“This is a great place to come for happy hour and especially on Wednesdays. If you like wine. They call it wine Wednesday and you can buy a bottle of wine for half price! The food is always good for happy hour and the service always friendly“
“Small wait was worth it. Homestyle delicious food. They truly know how to make a good egg. Tyler is an excellent waiter to top it off. Both times we left full plus leftovers. We're going back!Next time I might have to have one of those humongous hollandaise covered omelettes! The biscuits and gravy are delicious. They have lunch and other things too.“
“The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff and management are just the greatest and sweetest manners and excellent hospitality. I most definitely recommend them for a nice dinner for urself, couples night, drink, bday or anniversary. They really know how to make sure you have a great time and every1 is “
“A group of us usually go there Friday night and we are pretty well taken care of. Sarah, our usual server, is amazing/the absolute best, and the food ain't half bad either. I've had the Patty Melt, Burgers, Fried Shrimp, and a few other things. They have a decent menu, with a nice variety, to go along with a small sports bar atmosphere, and a game room. We make it a regular Friday spot.“
“Goodness, I have been coming here for over 30 years. I have to say these are the best pancakes I've seen in many years. The reason is the guy in the kitchen on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday knows how to cook them. The omelette was fantastic. Cooking great pancakes is an art form. Great job...Morning customer service is outstanding.“
“Fuego Underground is indeed "Fire!" I've been to dozens of Speakeasy establishments in New York, Las Vegas, and even in Central America. Fuego Underground has easily become a top 5 favorite experience for me!It isn't secreted behind an unmarked door or hidden behind a business front, but it has an authentic feel of a Speakeasy from the 20s and 30s. The servers are dressed as flappers, and the interior of the Underground beneath De Fuego bar attached to the Monarch hotel in Clackamas is opulent yet tasteful and reminiscent of the era. There is live piano music at opening, and smooth jazz trios and featured artists later in the evening. The service is on point. Everyone embraces the spirit of the experience being created within the Fuego Underground. The cocktails are heavily weighted toward the whiskey and bourbon drinking crowd, yet all drinks are given the prohibition era spin in presentation. The entrees are predominantly various cuts of beef with some exceptions, and they are of equal quality to any high-end steak house in Portland. The sides are varied and better than most compared to, say, El Goucho or Ringside. I had a Gâteau au Chocolat for desert that was delicious! (even though I had to take it home and eat it 2 hours later for being so full!)Overall, it was an amazing experience! If you love a good Speakeasy, you HAVE to try Fuego Underground. If you just like great steaks and craft cocktails, this is a hidden gem with easy parking, but reservations are recommended. This place is popular and for very good reason.“
