“Patrick is awesome! If you like amazing wines with a lot of heart and soul, this is where you want to get your wines. The wine tasting experience is attentive and personal, like visiting an old friend. If you ever watch the movie "bottle shock", this would be an oregon version of it.“

“Met a new server named Ally, and her energy and humor/personality, made this place so approachable. It is such a lovely tasting room, with great food, and making wines inclusive, is key. They have a nice indoor space for the hot days, and a great patio area for the nice OR weather. Food is great, but if you come in after 5 (they close at 6), most hot items are not available. Deviled eggs were different than my prior experience and refreshing on a hot day. Thanks Ally!“

“Stopped here on a trip to Oregon. They weren’t able to accomodate us for a tasting ($30 apiece) so we bought a bottle of the chilled Pinot Noir and warm bread with olive oil. Lovely grounds with a beautiful view! Walk to the gift shop and taste all the delicious olive oils and balsamic vinegars for free!“

“As a Hillsboro resident, I've been to a lot of tastings in Yamhill county. One piece of advice I'd give anyone, doing anything touristy is ask the locals where _they_ go. On our most recent trip we started out by pointing at a random vineyard on the map near our inn, then started asking for recommendations. Holloran was recommended no less than three times before we decided to give it a try on a Saturday afternoon.
I'm struggling to come up with the words. The wine is phenomenal, the staff is amazing. For the first time in my life I've decided to become a club member at a vineyard. Every wine they put in front of us during the tasting was unique, and delicious. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and charismatic. Plus, don't get me started on the salmon board...
Nothing else really matters does it? Great wine, good food, wonderful staff, and all at sensible prices? We will (obviously) be back.

“Gorgeous winery in the Dundee Hills! This place has some neat history and ethics as well! Scott gave my husband and I a private tour and tasting. He was VERY knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time and even became members! The Chardonnay, Imprint Pinot, and bubbly were some of our favorites!

“Cute spot with gorgeous views. Easy to book online with good hours. Has a very farmy feel. Our pourer was very friendly and has a long knowledge of the area. Sat outside, unsure if there’s indoor seating so come prepared. They have an awesome option for traveling with wine or just great for outdoors: a giant pouch, kinda like an adult capri sun with pour spout. If you’re looking for a place that feels like homey on the porch of a farm then this is the place! You could plan a whole day hopping to adjacent wineries easily.“

“We had a fantastic tasting with David this morning. He was very hospitable and personable. We don't normally love whites but enjoyed one of the best, probably the best pinot gris we ever had. He didn't push us to get 2 tastings and suggested a couple of other local wineries to try as well. We left with a case of wines, the variety of what we tried today. Thank you, David, we will return“
“We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.
This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!
The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.
We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!“
“Yesterday, I had the opportunity to photograph a proposal at this stunning vineyard. From the moment I opened my car door, I was greeted by one of the vineyard hosts, who kindly asked how I was doing and helped me find the perfect spot for the proposal shoot. The level of service and attention I received as a photographer was exceptional.
The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the hills and open landscapes. Every detail of the venue was pristine and well-maintained, making it incredibly easy to capture the essence of the place in my photos. The vineyard aisles were well-designed, making the entire photo session seamless and enjoyable.
In addition to the picturesque vineyard, they also have a lovely wine-tasting area where you can sample some of their finest wines. Their wine is truly some of the best I’ve ever tried.
If you’re looking for a picturesque location for your wedding or proposal photos, this vineyard is perfect. As a wedding photographer in Portland, I highly recommend this venue for its outstanding service, stunning scenery, and excellent wine.“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“We had a reservation for a tasting and tour for 5 people at Laurel Ridge for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We were promptly greeted by Lucas, the wine maker for Laurel Ridge, who not only created and served amazing wine but did so with a welcoming and joyous ambiance. The tour was nothing short of amazing, demonstrating the importance of Lucas and his family members' roles. Lucas shared the history of Laurel Ridge, highlighting his father-in-law, mother-in-law and his wife, and how they established in Carlton and Bend. As someone who typically does not choose to drink red wine, I will continue to recommend Laurel Ridge Pinot noir moving forward. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to enjoy wine that is incredible, we highly recommend Laurel Ridge. To add to the experience, Jax the vineyard doggy hangs out on the property and makes the experience that much more exciting.“
“We can't say enough good things about Natalie's! We had a barrel tasting and was really impressed with everything we tried. Jeff made the experience highly customizable, taking our initial thoughts on what we enjoy and giving us the chance to try different levels of tannin, oak, age, etc. We brought home a Barbera an Malbec and wish we could have grabbed more. Worth every penny!“

“We went for the name and left with a love for Dusky Goose. Ian and David were very knowledgeable and had so much great information the area and the wines! The poured the Pinot flight all at once which was nice to be able to try them at the same time. A very short distance off the “main drag”, but worth it! Make a reservation!“
“Sokol Blosser has a great story, beautiful view, and good wine. We ended up ordering a Butcher Board, and it was quite substantial. Every item on the board was delicious. The tasting is 4 wines, plus you get an extra pour upon arrival. Our experience was enjoyable, and we will return. It is right off 99W, so easy to find. If it's Friday or Saturday, wear your patience hat when leaving. Take your time getting on to 99W.“

“Have always wanted to go wine tasting for the scenic locations and the experience but as someone who doesn’t care for wine (the exception to that is sparkling wines) it never made sense until I discovered that there are sparkling wine specific tastings. After doing some research and seeing how highly rated ROCO’s sparkling wines are i decided to book our sparkling flight tasting with ROCO and they did not disappoint! Wife and I were able to sneak away and have a lovely date sipping on wonderful sparkling wines, delicious charcuterie and enjoying the beautiful grounds that are ROCO. We can’t wait to come back again“

“This was a 10 out of 10 experience. Mark, our host, picked us up from the car with a glass of wine and gave us a tour of the estate. He was very welcoming and explained the history and wines so well to us. The wines were all excellent. The highlight were a few ‘nibbles’ to go with the wine. The ingredients were mostly sourced from the estate’s garden. Everything was so high class but still warm and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough.“

Independent, family-owned, built from the ground up by the fruits of the family’s labor, without the benefits (or restrictions) of wealthy backing. We were treated to a tasting of amazing Pinot Noirs, a white Pinot Noir/Pinot Gris blend, a Riesling, and an outstanding Tempranillo/Pinot blend under the shade of a beautifully appointed canvas tent amid the rows of vines, cooled by refreshing breeze on a warm day as the sounds of relaxing and diverse Latino music played in the background. The authenticity of the place cannot be understated. Elena‘s connection to the land and to the entire process made for an intimate experience. The tribute to her family’s Mexican roots made for a singular experience among wineries not just in the Willamette Valley, but anywhere. Our tasting felt like a true privilege. We leave here proud members, and look forward to coming back again and again.“

“Lady Hill Winery is one of the best winery I have ever been too!
The service is amazing, I love to try different type of wine and they definitely provide a wide selection of wines. Some of my favorites are the chardonnay, Sparking rose, and Pinot Noir.
Highly recommend to anyone who was a more relax and family friendly winery.“
