“For my birthday celebration, I decided to explore fine dining options in the Beaverton area and came across an enticing restaurant through Google. I made a reservation via Resy, and upon arrival, I was pleased to find the restaurant nestled among numerous shopping locales, making it an ideal spot for a celebratory meal.

The atmosphere was vibrant, especially for a weekend evening, indicating the restaurant's popularity. The staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

To start our meal, we indulged in an array of appetizers including steak tartare, which was expertly prepared, Polenta Fries that were perfectly crispy, and fresh oysters that were simply delightful. For our main course, we ordered the hand-thrown pizza, which arrived with a beautifully thin and crispy crust that was both satisfying and delicious.

I also appreciated the cocktail selection, which was impressive and complemented our food nicely. All in all, I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent service and the cheerful demeanor of the staff throughout the evening. It made my birthday celebration truly special. “The service and food for in dining is good overall. The timing of service, food temp, and professionalism of staff for dine in is very good. Take out is okay and I have had mixed feelings on this as I had missing food items along with disgruntled staff comments (actually heard it while they are working and in hearing range) when things do not go as planned for takeout orders.“

The steak bites and sliders are good appetizers. So is the calamari.

Would recommend the spicy mac off the main menu.

Steaks are acceptable, though there are better places if you're looking for a capital S Steakhouse.

“It has a decent salad bar with a fine selection including eggs, olives, peppers, chicken, ham, fruits and more.If you have a nut and dairy allergy like me, go early or risk cross contamination from the mad rush of folks who do not pay attention to that.There is a hot food bar as well. The menu changes daily but cannot eat from there due to cross contamination / cooking risks due to said allergy. I hear good comments frequently though.There is also the Sub4 restaurant inside if you have time for a sit down meal, traditional American plates.Last but not least there is a coffeehouse with a fair selection of coffee / tea options.“

“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“Love coming to this location. We try to come for breakfast every weekend and always sit in Savanna's section. She is super attentive and always cracking jokes. Perfect start to our weekend. Highly recommended the French toast and German pancake.“

“I live in Portland but during the Pandemic I tend to avoid indoor spaces within the City limits. To the suburbs I go. Coffee and muffins for two at Ava’s was great. Very limited indoor seating made for a pleasant and safe experience. We had coffee, we talked without masks and I enjoyed this place. If you want to meet for coffee in Beaverton and actually sit and talk with someone, this is a good place. I don’t know if they take reservations, but they should. I would hesitate to have anything much larger than a 3-top here. Again, small space with limited and nicely spaced pandemic seating. Pleasant pandemic coffee meeting place. Go Beaverton!“

“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

“not a fan of onion rings, but these are DELICIOUS!!!! The burger buns were perfectly toasted, love that char-broil taste ❤️ the only thing that was missing was a jukebox, but those are hard to come by anyway so it's cool!!! Music was perfect of course“

“We are from the coast so this is a pretty far drive but well worth it! Hands down one of the best Applebees I’ve been to in 15 years! Highly recommend. The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and not at all dried out which happens a lot with food chains but this was not the case! Pleasantly surprised! The staff was incredible, my family can be particularly with their food it was so nice that Talulah was so patient and kind. Even the manager Sonja came over and checked on us. Such a nice experience ?. I would’ve taken a picture of the food but it was so good I didn’t even have time to snap a pic!“

“This is the good Beaverton McMenamin’s. It’s only a couple of miles away from Greenway. It’s got good atmosphere, good food and good customer service. If you find yourself at the Greenway location don’t bother. Drive up Scholls to Murray to the better McMenamin’s.“

“Wow the food is so good. The managers are nice. The owners are really nice. The food is very authentic and I feel like I’m in Hawaii. When I eat there I wish they brought back the beef. It’s delicious. I know it’s rough time since Biden took office. Everything‘s been very expensive and I understand why they’re struggling. Honestly, if they moved to another location, I would still support them. I appreciate supporting owner and just honest people like the owner. “Fred and I went to this tiny bar in Progress Ridge. This perfectly placed slice of heaven was the perfect stop, after a long day of shopping fun. We sat at the bar, and the woman that tended that bar taps was such a delight! She was knowledgeable and gave Fred tasters of all the ciders they had in house; while giving me all the laughs I could handle! This place always has something going on, between the Bob Ross, televised sports games and weekly activities! Fred and I will be coming back for the, “Sip and Paint Night!”“

“A good place to go with groups, especially on slower weeknights. Good service and prices are lower than I've recently paid at places without table service!Unfortunately I've had better Southwest chicken salads at Chick Fil A: the grilled chicken was so dry I really wasn't interested in eating it, and the dressing and other toppings were fairly scanty. No one else at the table had any complaints: if we go again, I'll probably forget about trying to eat especially healthy and order a burger or quesadilla.“

Most of the same food options and specials are available.
Now there's much more fun!!! Video poker, trivia nights and lots of TVs for sports.
Drinks are as good as always and service is still very special, that family feel.
Kids can eat until 9 pm and then it turns into a much larger, accessable open pub.
I was a little hesitant with the changes since Peppermill has always been one of those community treasures, but no worries here. Change is GOOD!!!

“The bar itself is obviously well loved by its regulars. Everyone was in high spirits and the food was absolutely amazing! My spouse has been going here for years and this was my first time. The chef was obviously very proud of the food and was super friendly. The burgers are not only large, but made with high quality ingredients and everything tastes great. My only caveat is that it's very loud, music and patrons, as most bars are. So make sure you keep that in mind if you have noise sensitivity. I can't wait to go back and try the sopapillas the chef recommended!

“Accommodated outside seating for 10 people for a birthday gathering, with little notice. Happy Hour food, drinks and entrees were very excellent! The server made splitting up the bill seamless. Our favorite neighborhood, go to! Looking forward to the new Happy Hour menu and smashed burger“
