“Friendly local sports bar. Above average food w/ great specials! One of the few places of its kind that has halibut fish and chips. Service is very good. As expected the noise level can be high in the evening, but they do have a quieter booth area away from the bar if you want.“

“It's been a while I've been here and their menu has changed which is understandable. I had their bacon burger and I loved the previous version. The bun was over toasted vs soft. I think next time I'll request no toasting. It won't stop me from coming back because this place has the best customer service and the owner and daughter are great. “It was so good I didn't even take pictures of it before I started digging in. The toast was perfect (weird place to start, I know, but I saved it for last, so it's freshest in my memory). Nice variety of little smuckers jellies. Hashbrowns were crispy on the top, my favorite texture for hashbrowns. Eggs were scrambled perfectly, not runny and not overcooked. Corned beef hash was good, I like mine a bit crisper than it was, but that's personal preference and not reflection on the cook. Music was on point.Service was really friendly and thoughtful.We walked in on accident, we were following Google maps to another restaurant nearby and didn't pay attention to where the place was, but it worked out. ?“
“We came for the crispy chicken wings - and were not disappointed! The beer selection is also very good, though very heavy on the IPA and Pale Ale side of the spectrum (as everywhere in the PDX metro these days). There were also lagers, brown ales, porters, and a few sour options and cider options. There was even a CBD non-alcohol option. The atmosphere is brought down a little bit by all the hard surfaces amplifying the sound level. There's a single bartender (Nathan poured our beers and took our food order), so they stay busy.My wife and I tried the salt & pepper with veggies wings - think pepper salted squid, but with chicken instead. We chose bone-in, which we prefer - but boneless 'wings' are also available. We also tried the Dragon Dust dry rub and the Thai dry rub (it had bits of fresh cilantro). Everything was delicious. We made immediate plans to come back the following week, and bring friends! The only downside is that the kitchen shuts down at 9 PM (even on a Friday night!), so don't expect late night snacking.“

“Our whole family loves Pizza Schmizza and we order it often. The last time we ordered, the cheese pizza came with regular crust when it was supposed to be gluten free. This wasn’t their fault, something got messed up when I was ordering online. When I called to let them know that we got the wrong crust and my daughter has Celiac Disease and couldn’t eat the regular, they sent out a new pizza right away. Not only is their pizza the best around, but their service is phenomenal. Thank you!!!“
“We arrived at 10:30 PM and were soon attended to by a friendly young woman who efficiently saw to the frequent needs of all 20 of us customers. Piping hot and scratch made tenders and calamari were plated and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering each time. I could not leave without complaining the young woman and the kitchen!“

“I'm not normally in this area, but I happened to be driving through on Easter Sunday. My friend and I were looking for a local (not a chain) place to stop for breakfast. Generations popped up on the map, so we tried it out.The food was tasty and the portions were filling. The coffee tasted fresh, not burnt, or stale. Our waiter was friendly and gave us his opinion about the best things on the menu. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stop back by.“

“Nice, clean local place. Unfortunately, karaoke KJ insists on playing music videos between singers, sometimes as many as three videos, (ten minutes) with singers waiting. Weird. Like trying to start the party as a DJ, when everyone expects a KJ. Not great if you want to sing. Just be aware coming in. However, the KJ has the sound dialed in and it sounds great.“

“Came to Home Turf for the first time last night with a karaoke group that visits many venues/bars all over the city, including Dante’s for live band karaoke every week. We were really impressed with KJ Milo. Great voice and energy himself, and manages a list of singers at least 30 long with professionalism and efficiency. He used the board to help singers sound good, something many KJs don’t do, or know how to do.He was even gracious enough to sing a duet with me, which let me sing a song I love.It was very crowded, so we left after 1/2 songs. With such interest, and a great KJ like this, Home Turf should run karaoke more than 1 night a week. The 8pm start time is an advantage, but you could pack folks in with an even earlier start time, esp. on weekends.Thanks for a fun night… oh and we all had burgers, which were really good!“

Coyote's hosted an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Very traditional turkey or ham with all the fixings. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the company of some of our good friends and met some new ones, too.
