When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“

“Whenever I visit Portland, I make sure to stop at this matcha shop. They have a wide variety of matcha treats, including ice cream, snow cones, lattes, and matcha floats. The edible gold matcha ice cream cone is a special favorite. They also change their soft serve flavor regularly. Matcha goes really well with mochi balls. It’s the best matcha I’ve ever had every time I visit.“

“Had the spiced pumpkin latte it didn’t have as much flavor as I wanted but aesthetically the latte art was perfect. I tried the sweet and spicy avocado toast which was amazing. They decorated cute for halloween and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also had desktops for laptop work. Dogs welcome inside and outside on a leash. They make drinks in reusable cups which I liked.“

Great way to start the day supporting local small businesses in a good food cart spot. Tables and chairs to eat at in the open areas.“

The new porch is great to hang out on and the back porch is also nice and cozy. There is a library upstairs that has some great literature.“

“This is exactly what I needed for breakfast this morning! We got a tea, mocha, egg and cheese on a jalapeno bagel, and a pistachio rose croissant. A must try place if you want a comfortable and calm breakfast with good food and great vibes. We got a birthday cake macaroon and walnut chocolate chips cookie to go which were also yummy!“

“Cute little place that smells like delicious food! I kept it simple with just sunny side up eggs and home fries. The eggs were a tad runny but they were so good I didn’t care. The home fries were a winner! So good and so well seasoned. I saw the eggs Benedict go out and I kind of wish I had ordered that they also looked great! A lot of regular customers come in and the staff all know them and their orders which is really cool I don’t see that too often. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating for larger parties. If you’re short on time but starving definitely stop here, good food and it’s served quickly.“

“Clean, whole ingredients and the taste proves it. I’ve purchased every flavor suited for coffee, including their chocolate. Hands down the best, freshest tasting syrup I’ve had. A little goes a long way. I have repurchased my favorite flavor combo: fresh apple crisp and the brown sugar simple syrup. The glass bottles are also gorgeous and look great displayed by my espresso machine. Order them all!“

“Bialy Bird was so good. I got the okonomiyaki bialy with the seasonal spread and greens, and it was perfect. The bialy itself was delicious, and the spread was rich and creamy, with the greens adding a nice freshness and balance.

My friend got the same bialy as a breakfast sandwich, and it was also so good. It had a ton of greens on it, which I loved. I’m always happy to see a breakfast sandwich that doesn’t skimp on the vegetables. It made the whole thing feel fresh and satisfying without being too heavy.

We also had a couple of lattes, and they were excellent. It was such a great breakfast stop. The food felt creative and thoughtful. It was very similar to a bagel, but different. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a great, fast breakfast in Portland.“

“We had Noho's cater our wedding and it was definitely the right move! Super flexible, took care of everything; Their team came to the venue vans loaded, set up, served, cleaned up... it was all included. We had them do our bar too and they did custom his/her drinks for us too. The team is incredibly nice and super flexible. We found out later that they actually filled everyone's water before dinner too. And of course, everything was delish. Our 'ohana was raving about the food. If you're looking for a taste of home for your event this is it.“

“We stopped by on Saturday night at 4:30 P.M. A little social media birdie had told me that they were open for dinner from 4:30PM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturdays (make sure to check their website for earlier hours). It’s a cute little spot. Lots of local art on the walls for sale and lots of seating. You can tell they make everything from scratch and you can follow the smoky and tantalizing smells of barbecue right to the door. My friend and I shared the deviled eggs with the bacon lardon-🤤-so good! Flavorful and tender. My friend got the polenta bowl with greens and brisket. I tried a bite and it was delicious! I had the mac & cheese with chicken and bacon lardon topped with breadcrumbs. Tender pasta and bacon and smoked chicken in a creamy sauce-yum! We ordered house red and white wines and both were great selections. We also took three of their dessert selections home for later. The location is a little off the beaten path, but I think it would be worth it for you to come on in and support this local business. I know that my friend and I will be back.“

“One Moto Cafe is a dog-friendly, vegan haven/heaven. Seriously, y’all should go. It’s well worth the trip. I thought that I wouldn’t be into the motorcycle theme, but I was completely wrong. This is one of the coolest coffee houses I’ve ever been to in Portland. My apartment was testing the fire system INCESSANTLY, from 8:00 AM-3:00 pm, and my two, incredibly anxiety prone dogs were terrified. I searched desperately for a safe, calm, quiet spot to get my babies away from the noise, and this was it! They also have free WiFi AND serve alcohol. Could there be a better coffee/cafe spot?!?! HELL TO THE NO!!!“

“I love coming here and getting their Americanos. Prices are a bit steep, but it's understandable given that they only serve coffee, tea and small nibbles. Try the coffee cherry tea, it's interesting and hard to find in retail shops. There's plenty of space, and lots of outlets. A great place to go if your looking to plug in.“
