While we thoroughly enjoyed the new (pared down) Sunshine menu, if it's your first time try the Mushroom Madness or Omakase which are still available and not to be missed. We make it a point to come twice a year and always look forward to the next time. Levi is a skilled and personable sommelier and Chef is outstanding at his craft.”

“Small, friendly, delicious, wonderful little patio that overlooks a vineyard with fireside warmth - the hosts were welcoming and it was a very personal and friendly experience- we prefer the family friendly atmosphere over the big corporate drive-up buses experience. We did white - had the Pinot Gris and Chardonnay- dry, not oaky , vibrant. We really enjoyed our visit. And we will come back.”

“We were surprised and excited to find a high-end restaurant a block from our hotel. We jumped on the chance to go and were definitely rewarded for it. The tasting menu was great with the wine pairings. The dishes really encouraged taking a 'perfect bite' to make the magic happen. There were many interesting dishes presented in novel ways and flavor combinations to tickle even my fickle palette.The theme of the food was definitely a mushroom, root vegetable, 'earthy,' umami forward experience. The wines were perfectly paired with the dishes and had a great variety, even including local favorites. If there is anything to caution over, make sure you get a reservation at least a day in advance and know that it is pricey. If you love the fine dining experience and wish to splurge, please give it a go. You won't be disappointed. This is on-par with some of the Michelin starred restaurants we've eaten at. It's the real deal.”

“Fantastic New American restaurant in Oregon wine country. We walked in for brunch at 12:30 on a Sunday in April and sat at the bar. We got incredible service from their friendly bartender Steven.The double smash cheeseburger and the chicory Caesar salad were two of the best versions we’ve had in a long time, and their homemade Oreos and milk were an unforgettable dessert. Their orange cassis gin & tonic was a memorably great take on a G&T.Even better, most ingredients are sourced from the restaurant’s own farm.”

Don't skip the arancini, it is masterful, and also incorporates seasonal special inspiration in addition to the standard tried and true. The short ribs with polenta will have you comforted, and tearing up at the same time! I can give my highest recommendation for this restaurant! Chef Jeremy has some very simple and delicious direction, with truly amazing creativity, and with a relatively tight space he manages to crank out busy service with what appears to be "ease". The service is always superb. I moved here from out of state and I've only been in Newberg for about six months, but I love going to this place and running into my friends and colleagues from the community. The players felt they were very much superior and more flavorful to those they've eaten at famous chain restaurants.”

“I have eaten there twice and plan on becoming a regular. Both times the food was outstanding and the wait staff excellent. Awesome ambience good for lunch meetings or casual dinners. Full bar, good beer selection. I did not see it they have wines but sure they must. I had Chana Masala and garlic naan. Very tasty. The naan came out steaming and I ordered more half way through the Chana masala which they had out in minutes.”

“We actually didn't eat here but the wines...wow, they are incredible! Some of our favorite pinot noirs right now and they're on 2021's so have lots of room for aging. Highly recommend them for this as well as their service and knowledgable staff!”
