“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“As long-time fans and passport holders of McMenamins, we’ve visited quite a few of their locations over the years, but this was actually one we hadn’t managed to check out until now 😊. We stopped by fairly late in the evening for a late dinner, so the place was a bit quieter than usual.

The servers were friendly and polite, although they seemed a little distracted and possibly busy. For example, after our appetizer arrived we still hadn’t received water, utensils, or napkins, which made things a bit awkward at first 🍽️. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was noticeable.

For our meal, we ordered one more classic-style dish and one of their specialty options. The food was definitely good and satisfying, though compared to some other McMenamins locations we’ve visited, it didn’t quite stand out as much. Still, the quality was solid and enjoyable 👍.

The atmosphere felt a bit more low-key than what we usually experience at McMenamins spots, but considering the late hour and what looked like a slightly understaffed team, it made sense. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re looking for a relaxed meal with friendly staff and above-average pub-style food 🍔🍻.

If someone is trying McMenamins for the first time, I might suggest visiting one of their more iconic locations first for the full experience. But if you already enjoy the brand and just want a solid, casual stop, this spot definitely gets the job done 👍✨.“

“From Silverton, Oregon and I went hunting in eastern Oregon and I harvested an amazing black bear I looked around for a butcher and nobody was taking any wild game. I called the meeting place and they said they were in drop offs were from from 10 AM to 2 o’clock p.m. I was instantly met with an amazing staff that was knowledgeable, kind and very friendly. I ended up meeting a manager that ran their wild game department, which I have to say that woman is just absolutely amazing with information. Very knowledgeable answered every question I had honestly I was a little hesitant about going all the way to Portland area for a butcher, but I have to say there is no finer butcher team in Oregon that I honestly can say I would rather use other than the meeting place I will continue to use them for all of my game processing absolutely amazing team great greetings just an absolute nice people to deal with most booster shops are very blunt. Some can say not very friendly straight to the point and bye-bye not this place this place is energetic very friendly, respectful kind very knowledgeable. You will not find a better butcher shop in Oregon from what I have seen and I have seen just about every butcher shop we have in Oregon. These guys are top notch if you’ve never left a butcher shop completely smiling and having a great experience you should take the drive to Hillsborough and try these guys. Absolutely amazing. “We visited Copper River for the third time tonight, and this experience was completely different from our previous visits. Honestly, I usually do not give places three chances, but after speaking with a manager previously and being invited back, we decided to give it one more try.

The last two visits were rough. We waited over 15 minutes before being greeted after being seated, our order was forgotten, and the overall experience felt disconnected. Both times we were seated in the bar area, which may have contributed to the inconsistent service.

Tonight completely turned things around.

Destinee was outstanding from the moment we sat down. She greeted us quickly, stayed attentive throughout the meal, kept drinks up, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The service felt professional, relaxed, and organized. She honestly saved the experience for us and restored confidence in coming back again.

The calamari was crispy and flavorful, the steaks were cooked properly, and the overall timing of the meal was much smoother than our previous visits.

One suggestion: if possible, avoid seating guests in the bar area when the restaurant is slower, especially if staffing coverage is limited there. The difference in service tonight compared to our previous bar seating experiences was night and day.

“It was our first visit to the Oswego Grill. We were greeted immediately and asked if we preferred the bar seating, since there were customers before us. We took their advice and sat near a door. Our server came immediately and asked for drink orders. When he came with the drinks, he asked us if we wanted to change tables, since the door was sending a draft at us. We took his suggestion and felt comfortable immediately.
Our dinner was delicious.
Medium rare Fillet steak and an order of fish and chips. We will certainly be back again for great food, service, and atmosphere!“

“Me and my wife have been coming in to Davidsons FrostTop since it reopened, and i will have to say the steak bites, potato skins, are fantastic. so far we have yet to have bad food here. I also have had their hamburgers. they let me custom order my hamburger the way I want it. I would recommend stopping in and give them a try. they also have adult drinks which is a nice change. super friendly staff and great atmosphere. we will of course come back.“

“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“I always enjoy Oswego Grill. I brought my friend and her teenage daughter there. My friend was celebrating her 65th Birthday. The meal was great and the Farrell's Banana Split was a special birthday treat! The only ding in my mind is how dark it is inside - day or evening.
