“We had a fabulous dinner last night at the Vintage Room. The views were stunning. Our server, Mariah, was THEE best. Food was delicious, loved the variety of options. Drinks were great. And dessert was super yummy. Thanks for making my boyfriends birthday special, we can’t wait to start making this a regular date night spot.“

“I had a fantastic Spanish coffee here on a cold fall afternoon.
I also had a really good pulled-pork nacho that was plenty big for one person. Their bbq pork was a sweeter style, and tender meat which is the real test of good meat. Nachos were very cheesy, again… very much appreciated.
My server was very good and very friendly.
I will return to try their wings, and also their zuppa toscana soup special on Thursdays.“

“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

“As long-time fans and passport holders of McMenamins, we’ve visited quite a few of their locations over the years, but this was actually one we hadn’t managed to check out until now 😊. We stopped by fairly late in the evening for a late dinner, so the place was a bit quieter than usual.

The servers were friendly and polite, although they seemed a little distracted and possibly busy. For example, after our appetizer arrived we still hadn’t received water, utensils, or napkins, which made things a bit awkward at first 🍽️. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was noticeable.

For our meal, we ordered one more classic-style dish and one of their specialty options. The food was definitely good and satisfying, though compared to some other McMenamins locations we’ve visited, it didn’t quite stand out as much. Still, the quality was solid and enjoyable 👍.

The atmosphere felt a bit more low-key than what we usually experience at McMenamins spots, but considering the late hour and what looked like a slightly understaffed team, it made sense. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re looking for a relaxed meal with friendly staff and above-average pub-style food 🍔🍻.

If someone is trying McMenamins for the first time, I might suggest visiting one of their more iconic locations first for the full experience. But if you already enjoy the brand and just want a solid, casual stop, this spot definitely gets the job done 👍✨.“

“From Silverton, Oregon and I went hunting in eastern Oregon and I harvested an amazing black bear I looked around for a butcher and nobody was taking any wild game. I called the meeting place and they said they were in drop offs were from from 10 AM to 2 o’clock p.m. I was instantly met with an amazing staff that was knowledgeable, kind and very friendly. I ended up meeting a manager that ran their wild game department, which I have to say that woman is just absolutely amazing with information. Very knowledgeable answered every question I had honestly I was a little hesitant about going all the way to Portland area for a butcher, but I have to say there is no finer butcher team in Oregon that I honestly can say I would rather use other than the meeting place I will continue to use them for all of my game processing absolutely amazing team great greetings just an absolute nice people to deal with most booster shops are very blunt. Some can say not very friendly straight to the point and bye-bye not this place this place is energetic very friendly, respectful kind very knowledgeable. You will not find a better butcher shop in Oregon from what I have seen and I have seen just about every butcher shop we have in Oregon. These guys are top notch if you’ve never left a butcher shop completely smiling and having a great experience you should take the drive to Hillsborough and try these guys. Absolutely amazing. Cannot say enough about these people.“

“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“We visited about a month ago to celebrate a milestone in my career. Savannah was our server and she was AMAZING. She was so friendly and went above and beyond to acknowledge my accomplishment. They brought me a card signed by the staff and a really pretty dessert. They better hang on to her! In general the food was amazing and the ambiance was great. “Me and my wife have been coming in to Davidsons FrostTop since it reopened, and i will have to say the steak bites, potato skins, are fantastic. so far we have yet to have bad food here. I also have had their hamburgers. they let me custom order my hamburger the way I want it. “I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“Oregon Mini Society descended on McMenamins Rock Creek Tavern, and it could not have been a better destination.

First off, the table. If you know, you know. The massive old-growth timber round table just inside the side entrance is worth the visit alone. It’s the kind of table that makes you want to count the growth rings and debate its age over lunch (we considered it… then the food arrived and priorities shifted). It comfortably handled our lively group and instantly set the tone for a relaxed, communal gathering.

The staff was friendly, patient, and genuinely accommodating. When a group of classic car enthusiasts shows up talking oil pressure, tire pressure, and twisty roads, that can go one of two ways. Here, we were welcomed like regulars.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere warm and historic, and the setting makes it an ideal starting point, mid-point, or finish line for any car club tour. Easy access, plenty of space, and just the right vibe for lingering conversations after the engines cool.
