“Omg you just have to go there. After a couple traditional wineries we stumbled into this place. It was a fantastic treat. I recommend making reservations and bringing some friends. You will not be disappointed. You will be welcomed into a super comfortable setting. It’s almost like enjoying a glass of wine at home- if home is trendy, decorated will both class and humor and a friendly knowledge person is there to serve you delicious but unpretentious wine.“

“Very immersive, intimate wine tasting and lunch. Jared, one of the owners,, grew up in a family of renowned winemakers (Beaux Freres). The setting is spectacular only surpassed by the wine and the ambience. I would highly highly recommend a visit.“

“Did a tasting here a week or so on a cold and wet Thursday in the off season. I’m in the trade, so it was nice to be able to talk with Ken and to get to know more about the winery so that I can add them to my schedule for clients in 2022 (I’m a Wine Guide & Driver for a Portland based company). They wines here are very nice and reasonably priced and the view is spectacular (and will be even more so next spring & summer). “This winery was absolutely amazing. From the at home vibe, the gorgeous view, and the taste of the wine, we could not have asked for a better experience. Tenise was incredible, telling us all about the history of the vineyard and explaining all there was to know about the wine, she made our trip and experience one to remember. Maxwell was also amazing, telling us his personal history as a family member and walking us through the vineyard and spending time with us. if you want beautiful views, delicious wine and amazing people, this is the place to go! “Was able to finally re-visit this winery that I hadn't been to since before covid. Earl was awesome and knowledgeable. I also had fun talking to some of the other tables that came to visit their lovely smaller tasting room that looks Northeast I believe and gives you a great vineyard view. Some very nice wines and reasonably prices. Strongly recommend them.“

“We're spending a week in Oregon and have visited about 30 wineries so far. Purple Hands is easily our favorite.

Maggie made the whole experience. She knows everything about the winery and its wines, and she's also one of the kindest, most welcoming hosts we've met. She even recommended other wineries for specific wines, including their neighbor Latchkey, whose owners are close with the Purple Hands team. Hearing how collaborative and supportive the wineries here are with each other was one of the coolest parts of our trip.

The wine is incredible. The view and the calm, peaceful feel of the place are unmatched anywhere we've been. As we were leaving, Maggie even brought us down to the vineyards and clipped off a vine of Pinot grapes for us to try!!

“My husband introduced me to Torii Mor during my first ever wine tasting experience back in 2008. Since then, we've come on and off for the last 18 years (with some time off during our early parenting years, as well as during the height of the pandemic). We now try to visit about once-a-quarter. The thing I love most about the winery is that it's the kind of place you can go to sip a glass of wine, or do a tasting, in relative peace and quiet - this is not a place where the influencer crowd visits. I don't drink often, but when I do, I prefer a glass of Torii Mor. Over the decades they've managed to create consistently good wines across all their varieties (special mention to their Old Vine Chardonnay... there's something magical about it, as it's the only Chardonnay I like).

You can't beat the views, either: whether it's sitting out on the back deck and looking out at the Willamette Valley during sunny days, watching the foliage change and fall during the autumn, or cozying up in their indoor tasting room during the rainy season, the location high up in the hills offers something year-round. The mood, ambiance, and wine all make for an experience where you can get clarity to a question that's been on your mind, or have a good conversation (philosophical or otherwise) with a friend or loved one. And if you ever want to talk wine, you can always find good company with Nicolas (Torii Mor's resident wine expert).“

“On a beautiful Oregon Monday afternoon hubs and I traveled to Dundee for a wine tasting at the Aubaine Wine Lounge. Troy was our host/ambassador for the afternoon - welcoming and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the Tasting Room decor - clean-line chic and elegant with inviting comfortable corner couches and chairs, just right for enjoying wine and quiet conversation.

We tasted the sparkling wines from Lytle-Barnett .. they met our palates perfectly - textured and complex, crisp - with some sweet surprises. Blanc de Blanc - always a favorite and they do it well. Brought some home! The Aubaine Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs are excellent and worth a second visit and a bottle or two for home! Food can be ordered from the Red Hills Market for you - nice selection - but you MUST try the Duffle Fries - so decadent we ate entire order - probably a pound of potatoes..LOL! Troy provided some insight into some of the expansion - outdoor seating and a fire pit - perfect for those cool Fall evenings. We will be back!“

“Loved visiting La Biblioteca’s tasting room! It’s absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably maintained. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed.

The wines were spectacular—elegant, intensely aromatic, with beautiful minerality and balance. Honestly, I enjoyed La Biblioteca’s Pinots more than some of Oregon’s much more famous producers.

I truly hope more people discover this hidden gem. And before you leave, be sure to ask for a few of their adorable stickers—they’re such a fun little souvenir!“
