“Great wines from a local Oregon winery. Excellent prices and knowledgeable wine guy (Dan) thanks, we’ll be back“
“Alexana is absolutely stunning. Their property and tasting room are unique in a classy and beautiful way that stands out in a valley filled with wineries. Our host, Ean, was truly a delight. Ean shared with us the stories about the people and impressive team behind their wines and the family that built the brand. We got to learn about the 18 different soils on the property and how each one has an affect on the vines and grapes that grow from them. Ean had our tasting menu customized with our party's name and provided bottles of our preferred water so we could hydrate. Alexana came highly recommended by several others in the wine industry and it's easy to see why. Our tasting was absolutely perfect. Sitting next to the fire in the cover porch on a rainy day was lovely for both warmth and ambiance.
The wines were excellent, smooth yet bold pinots, refreshing rosé and a chardonnay that was crisp, clean and light. Ean made this entire experience one that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly excellent tasting as well as an intriguing tutorial on soils. Alexana has other properties in Napa and Argentina! Tasting the wines from Argentina was such a nice surprise, the Grenache and GSM left me speechless - and of course we had to buy a few bottles. We will undoubtedly be returning for more.
Thank You, Ean and the Alexana tasting for giving us an unforgettable experience.“
“These wines are SPECIAL. Not only was the space amazing, but the intention and craft of each wine blew us away. The experience was crafted and personal - if you are thinking about a trying a vineyard in the area…don’t mess around…try Rodeo Hills.“
“I went to Dobbes with a group of girlfriends for a friend’s bachelorette party. We had the BEST time. Not only was all of the wine delicious (and we all ended up buying a lot!) but the experience was top notch. Shout out to Kevin for being so enthusiastic, knowledgeable & punny! He truly made our day! We went to a few wineries after Dobbes & none of them measured up! I will definitely be back!“
“The staff here is amazing! We love Alexis and Reed. Super knowledgeable about the wines, the region and also just fun to be around. Oh and let's not forget about the wines. Soooo good. The pas de nom series is chefs kiss. The rose all day. The vigonier too! We became members this wine and the tasting room setting are so great.“
“We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Knudsen Vineyard in Willamette Valley. The vineyard is beautiful with stunning views (even in the rain today!), but what really made our visit was our host, Jeff.
Jeff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each wine and share more about the vineyard and winemaking process in a way that felt engaging and relaxed.
We visited with our children and really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the atmosphere was for families too.
The wines were excellent and the whole experience felt personal and memorable. We’d highly recommend a visit and would definitely return next time we’re in the area.“
“Love the scenery, the vineyards, setting, the choice in wines, friendly knowledgeable staff, and they are so friendly to my pug dog, Pancake!! Always take a different bottle home!!“
“We had such a fantastic experience at Winderlea Vineyard. My group of college friends (Villanova) are visiting the area…this was one of the highlights of our trip. The winery has a boutique feel. intimate, relaxed, in a beautiful setting. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Employees Scott and Stacey were outstanding. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with. We also met Anna, the owner. She was warm, engaging, and it was clear she wanted to create a great experience for guests. If visiting the Willamette valley I would highly recommend a visit. We learned Anna’s father was a big Villanova basketball fan so we took a photo with her which is included.“
“I have to say I love how Willamette Valley handles snow days. Thank you to the incredible staff at Domaine Willamette, who came together and served us perfectly with a smile. You know how to treat your owners and industry guests. Our flights, cuisine, and cozy ambiance were just exquisite.“
“Amazing small “boutique” winery highly recommend delicious wine. David is awesome very knowledgeable and down to earth awesome view awesome wine!!!!“
“We visited Ghost Hill on a winery tour for my bachelorette party. Cam and his team were so friendly and the wine was delicious - the sparkling Chardonnay was fab, and I don't typically like Chardonnay! We spent a few hours at Ghost Hill, the venue itself was stunning and we were able to spread out and chat, take photos, wander a bit all while getting served wine every few minutes. Highly recommend, we can't wait to come back!“
“We just returned from a fantastic tasting experience at Trisaetum. While the wines were excellent as was the setting, what really made it an experience to remember was the hospitality we received from Alice. We have done our fair share of winery tastings over the years and the ones that end up being memorable are the ones where the hospitality is on par with, if not exceeds, the wine itself. Alice, we will raise our glass to you with a toast when whenever we open a bottle! Whether it’s the 7am Rose or 5pm Martini! Cheers!!“
“While visiting Oregon for the first time, we stopped in The Dusky Goose on the way to Eugene for the marathon. We did not have a reservation and we were warmly welcomed! We sat on the patio and enjoyed beautiful weather and view. Scott was our host and did great telling us the history and answering all our questions. The wine is delicious and one person in our group joined the club. Scott fixed us up with glasses and hats and additional wine for the rest of our trip. My bottle made it safely back to Oklahoma:) We loved the area and highly recommend taking the time to visit The Dusky Goose!!“
