, the place is so peaceful, clean. The best part is that you get to bring your whole family including your fur baby :). Most the winery’s around do not welcome kids but here kids and dogs are welcome. For a working mom like me having the time with my kid while I enjoy a glass of wine is huge! We will definitely be back.“
“Nice people great wine!! I highly recommend going there.“
“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here. Robin (our wine tasting guide) did an excellent job of explaining all of the wines to us and was so much fun chatting with. She really knew the wines and how they were grown and did a wonderful job of explaining everything. We ended up leaving the tasting room with more wines to take home than we expected. A great experience and fun location!“

“Had a great tasting experience here on a rainy afternoon! So cozy inside on the couches and our host Brit was so lovely to talk to. I loved hearing about the history of the place and seeing the soil in jars 🤓 and the wines were excellent. I loved and would totally buy almost all of the ones we tasted. Great spot for wine tasting year round and love the wines!“
“the wine and the service are both fantastic.“
“Ribbon Ridge wines are some of the best of Oregon Wines. Ribbon Ridge is a tiny AVA that produces the amazing grapes. Ridgecrest (RR Wines) knows how to make the most of those grapes. The added plus is fantastic owners and staff. Highly recommend visiting their tasting cottage..“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“
“We had a fantastic time at Lemelson Vineyards! The wine was fantastic and the views were incredible. They had some varietals we had never tasted before and we went home with several bottles. This will be a must stop for every time we come back to the Willamette Valley!“
“Every Memorial Day and/or Thanksgiving, I make a trip out to visit Westrey's warehouse in McMinnville. Dave and Amy are such great hosts who make amazing wine! I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! Don't miss it on your trip to McMinnville!“
“A stop that definitely stands apart from some of the other tasting rooms in the area. Set in a converted pig barn connected to their wine operations, it offers a unique, down-to-earth atmosphere. Friendly furry companions roaming about only add to the charm, making for a memorable and distinctly different tasting experience.“
“I was so lucky to stumble upon this tasting room in Carlton! I honestly can’t stop raving about it. Nicky provided fantastic service, and every wine I tried was delicious… the Rubis was an absolute standout. I’m thrilled to have joined their wine club and can't wait to go back!“
“For a very intimate tasting of some truly great wines, Native Flora should be on the top of your list. Looking forward to opening our bottles we bought and getting more from this cutting edge wine maker. Beautiful home, property, and dog 💕“
“I went to Carlo & Julian Winery today with a friend. I haven't been there since 2019. I liked this winery then and I love it now! 10 wonderful wines to taste and he just happened to have made a pulled pork and homemade chimichurri which was AMAZING both food and wine. If I had the money I would have come home with a variety case. Pricing of wines are extremely reasonable and the quality of the wines are amazing! I'm not a Pinot Noir person as a rule, but he had 3 that I could drink very happily. He also had the best, bar none, a GSM!!!! That did go home with me.😁 The 2021 Merlot-Malbec was so delicious that it also came home with me. The Syrah and Melbec oh my! Seriously if you haven't been or it's been a while you need to go! I plan I going again and bringing more friends to try his amazing wines! See you soon Carlo & Julian Winery!!!“
“Very nice tasting room in the heart of McMinnville. Katie had a nice table setup for our party. We started with some sparkling white wine. We had a wonderful wine tasting and we even bought some Pinot Noir. We highly recommend this winery to others.“
“If you're serious about Willamette Valley wine and haven't found Ricochet yet, fix that immediately.
The Pilot Blanc stopped me cold. Sourced from some of the oldest Pinot Blanc plantings in the valley, it's completely unadulterated. Gently pressed, neutral barrel aged, and utterly alive. No winemaker fingerprints, just the vineyard doing its thing. It's the kind of white that makes you rethink what Oregon can do outside of Pinot Noir.
The Gamay is equally arresting. Bright, precise, and impossible to put down.
Then there's the Off-Line series . A sparkling Grüner Veltliner and a sparkling Tempranillo Rosé that manage to feel both playful and serious at once. Dry, food-friendly, and genuinely exhilarating. The kind of wines you open on the patio and finish before you meant to.
