Owners and their son are soooo nice and knowledgeable, and they make the winery a welcoming and inclusive experience. “There is a nice selection of tasty wines that will not break the bank, and the wine club is off the hook! The tasting room is bright and welcoming, as is the tasting room team. It’s worth the trip any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.“

He doesn’t just hand you a bottle—he’ll walk you through the flavor profiles, explain the nuances, and even teach you how to enjoy wine properly if you’re new to it (all with zero pretension). The atmosphere is laid-back and unique, but what really makes it unforgettable is how Jeff matches wines to characters from books, TV shows, and movies. It’s quirky, creative, and so entertaining. Between the imaginative pairings, stellar wine selection, and Jeff’s passion for teaching, Pairings is hands down one of the most unique wine bars you’ll ever visit.“

“A chance to experience out of the ordinary wines that represent the German wine making style. Cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff and wine maker. Easy access from downtown Portland on the Orange MAX line. Highly recommend.“
