Ghost Hill Cellars Winery • $$

“What a beautiful tasting room and delicious wine! This was a refreshing experience after visiting some more expensive and upscale wineries in Willamette Valley--of which there are many--but don't think Ghost Hill has inferior wine. We were blown away by the rich, vibrant pinots served to us during out tasting. Cam was a wonderful host and explained flavors and varietals in ways I had never heard before. Definitely worth including in your Willamette wine adventures!“

Dominio IV Wines Winery •
11570 NE Intervale Rd, Carlton

“Imagine strolling in, saying you have a reservation under your name, and then one of the team members going “oh my gosh, you’re Darcy!” And running to grab a bottle of champagne (that our friend had coordinated in advance). It started our visit here on such a fun note, and that level of excitement and charm sustained our entire visit. This is a special place. The home is set up so everyone does their wine tasting very privately. The team members are so thoughtful and enthusiastic in how they present the wine, and the wine itself is amazing. I love the imagination series!! We will always come back here and recommend!“

“A Gem in Carlton: Flaneur WineryFrom the moment you step into Flaneur Winery's tasting room in Carlton, Oregon, you're not just entering a winery; you're embarking on a multifaceted wine experience that transcends the ordinary. As a wine club member for over a year, I've had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand the unique offerings that set Flaneur apart in the rich tapestry of Willamette Valley's wine scene.Flaneur doesn't just serve wine; they curate experiences. From the carefully crafted wine maker's dinners that showcase the versatility and depth of their vintages, to the engaging and unexpected events like Taro Card readings, there's always something new and exciting to look forward to. These gatherings are not just about wine; they're about building community, sharing stories, and creating unforgettable moments. The heart and soul of Flaneur, however, is its people. The staff's passion for wine and genuine hospitality is palpable, with Mindy herself leading by example. Always positive and upbeat, Mindy ensures every visit is memorable, even during the quieter seasons when the valley slows down. This level of personal touch and warmth makes Flaneur not just a winery, but a home away from home for wine lovers. The wines themselves are exceptional, embodying the richness and diversity of Oregon's terroir. Each bottle tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and a deep respect for nature, qualities that resonate deeply with those who appreciate fine wine. It's this unwavering commitment to quality that makes Flaneur not only one of my top-rated wineries but also a frequent recommendation to my clients. In conclusion, Flaneur Winery is more than just a destination; it's an experience, a community, and a testament to the beauty of Oregon wine. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or new to the world of wine, Flaneur welcomes you with open arms and a glass ready to be filled with something truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to anyone seeking to explore the best that Willamette Valley has to offer.Daniel Hyde“
