“We were camped at Champoeg State Park. It is a short drive to St Paul and we needed a quick dinner. I ordered a dinner salad and ate a couple onion rings off my husband's plate. The dinner salad was crisp and fresh. My husband's burger was delicious and the onion rings were spot on. It was so good we went back again a couple of weeks later. Sally tends bar and waits on tables. She does a great job. We will return. Yummy!”

“I love this place! The beer selection is amazing. The ambience is fun, relaxed, very clean and casual. You could bring your own food or order from neighboring restaurants. The service is always superb. I moved here from out of state and I've only been in Newberg for about six months, but I love going to this place and running into my friends and colleagues from the community. Sometimes I pop in to get a little work done from my laptop or meet to up with friends to watch sports. You can tell the owner takes great pride and care of this fine establishment!”

While we thoroughly enjoyed the new (pared down) Sunshine menu, if it's your first time try the Mushroom Madness or Omakase which are still available and not to be missed. Dos Mundos was very pleasant to work with and able to accommodate our request to have them ready for pickup at 1:30pm on a few hours notice. The players felt they were very much superior and more flavorful to those they've eaten at famous chain restaurants.”

“Food was really good. Pastor is very flavorful. Homemade tortillas were tasty. Casa Birria was perfectly crunchy and consumé was very good. Med green salsa was flavorful, red was spicy with good flavor. Table had dried on food but that was the only negative. We did order a second round of tacos.”

“We absolutely adore this cute, quaint little bakery! Extremely attentive, helpful and friendly staff. All of the baked goods are so lovely we wanted one of each! Beautiful cupcakes, yummy chocolate chip cookies - tried both chewy and crunchy and we prefer: crunchy. To us, that is a perfect chocolate chip cookie. Almond poppyseed scone is pure bliss. Buttercream frosted sugar cookies are adorable. And my favorite: today, they had cake tops, imo the best part of a cake. I chose the Oreo cookie top and it didn't disappoint!A must stop when in Newberg and remember it's on a one way street and closes at 4pm!!”

“This place is super cool. Cream Northwest is inside of a sleepy bookstore tucked away in downtown Newberg. We tried three different ice creams; vanilla custard, wild blackberry and pistachio honey. “UPDATE: Sad to say that the food has gobe downhill since we firat started going there. For a $200.00 dinner it just fell flat. There was a chickpea "casserole" that turned out to be chickpeas kinda molded into a square with a bit of liquid and some seasoning. My partner had the duck loin and in my estimation was not even cooked. With that beautiful wood fired oven it should have been phenomenal. Maybe the lunch menu was better. We will try that soon. But Jory, find your fun again please.OMG. This is the perfect place for an upscale dinner or lunch. Everything is prepared with perfect detail. Best truffle fries in the valley. And drinks are top shelf. Try some of the homemade pickles and you will be hooked. What a beautiful place to go when the world has become too crazy”

“This is the second time we've eaten here, but it's been about 7 years since our last visit. The quality of the food was excellent, but I left hungry. We eat coursed meals at Michelin starred restaurants numerous times a year, and I rarely leave hungry. Had to go back to the Jory at the Allison Inn & Spa and order a plate of truffle fries because I was still hungry after dinner. Wine pairings were good, but a little boring. Either my expectations have been elevated in the last 7 years, or the Painted Lady has lost a step. Still one of the best spots in Oregon wine country.”

The music was a little rawkus for a family place. 90's grunge straying into Jimi Hendrix. We'll be back. The half chicken entree looks intriguing. If it's as good as the Zeppole desert it won't disappoint.”