Winemaker Erich makes the whole experience feel personal and unpretentious. He'll answer anything, and as club members we've had the chance to get our hands into production, which is rare and genuinely special.
This is a winery with a clear point of view and the craft to back it up. Highly recommended.“
“We were lucky to have a wonderful back of house office/marketing person who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather help us. The food was delicious, beets with strawberries and goat
Cheese and pink peppercorns and wonderful spring pea hummus and a great olive oil tasting. Wine selection was good and they also have a nature trail good to walk pups and me, after all the food.
My husband discovered an additional bakery cafe in the back and left with some wonderful shortbread type cookies, one lemon with lavender, I think, and one dipped in chocolate, and some sea salt caramel brownies. All delicious and also very pretty cozy place!“
“We stayed here one night through Harvest Host and it was fantastic. Obviously we had to the wine tasting and not only are their wines fantastic, the tasting was a lot of fun! You get a little welcome bubbles and then the wines you want to taste. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable and fun! I'm happy we were able to put 4 bottles in our suitcases on the way home.“
“We really enjoyed our time at Archery Summit. We had a group of about 10 people including an infant. The staff was very helpful when we had a last minute change of guest count. The tasting was delicious along with the snacks and bites we had. We are members as well from the east coast, so it is always great to visit such a beautiful property and experience the winery in person!“
“Had a wonderful wine tasting today with Miriam. She was kind and knowledgeable! She taught us so much about the area and the Brittan family and the owner is on their 51st harvest! We loved the wine. It’s the first Chardonnay I’ve ever liked. They’re in a busy season so we got to see a bit of their process and learn more about how the wine is made. We will absolutely come back.“
“Wines that are a good mix of displaying typical Oregon pinot fruit, but with enough restraint to let the complexity shine through.“
“Very laid back with old school pricing. Love their whites and Rose. They’re sold out of Sauvignon Blanc. Great deal and atmosphere although just off the highway.“
“We had an amazing time during our visit! While we didn't sample every wine, the Cabernet Franc truly stood out for us. The winery itself is intriguing—it may appear to be a simple storefront in the city, but it boasts stunning views of the valley and mountains. We also enjoyed the bocce ball courts, and the staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the prices were very reasonable!“
“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.
My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“
“We received another case of your fabulous wines today. Megan gave us attentive service from start to finish.“
“Good variety of wines with a wine maker that has great passion for his work.“
“An amazing experience a great hospitality. Ryan always makes the experience for my wife and our guests enjoyable. I truly hate to tell you about this hidden gem but these guy's deserve the recognition. Hands down my favorite place to hangout and enjoy the sports on TV at the tasting room.“
“Incredible hidden winery. We went here on a whim and we are so happy we did. The view is beautiful. The service was terrific. The wines were delicious. I highly recommend making the trip here. I can’t wait to return and to share it with others.“
“Such a cool experience. Our awesome tour guide (Grape Escape- Ralph Stinton) who we highly recommend set us up with David and a few other great earthy French style Pinot Noir producers which we prefer. My wife and I sat on David’s back porch with Walker and had EXCELLENT Pinot Noirs. It felt like sitting with a friend just enjoying great wine before David took off for the coast with Walker. He had really interesting stories of his experiences and we felt like we really got to know him.
David was kind enough to delay his trip to the coast for us and we are very thankful he did. We are new members of his wine club and look forward to receiving our first case in the fall. Highly recommend visiting particularly if you like earthy French burgundy style wine.“

“We cannot say enough about our experience at Gran Moraine. We booked our tasting here specifically for the Zena Crown experience. Giancarlo was absolutely AMAZING! So much great information was provided during our welcome to the winery, a tour of the processing and wine making facility, and the tasting itself. The staff was so helpful when I called to book as well. We had a larger group doing a tasting plus and smaller group not tasting including an infant in our party. They made sure everyone felt equally welcome and taken care of. The charcuterie was so tasty as well and beautifully curated. We chose to become members of the winery during our tasting as well and we can't wait to continue to enjoy the wine at home. We really look forward to visiting again!“
