Best Ice Cream Ever! My husband & I walked from Champoeg park and discovered the Butteville Store, in which is the Half Pint Brothers restaurant. We were delighted in this "oasis" after our long 2 mile (one way) walk. We bought some nicely chilled bottled water and the hard ice cream made by the "Half Pint Brothers." It was Wonderful. We biked here while camping at Champoeg. This place is perfect. The sandwiches were delicious, and lots of ways to customize to meet picky eaters' needs. The homemade ice cream was so good, and so perfect for a hot afternoon. A really lovely backyard area to spread out on, and definitely dog friendly. The owners were so sweet, the historical pictures of the area inside the store helped us get a good sense of the area, and the bathrooms were very clean- always a plus when traveling...read full review
