About Dusky Goose

The Dusky Goose, located in Oregon, is a classic stop for Oregon Pinot Noir. The tasting room has jaw-dropping views of the Dundee Hills valley, and on a clear day, guests can even see Mt. Jefferson. The venue is beautiful, and the tasting culture is beautifully done. Guests are warmly welcomed, even without a reservation, and receive a property portfolio with information about their four vineyards. The wines are delicious, with classic, elegant Pinot and Chardonnay. The tasting ends on the Chardonnay, which is a beautiful presentation of a savory/sweet baking spice. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly, never rushed or annoyed. Hosts share the history of the vineyard and wines while answering all questions. The bottles are made for aging, so they don’t open young vintages for tastings. Guests highly recommend taking the time to visit for the wine, the views, and the incredible service.

Hands down the best wine/vineyard/tasting experience I’ve ever had! Stunning vineyard views and the most gorgeous tasting room. Steve led me on a vineyard walk and was so knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and winemaking in general. Got to taste some truly remarkable wines and left with some bottles I will treasure in my cellar and around the table with friends. The whole team was so welcoming and kind and made it an unforgettable start to my Willamette Valley...read full review
While visiting Oregon for the first time, we stopped in The Dusky Goose on the way to Eugene for the marathon. We did not have a reservation and we were warmly welcomed! We sat on the patio and enjoyed beautiful weather and view. Scott was our host and did great telling us the history and answering all our questions. The wine is delicious and one person in our group joined the club. Scott fixed us up with glasses and hats and additional wine for the rest of our trip. My bottle...read full review
