Sidereus Vineyard & Winery Winery • $$
5195 SW Hergert Rd, Cornelius - 4.46 miles

“My friend and I went here in February for the Valentine’s Wonderer card. Upon arriving, the building is lovely, and when you enter the fabulous energy that seeps into your being makes you feel so good and happy. I've never experienced that before. They have seating inside as well as seating on the balcony outside. The gentleman that seated us (outside, as it was a gorgeous sunny day) was just fabulous! The view was spectacular! Trees framing the view of a snow-covered Mt Hood and the vineyard below (of course, the vines were bare, but I'm sure come sping/summer that will just add to this gorgeous view). We started with the Chardonay, which was light with a hint of butteriness and a crisp after taste. It was very good. The next was their Pinot Gris, and let me just say it's sunshine in a bottle! The next 3 tastes were Pinot Noirs, and I admit I'm not one that goes for Pinot Noirs. Boy, did they prove me wrong! I love all 3. The first one was light, mildly fruity, with a hint of sweetness to finish (this was my favorite). This one came from their vines. The second one was sorced from Washington grapes, the taste was bolder, more of the traditional Pinot Noir flavors, but very good. The last was the most bold and was absolutely delightful! The cost is justified, but I'm on a very limited budget. The last was the Cabernet Sauvignon, and though again I'm not big on Sauvignons, it was one of the best I've had!I came home with the Pinot Gris and the 1st Pinot Noir. Yum!!! My friend and I agree we will be visiting this winery a lot! I highly recommend them! Cheers!“

Alexana Winery Winery •

“This experience was beyond any expectation we could have had. The entire team was professional, informative, warm and completely outdid themselves in every single aspect. The wines were absolutely stunning, the Chardonnay all of the Pinots were unique from one another and very complex. The bonus pour of the Merlot was just the cherry on top. We were beaming. Tim, Braxton and the entire hospitality, office and winemaking team are wonderful! I can't wait to go back and share this experience with those we love!“

Dominio IV Wines Winery •
11570 NE Intervale Rd, Carlton - 9.68 miles

“Imagine strolling in, saying you have a reservation under your name, and then one of the team members going “oh my gosh, you’re Darcy!” And running to grab a bottle of champagne (that our friend had coordinated in advance). It started our visit here on such a fun note, and that level of excitement and charm sustained our entire visit. This is a special place. The home is set up so everyone does their wine tasting very privately. The team members are so thoughtful and enthusiastic in how they present the wine, and the wine itself is amazing. I love the imagination series!! We will always come back here and recommend!“

The Carlton Winemakers Studio Winery • $$
801 N Scott St, Carlton - 9.66 miles

“Had done brief review a few years back. Today, my friend and owner of A Vineyard Wine Tour, visited for her first time at CWS. Nick is AMAZING with his vast valley and even international knowledge. I have to say everyone that works there is awesome and so knowledgeable. This is where almost all of the valley wine makers got their start. Their ability to pour/customize a tasting that fits what you like, is unprecedented! If you are going to join a wine club, this is a great option with so many wine options! So unpretentious yet more information you could learn in 50 books or wine tours. I am a wine club member, even though I work in the industry, and will continue to refer anyone who is local or visiting to go here to get their "feet wet", or learn more than you can remember in two wines! Thank you!“

Kason Vineyards Wineries •
7200 NW Bony Rd, Yamhill - 6.31 miles

“What a wonderful secret gem. First time visitor. We found this winery actually through Groupon. In the summer of 2023 they are running a great wine and cheese flight pairing package. It included a large cheese and charcuterie board with two wine tastings. Our hostess Sharron was very nice. She provided information about the wines, the winery, and her journey from California up to Oregon. They have breathtaking views of the surrounding area and also patio seating. We kept cool inside where the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Lots of really nice Italian inspired tapestries and fun grape decor. It felt like we were family by the time we left. Very laid back atmosphere and friendly people. I would definitely come back again. It was a wonderful time and a beautiful day. The roses and outside cat also delighted our senses. Magical memories. Highly recommend.“

ROCO Winery Winery •
13260 NE Red Hills Rd, Newberg - 10.51 miles

“Very accommodating on our recent trip here. They had some classic style wines and also some that were quite interesting and different than I was used to. They have something for everyone from standard white, and reds, to white and reds with bubbles. They also gave us ideas for other vineyards to check out when discussing our tastes or what we liked at their location. They gave explanations on their wine making process for their wines that was also easy to understand and they did a good job keeping things interesting while we visited.“
