“I went to Dobbes with a group of girlfriends for a friend’s bachelorette party. We had the BEST time. Not only was all of the wine delicious (and we all ended up buying a lot!) but the experience was top notch. Shout out to Kevin for being so enthusiastic, knowledgeable & punny! He truly made our day! We went to a few wineries after Dobbes & none of them measured up! I will definitely be back!“
“We had such a fantastic experience at Winderlea Vineyard. My group of college friends (Villanova) are visiting the area…this was one of the highlights of our trip. The winery has a boutique feel. intimate, relaxed, in a beautiful setting. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Employees Scott and Stacey were outstanding. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with. We also met Anna, the owner. She was warm, engaging, and it was clear she wanted to create a great experience for guests. If visiting the Willamette valley I would highly recommend a visit. We learned Anna’s father was a big Villanova basketball fan so we took a photo with her which is included.“
“Omg you just have to go there. After a couple traditional wineries we stumbled into this place. It was a fantastic treat. I recommend making reservations and bringing some friends. You will not be disappointed. You will be welcomed into a super comfortable setting. It’s almost like enjoying a glass of wine at home- if home is trendy, decorated will both class and humor and a friendly knowledge person is there to serve you delicious but unpretentious wine.“
“While visiting Oregon for the first time, we stopped in The Dusky Goose on the way to Eugene for the marathon. We did not have a reservation and we were warmly welcomed! We sat on the patio and enjoyed beautiful weather and view. Scott was our host and did great telling us the history and answering all our questions. The wine is delicious and one person in our group joined the club. Scott fixed us up with glasses and hats and additional wine for the rest of our trip. My bottle made it safely back to Oklahoma:) We loved the area and highly recommend taking the time to visit The Dusky Goose!!“
“Had a lot of fun doing a tasting at Knudsen Vineyards. The wine was wonderful and we enjoyed the charcuterie we purchased. The wine was served in beautiful Reidel red wine stemware. We were also given a bonus tasting and a chocolate to enjoy. The tasting fee is waived if you purchase two bottles during your visit or join their wine club.“
“Stopped here on a whim and this was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to stumble upon in wine country! Small, family-owned, excellent wine from local vineyards.
David was so hospitable and informative (and funny!) and the wines were interesting and delicious. We were particularly impressed by the white and rose offerings that were far more complex than you sometimes see. The pinot noir was also lovely.
Reasonable tasting fee waived with 2 bottle purchase. Highly recommend!“
“The facility and vineyards were beautiful. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He told us about the history of the vineyard and all the nuances that go with growing wine in this region. I guess we are middle of the road wine drinkers and this winery is not the middle of the road winery. High cost, in our opinion, for tasting ($50 per person) and higher cost for their bottles of wine ($40 - $130 per bottle). Most were on the higher end. We lived the vineyard, we loved our host, it was just at a much higher cost for these middle of the road wine drinkers.“
“I walked in and told Earl I was industry and he gave me an amazing tasting of most of the wines and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the wines. The Pinots are soft and fruity and the Rieslings are quintessentially German in character. Delicious and very affordable. 10/10 would come again.“
“Elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Stunning view.“
“As a travel agent I had some clients on a vacation. Another winery cancelled on them last minute and Bergstrom took them without hesitation. They had an amazing time! Thank you Nicole for accommodating them and making this a memorable trip!“
“Purple Hand Vineyards was a standout stop for both wine quality and genuine hospitality. The tasting was relaxed yet informative, and the staff made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just visitors passing through. The wines were beautifully structured and approachable, showcasing the Dundee Hills exceptionally well. It’s the kind of place that balances professionalism with warmth, and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience.“
“Great staff and service. Rachael is our favorite host and never disappoints.“
“Wasn’t originally on my list of stops, but I’m very glad I made the detour. The experience was hospitable, kind, and attentive, all wrapped in a relaxed, easygoing tasting environment. And it certainly doesn’t hurt having Mt. Hood as a backdrop, hard to beat that view while enjoying a glass.“
“Great wines, so so tasting room. There’s nothing special about this tasting room: small, noisy, lack of decor, gravel parking lot next to the main road. However, their wines are superb! I don’t even like ‘bold reds’ but I like these. complex and balanced. In my opinion they are worth more than their reasonable price. The staff is friendly..no putting on airs here. They were also not sticklers about the number of people in our group that got free tastings for the amount of wine we purchased. Even if you go to other wineries for the vineyards and ambiance, stop here to stick up on really good wines!“
“Really nice estate wines. Jody does a great job talking through the history of the vineyards and describing the wines. If you're buying 6 bottles or more, consider signing up for the wine club for additional discounts and free shipping.“
“Had a lovely experience here. Giselle is a lovely server and made our experience phenomenal. She is super attentive, taught us everything about what makes their different wines unique. Definitely stop by if you're in the area if you want to have a taste of what Willamette Valley has to offer for wines.“
“We had a delightful visit with Deb in the tasting room. She was fun, knowledgeable and interesting. As a bonus for us, as she lived in Cincinnati for three years, she made us very welcome. We would absolutely recommend this gem of a vineyard. The wines are incredible.“
“Great wines at a great price!“
“Great knowledge and personal attention..“
“Cool people, quick unload, place is tight to back into off a busy street with only one dock. The driveway is not even and you need to put your tandems to the rear once in position. Cars will get right up on your blindside so be careful backing.“
“We had seven Willamette Valley wine tastings in three days, and Day Wines far surpassed the rest. The tasting room is warm and cozy on a rainy day, the wines were excellent, and Brianne and Layla were friendly, informative, and professional. We left feeling as if we’d made a few friends!“
“The whole staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Monique goes above and beyond and you can tell she really enjoys what she does.!!“
“beautiful wines, great people and spectacular views“
“Amazing wine, beautiful winery and knowledgeable and friendly staff!“
“Out for a birthday tasting and started here. Always a great place to start. Low key, beautifully different with a zen vibe nestled in the trees with deck views. Excellent, friendly staff and priced right. If you enjoy peaceful Japanese inspiration check out Tori Mor. They welcome outside food as they only sell bagged chips. Enjoy!“
“Fast in and out However Google route was terrible directions ? I5 dont take exit 249 thru Salem its a maze of small busy streets ? Take hwy 221 West to hwy 18 ext off I5 in woodburn by old TA truck stop west go's straight to parks dr 7 miles tops easy ...“
“Very charming spot - quality rooms with nice decks and fantastic views of the wine yards and the valley. Very helpful staff. The grounds are peaceful and perfect for winding down for a couple of nights.“

“These wines are SPECIAL. Not only was the space amazing, but the intention and craft of each wine blew us away. The experience was crafted and personal - if you are thinking about a trying a vineyard in the area…don’t mess around…try Rodeo Hills.“
