“We had such a lovely time in the charming tasting room! Mallory and McKenna were just delightful and so knowledgeable, which really enhanced our experience. The Pinots and white blend were so unique and delicious, as was the cheese plate. I really appreciated the gluten free crackers which were excellent. “Out of all of the wineries we visited and sampled during the International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC), this was hands down my wife and I's favorite. Terrific wines at a reasonable price that are not released until they are ready to drink. One of the current release Pinots was made 8 years ago. Releasing this late is unheard of outside of Spain. Also, a terrific family owns and runs the estate.“

“We stayed one night at Youngberg Hill on our way from the Oregon Coast to PDX and it was wonderful! We spent a delightful afternoon tasting the delicious wines on the porch overlooking the beautiful vineyard and Valley beyond. Our server, Molly, was friendly, knowledgeable and no pressure, and along with the sounds of the musical group warming up for their evening performance, it was a perfect afternoon.
Our room was clean and comfortable and we were able to sit on the deck to enjoy the music after our dinner at a restaurant Michelle recommended in town. Breakfast next morning was healthy and delicious. Highly recommend the Inn for a stay in the Willamette Valley!“
“We ended our day at the vineyard. Beautiful grounds for a walk and stretch before sitting out on the deck and tasting. The flight was just awesome. Starting with a wonderful Pinot Blanc. Followed by dryer and darker sampling. The Tall Poppy is excellent and well worth the visit. We had a charcuterie board, and I, as designated driver, enjoyed a sparkling mineral water. Staff was very friendly.“

“Our favorite tasting room of those we have tried in McMinnville! Shantel is fantastic, knows a lot about the wines and so down to earth. The wine speaks for itself. We loved the reds, especially the Sadie blend and the Cab Franc. This is a must try place on 3rd!“
“There was no food. Just a wine tasting. Silly to have it required. Second tasting here. First time was ransom spirits. This time duck pong and other wines. Both are good and fun. Wines were good, but nothing outstanding. Happy to go back again.“

As the Beverage Director at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida I literally have access to just about any wine there is in the world, not just the Willamette Valley. While I haven't had a R.Stuart wine I did not enjoy, the single vineyard Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir is a stand out for me every year. I highly recommend stopping by Rob's tasting room when visiting Mcminnville. You will not be disappointed!“

“Every Memorial Day and/or Thanksgiving, I make a trip out to visit Westrey's warehouse in McMinnville. Dave and Amy are such great hosts who make amazing wine! I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! Don't miss it on your trip to McMinnville!“
