“Trisaetum' tasting room is beautiful. We sat on the patio overlooking the valley. Service was leisurely which allowed us time to enjoy the wines and charcuterie plate while conversing with our friends. The white wines and rose were the best we tasted in Willamette out of 12 wineries visited. Highly recommend a visit here!”

“We've been huge fans of the Newbergundian for years. From luncheon dates to late afternoon refreshment, to glorious dinners, we've enjoyed it all. Today, however, was the first time we've gone for brunch. We were decidedly wrong when we'd thought this charming bistro couldn't get any better. Brunch was outstanding! Their hash offerings change, and today's was thick, smokey bacon hash with arugula, roasted potatoes, and an exquisite green sauce with just a hint of tarragon. The eggs were lightly poached, and the sourdough toast was well buttered and crisp. My husband's Benedict rested on a perfectly toasted English muffin, which so many restaurants neglect to do these days. The hollandaise couldn't have been any fresher, and it's consistency was not too gloppy or too thin . . . it was perfect. My husband's side of fruit was fresh and beautifully presented. The plates, in general, were works of culinary art, fragrant and pleasing to both the palate and the eyes. Beverage choices included alcoholic brunch standards, as well as non-alcoholic adult beverages that were creative, simple, and so refreshing. Even the coffee was outstanding. We have, yet another reason to love the Newbergundian!”

“This was my first time visiting a winery and I had an amazing time! We booked the vineyard tour and tasting experience. Learning about the winery, the grapes, the history of the estate, all of this really elevated the whole experience. Our guide and host was Justine, who did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and fun to hang out with for the tour. I highly recommend coming here for the tasting and splurge a little for the tour to learn even more! Thanks to Penner Ash, I may be a wine drinker now!”

“Rex Hill Vineyards is truly perfect. I went here to celebrate my anniversary and passing my somm test, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. I would name everyone that was so kind and knowledgeable but the list goes on and on, everyone that we came across that works there deserves a raise and a smooch. I can’t wait to move to Oregon simply so I can enjoy more time spent in that stunning environment. No qualms!!!”

“Never had bad or mediocre food here. Sushi is always amazing, but if you aren't feeling it, they have bento, yakisoba, udon, and ramen.

I was surprised by the ramen. Typically restaurants over salt the broth and it covers up the low quality. Izakaya's Tonkotsu was the opposite, just enough salt for flavor, but it allowed the flavor of the protein and broth to come through.”

“If you like tiny flavored balls in your mouth like I do, these Boba tea drinks are addicting with so many flavor options and combinations! They offer tons of yummy snacks; blended drinks are refreshing on warm summer days! My favorite is Pina Colada with strawberry bobas! My taste buds literally explode from the flavor. Boba Fett would approve after a long day of bounty hunting!The dark haired lady is especially kind and hardworking, she for sure deserves a raise! She’s always cute and friendly too, as she blends you creamy ball drinks with a smile. You can tell the owner cares about providing a consistent, quick, and yummy in my tummy experience. With so many food options at this community truck pod, Boba tea is always the perfect choice to wash down your meal hole with.Highly recommend your next family meal, hangout, date night, or refreshment pit stop at Bobablastic in the Newberg Food Truck Pod right in Historic Downtown!DOGS ARE ALLOWED!!!!!!!”

“A nice, laid-back dinner to top off wine tastings with friends! I got the Albacore Tuna while my BFF got the Pork Chop…absolutely AMAZING flavor and taste! The tuna was gently seared and the veggies enhanced this amazing flavor to perfection — not too much…not too little amounts of rice/veggies to complement this dish! The service took a bit longer than expected, as we were there for just over 2 hours (an hour of waiting for our dinner after placing our orders — and it wasn’t really busy during 6pm on a Tuesday evening). But the vibes and smells coming from the open kitchen made up for it! (Side note, I did inform an employee twice to refill the restroom with toilet paper but he never did — I would say the housekeeping there needs to be a bit more attentive — overall clean restrooms though.) I would be interested in tasting other dishes from the menu if I was back in town in the future!”

“A shout out to Graham at Stumptown Taps! We had a group event there last night and it went super smooth. Reserving tables was easy. Although they don't serve food, you can bring in your own, or there are great options in the same parking lot (and some will bring your order to you -Taco Fuego does for sure) Their beer selection is great, and has unique options you don't see in stores. A big perk for beer nerds like me. Convenient for a group as you order individually at the counter, so everyone can close out when they want without the complication of splitting bills at the table. Also, a comfortable atmosphere to go solo too. If you haven't stopped in yet, you should! I will definitely be back!”

“This place has been recommended by my friends several times and I finally had the chance to visit it last weekend. The experience was great. We were greeted by friendly staffs and explained in detail with the items we were interested in and how to cook them. We took penne pasta and cacio pepe sauce back home and the ingredients were top-notch and fresh that you can taste. Would definitely come back for more.”

“Bubble Bear was a great find on a random stop in Newberg. Thought we just getting bubble tea and smoothies, and was pleasantly surprised by a variety of sweet and savory waffle combinations. Resisted the chicken and waffles and went for the bacon and waffles which came with sausage and sliced avocado. The waffles were perfect: fluffy and semisweet. The ladies were super friendly and we appreciated the great service. Will definitely remember this place.”