“Omg you just have to go there. After a couple traditional wineries we stumbled into this place. It was a fantastic treat. I recommend making reservations and bringing some friends. You will not be disappointed. You will be welcomed into a super comfortable setting. It’s almost like enjoying a glass of wine at home- if home is trendy, decorated will both class and humor and a friendly knowledge person is there to serve you delicious but unpretentious wine.“
“A lovely family winery with incredible wines! I have been a club member now for many years and have enjoyed the consistent excellence of their wines as well as the lovely and peaceful setting with views of the coastal range while the sun goes down....“
“We had an absolute blast visiting Patricia Green Cellars! We were a group of four women who range in wine education and interest. I booked PGC because I'd heard that they'd have the best range of Pinot Noirs (Oregon's most famous grape) for the newbies in our group. We arrived at 3pm on the Friday of a long weekend. It was quiet when we arrived, but we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming vibes. We were sat at a large table indoors, from which we enjoyed great 180 degree views. Yes, even from inside! Bottled water and a cheese plate were already laid out upon our arrival. Abigail was our server and wine educator. She was absolutely fantastic - amiable, humorous, and knowledgeable. She provided us THE BEST Oregon Wine 101 class and served a range of Pinots, allowing us to really understand the vastness of the Pinot grape. Moreover, she was just the best intro to the area. She gave us great recommendations on food, bars, and other wineries we might want to consider (while also telling us we'd planned well, lol).
We'd recommend PCG as a great place to start any Willamette Valley wine weekend!“
“Their Inverse is the best Rose I’ve ever had, and their property is a delight to explore. On top of this, their hospitality is incredible and they even recognized me on only my second visit many months later. This place is a gem in wine country.“
“The combination of incredible Rex Hill wines and our informative and personable hostess, Joan, made for a fantastic afternoon. We have loved Rex Hill wines since 1989 and Joan reaffirmed our commitment and became Rex Hill members.
Additionally we had a tasting at our first pick-up and were well cared-for by Brandon and Tina. What a lovely venue, inside and out. This is perfect home to REX HILL’S incredible slate of wines. Every single wine, be it their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Red Blend, is absolutely incredible. We cannot wait to return!“
“Despite my years in France—living in the Bordeaux region, roaming Burgundy and Champagne—I’m always drawn back to Potter’s Vineyard for the bold, the rich, the beautiful new French Oak, and above all, their one-of-a-kind Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Bill and Sandy are true masters of their craft.

“Stopped here on a whim and this was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to stumble upon in wine country! Small, family-owned, excellent wine from local vineyards.
David was so hospitable and informative (and funny!) and the wines were interesting and delicious. We were particularly impressed by the white and rose offerings that were far more complex than you sometimes see. The pinot noir was also lovely.
Reasonable tasting fee waived with 2 bottle purchase. Highly recommend!“
“Elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Stunning view.“
“I walked in and told Earl I was industry and he gave me an amazing tasting of most of the wines and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the wines. The Pinots are soft and fruity and the Rieslings are quintessentially German in character. Delicious and very affordable. 10/10 would come again.“
“Nice people great wine!! I highly recommend going there.“
“Mary and Brandon were amazing! Wine was fantastic and the views were spectacular!“
“I am visiting from Az and my son took me here, the owners have been here for a little less than a year and are simply wonderful. What a beautiful piece of the world with wonderful owners. Perfect“
“I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but this winery tour & tasting was AWESOME. We visited based on the other great reviews and glad we did. We were a little apprehensive when we pulled in because the property is very rural and intimate but WOW, the personal attention and wine presentation and sampling was off the charts!
Bonus to find out the owner was from the KC area and went to K-State. #smallworld
Would highly recommend.“
“Beautiful evening with unique flights, stunning views, and passionate staff. It’s incredible to learn entrepreneurs' stories and how invested, they are in winemaking. We loved the Rieslings, will definitely visit again!“
“The facility and vineyards were beautiful. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He told us about the history of the vineyard and all the nuances that go with growing wine in this region. I guess we are middle of the road wine drinkers and this winery is not the middle of the road winery. High cost, in our opinion, for tasting ($50 per person) and higher cost for their bottles of wine ($40 - $130 per bottle). Most were on the higher end. We lived the vineyard, we loved our host, it was just at a much higher cost for these middle of the road wine drinkers.“
“Great experience! You get to meet the people that do the work, they have great pride!!“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“Great wine, fermented in their handmade amphoras.“
“Great place, great wine, great people!“
“Had an awesome tasting at Evening Land. The property is absolutely beautiful and has some of the best views we saw in the Willamette Valley. We ended up spending way more time there than we planned because the atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming.
