Wow! We have been fans of Dean's Homestyle Cafe for many years. When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain.

Dean's Homestyle Cafe is a welcoming spot with a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a quaint country bed and breakfast. The friendly staff, who greet customers at the door, provide great service. The new team has continued the tradition of making people feel welcome and learning the names of regulars. The menu offers huge portions of delicious, hearty food, including chicken fried steak and eggs, and breakfast favorites like omelets with sausage, Swiss cheese, and black olives. Hashbrowns and toasted English muffins are also highlights. The food is still excellent, with super generous, well-prepared portions and very reasonable prices. The prices are unbeatable and the food exceeds expectations. With a fire crackling in the real fireplace, it's the perfect spot to relax on a rainy day. Dean’s is known as one of the best family-owned breakfast and brunch restaurants around. They are only open from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, and Sundays from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. The cafe is located in a charming early 1900’s house on Hwy 212, surrounded by a growing business district. Dean's Homestyle Cafe is worth a visit, though customers should be prepared to pay with cash only, as no debit or credit cards are accepted.