“Spent a few days in Willamette valley tasting around the area. Have to say that although not the fanciest, Patricia Green was our favorite tasting experience. Carolyn was our guide for the vineyard tour, she was so friendly and knowledgeable, but also really seemed to care about wine and the family story of Patricia Green. Got to do some really interesting comparative tastings between vintages of same block, and different soil types for same varietal clones. All of the staff seemed to really embrace the family story and the way they approached winemaking. Highly recommended.”

“Our "koffee klatch" group was going to visit a small creamery just outside of Newberg, so we "made a morning of it." We met at the Coffee Cottage for a quick nibble and - obviously - a caffeinated beverage. This was one busy establishment! Both the walk-in and drive-thru portions were doing a land office business. They even sold out of some of their menu items (!). Fortunately, other options were available. The staff kept a very cheerful attitude throughout the hustle and bustle, an outward sign they work well as a team. We will definitely return.”

“Natalie’s Estate Winery is one of our all time favorites! We have been enjoying this stellar boutique winery for years and have never had anything less than a top notch experience. They produce a range of varietals, both reds and whites, and they are all excellent. There is always the opportunity to interact with winemakers, making the experience educational as well as enjoyable. The hospitality shown to all by Boyd, Cassandra and Jeff makes us feel welcome and valued.

We are Cellar Club members and through the interaction we have had with other members, we have forged new friendships. Additionally, every time we have taken guests with us they, too, have joined. This is due to the personal attention and overall experience, not to mention the outstanding wines!

When looking for a tasting experience I strongly recommend Natalies’s Estate Winery. Make an appointment to visit them in their charming tasting room-you will not be disappointed!”

“I had out of town guest and we took them to August Sellers. Tom (owner) was extremally knowledgeable and gave lots of useful information about types of wines and answered all our questions. He also took us on detailed tour of the the facility and showed entire wine making process. At no point we felt rushed.Wines are priced very reasonably and we ended up buying 4 bottles :-)I would definitely go there again in future.”

The Human Bean Drive Through Cafe is sparkling clean: ❤ I had to long-neck to get a look inside from my vehicle window. ?No beverage spills or gunk at pick-up windows as seen in various other popular name drive-through cafes. I drove across the USA & Canada in my 2012, manual stick shift, glass-roof black Mustang in 2023, and frequently utilized drive-through cafes. All said, now back to home base... the Newberg, OR Human Bean outlet has outstanding staff who are experts at whipping-up the best beverages (hot & cold) and serves a super line of healthy (my opinion) snacks...all served with great humor and smiles!?”

“Whitney is the kindest barista I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her americanos are the absolute best in town, always the perfect drinking temperature. When we moved a couple years ago, I had to find a new coffee stand and this was recommended to me by a coworker whose husband had been going for years and loved it. I’m so glad that I took that advice. I often need a second cup of coffee in the morning during the dark months, and after two years of seasonal attendance on my part, Whitney still remembers exactly how I like my drink. 11/10 would recommend!!”

“This is definitely a "hidden gem." The food was delicious, the soups were full of flavor as were the main coarse meals. When we first arrived we weren't certain it was going to be worth trying out as there was no one in sight! I stepped into the lounge and asked the bartender if the restaurant part was open for dinner. She (the bartender/ waitress) came right over and took our orders. She was wonderful. The food came quickly and the amount of food was unbelievable! The lady that waited on us did an excellent job even covering the lounge and restaurant. There were a lot of to go orders but we were the only ones to eat in. Will definitely ? be back again!”

“On our way to the coast, my family and I stopped in here for dinner, and I was immediately impressed with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive.

The food was amazing...my wife and I both had the daily special: a spicy chicken teriyaki bowl that had a lovely heat to it, the expertly grilled chicken and some of the tastiest crab Rangoon's I've ever had. (The Thai basil is a fantastic touch!) My kids loved it, too, which is an amazing feat, all things considered... ;)

“We came from out of state, just passing through. I’m so thankful we stopped here! We are traveling with our 19 month old son and often forget that some places don’t like little kids around, even though he’s pretty good. When you first walk in here, it’s so nice and there’s a bar area and I felt a little nervous about being there with a toddler. We were immediately greeted by a young waitress and a man whom I guess to be the manager or owner. He was so kind. When we were seated, he greeted us and our son. He talked to him and asked us about him, immediately offered us a highchair (you’d be surprised how many places don’t do that) and spoke to us about his 4 year old. The waitress mentioned she was new, you’d never know. She was so kind and quick. Phenomenal service! Both things we ordered (steak ranchero and Eduardo’s dinner) were even better! And it came very quick to the table (also a perk with toddlers!). The chips and salsa were clearly fresh. The inside was beautiful and so was downtown. It was an incredible experience that I wish we had back home!”

Parking: Handicap parking has a sloped sidewalk next to it, which is very handy for wheelchairs and people with mobility issues. Most places do not consider this when they put the ramps and sloped sidewalks out of the way, like an afterthought”

“Food was good. Egg flower soup was a little weird with noodles in it. General taos, orange chicken and lemon chicken were delicious and there bbq pork and hot mustard were as well. The mustard was a little runny but so hot and good”

“Most excellent. Just a great burger place. The kind of place you'd avoid if you wanted a mushroom raspberry quinoa black bean patty burger with jalapeno mango chocolate chutney topping. But if you just want a classic burger with awesome onion rings and a tasty shake, not a bad option.”