What really stood out was the hospitality. Everyone was friendly, down to earth, and genuinely excited to talk about the wines without making the experience feel intimidating or overly formal. We learned a lot, had some great conversations, and never felt rushed.
The wines were fantastic across the board, especially the Pinot Noirs. You can tell there’s a lot of attention to detail in both the winemaking and the overall experience.
If you’re visiting Willamette Valley, Evening Land is absolutely worth a stop. Great wine, beautiful setting, and some of the best hospitality we experienced all weekend.“
“I will definitely be back“
“We went to L'Angolo Estate Winery during our trip to Oregon wine country. This is a fabulous winery with amazing wine. The staff member(Gaelen) was very welcoming and informative. We loved the tasting room, with its fireplace and huge open windows looking out onto the vines in the vineyard. The tasting included a fantastic charcuterie that had some nicely sourced, delicious cheese and meats. I would highly recommend this place.“
“As a travel agent I had some clients on a vacation. Another winery cancelled on them last minute and Bergstrom took them without hesitation. They had an amazing time! Thank you Nicole for accommodating them and making this a memorable trip!“
“We were lucky to have a wonderful back of house office/marketing person who wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather help us. The food was delicious, beets with strawberries and goat
Cheese and pink peppercorns and wonderful spring pea hummus and a great olive oil tasting. Wine selection was good and they also have a nature trail good to walk pups and me, after all the food.
My husband discovered an additional bakery cafe in the back and left with some wonderful shortbread type cookies, one lemon with lavender, I think, and one dipped in chocolate, and some sea salt caramel brownies. All delicious and also very pretty cozy place!“
“I am so glad we stopped by the tasting room in late March for a quick taste of 3 excellent wines and to enjoy the wonderful hospitality.
We highly recommend all three wines (see pics). On our next visit to the valley, we will plan for an extended tasting plus a visit to the nearby vineyards to enjoy the beauty and serenity.“
“A stop that definitely stands apart from some of the other tasting rooms in the area. Set in a converted pig barn connected to their wine operations, it offers a unique, down-to-earth atmosphere. Friendly furry companions roaming about only add to the charm, making for a memorable and distinctly different tasting experience.“
“A friend recommended we stop at Archery Summit and all of our group was happy we did. We had an outstanding tasting curated by our host. Several delicious pinot noirs that ended up being shipped back to Ohio. Beautiful facility, friendly people. Highly recommend“
“A family experience with a wine kicker!“
“Big open fields, spiralling hedges omfull of flowers, and a four legged cutie boy named Jax. These are the things that matter in committing to a bright and wonderful experience wine tasting. This place has all three. Also, give a sixth star to the wine, is good. Cheers!“
“Such a great afternoon at the tasting room. Daniel and Emma walked us through the white and red tastings of some very wonderful wines. Elena helped us decide on some excellent selections to take back to Florida with us. Wines fly free on most airlines. Yeah!“
“We had an absolute blast at Rain Dance Winery. First time to the Pacific Northwest. The setting was so stunning. Sitting out on the patio tasting their wines was total relaxation. Noah from the tasting room was knowledgeable, courteous, polite and fun.
We’d highly recommend.“
“Wasn’t originally on my list of stops, but I’m very glad I made the detour. The experience was hospitable, kind, and attentive, all wrapped in a relaxed, easygoing tasting environment. And it certainly doesn’t hurt having Mt. Hood as a backdrop, hard to beat that view while enjoying a glass.“
“Really nice estate wines. Jody does a great job talking through the history of the vineyards and describing the wines. If you're buying 6 bottles or more, consider signing up for the wine club for additional discounts and free shipping.“
“Had a lovely experience here. Giselle is a lovely server and made our experience phenomenal. She is super attentive, taught us everything about what makes their different wines unique. Definitely stop by if you're in the area if you want to have a taste of what Willamette Valley has to offer for wines.“

“Our son brought us to Lady Hill for the Sheepdog Classic which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had some delicious red wine and we had some scrumptious pulled pork sandwiches. To top it off we also enjoyed some Rose slushies that were so refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable with wonderful friendly staff and management. Thank you Lady Hill for a wonderful day. We really want to attend another Sheepdog competition. We were so impressed by the smart and quick dogs!“
