“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. The desserts were the perfect sweet treat for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The shop carries so many darling items, many are perfect for cat lovers. We will definitely be back!!“

“I'm so happy I found this place the best matcha I've had, literally drive two hours for this, must go when in PDX. Friendly and fast service. It's matcha galore so everything is delicious the matcha latte with strawberry foam, the cheese foam is a must have at first I thought it would be weird but the combination salty sweet in your mouth is like mind blowing, floats are so creamy. I had to try the bear one it the best of all worlds iced latte/ice cream/bear is made of compact shaved ice plus foam ! Mmmmm heaven!“

“Kind is one of those special neighborhood places that is so much more than just a coffee shop.
The coffee is fantastic (cold brew and cardamom latte are my favs), the breakfast sandwiches are addictive (homemade breakfast sausage is to die for!!) and the cannoli are a great special treat.
Come for the morning pick me up, stay for the music and bubbles and the wonderful wonderful people who have created a community gathering place out of a tiny food cart on Belmont.
Or as Francesca would say, “Come for the coffee stay for the behaviors and circumstances.” I’ll let you figure out what that means for yourself.“

“Do not tell anybody about this super awesome coffee spot! Hand crafted coffee drinks and teas featuring Super Joy Coffee Roasters small batch speciality coffees. On mu most recent visit I got a pepper mocha and it was fabulous. Do yourself a favor and get a coffee now. No regrets. Promise. Just don't tell not no one.“
“Wife and i checked out the brick and mortar today (usually buy beans online). What a great place- i love everything about it. Great beans, GREAT customer service, great decor, drinks. Everything.
Like they ask you what size free coffee you want with your bag of beans? Who does that? Baristas so friendly and kind. This place knows what's up with coffee. It's a way of life.
Honestly, if someone says they don't like this place, they're not trustworthy and they don't know about coffee.“

“I recently visited a different Nossa Familia Coffee location, and it exceeded my expectations. The cozy atmosphere and friendly baristas create the perfect environment for either a quick coffee stop or a relaxing afternoon. Their espresso drinks are always perfectly balanced—rich and smooth without any bitterness. One of my favorite things about this place is their focus on sustainability and community involvement, which makes every visit feel purposeful. While I typically enjoy their offerings in-store, I’ve also started using their subscription service, which is fantastic for enjoying their freshly roasted beans at home. It’s a great way to keep a steady supply of high-quality coffee, delivered right to your door. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, Nossa Familia offers a consistently great experience!“

“Fetch in Sellwood, Oregon, is a favorite stop in the morning. The espresso here is wonderful — rich, smooth, — though I'm hardly a connoisseur. The staff is friendly, so that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is perfect for a quick mid-morning coffee break, with the space beautifully lit by giant windows that let in natural light. Overall, it's a warm and inviting atmosphere. For my business and networking meetings, Fetch Coffee Roasters is one of the two places I suggest meeting (the other is Slow Pour).
Lately, Fetch has become a big part of my morning routine. After dropping off my kid at school, I pop in for a quick espresso before heading down the street to pick up a mobile Starbucks order for my wife. I love efficiency and keeping things streamlined, so I've tried to tolerate Starbucks espresso, but I just can't (you probably know what I mean). Since Fetch is right down the block from Starbucks, I can take advantage of the fast service, so I'm in and out in no time, without feeling rushed.
If you're in Sellwood and appreciate good coffee in a welcoming environment, Fetch is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or just looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, it’s a gem in the neighborhood.
P.S. There's always a few vegan treats in the pastry case, so that's a nice bonus.“

“Soen/Courier Coffee is a small Japanese café. It's one café and one counter for ordering, so there is no functional distinction between Soen and Courier Coffee, I think the coffee menu and small baked goods selection is from Courier Coffee and the rest (norimaki, kakigori, and tea) is Soen. Kakigori is available seasonally - I was lucky that I visited during the last week of kakigori for the year.
It's a pretty small space, a few tables tables inside and a few outside on the sidewalk. There's not much room for standing, but the staff will bring your food to your table so you don't have to stand around waiting after you order. The staff members were very nice!
I got there 45 minutes before closing. They were out of most of the norimaki but had one ume-taku norimaki left, so that was what I ordered, along with an apple cinnamon kakigori and buckwheat tea. I really enjoyed the norimaki even though it wasn't my first choice. The pickled plum and radish gave it a big pop of flavour and the inari added some nice sweetness. Perfect interplay of sweet, savoury, and vegetal flavours. The kakigori looked huge but since kakigori is mostly ice it wasn't heavy or hard to finish. The apple cinnamon flavour came with a creamy sweet potato sauce, a shot of hojicha, and of course baked apples. It was a really interesting and unique combination of flavours. Very good. The tea was a nice warming accompaniment to my meal. I think for the high quality the prices were fair.“

“I’ve been coming to this boba shop often since moving over to Clackamas and it’s by far my favorite boba shop now! I tend to get the yuzu pinacolada, roasted milk tea, or thai tea but today I decided to try their seasonal brown sugar pumkin spice oatmilk drink and it’s so good! I’m a sucker for pumpkin spice and plan on going here whenever I’m craving it until it goes out of season ? Also love that they host kpop cupsleeve events here sometimes! The owner/ employees are also super nice and friendly ?“

“Rimsky was, and still is, one of the unholy assortment of places that night owls (like I used to be) flocked to, after stumbling out of a metal concert late at night, seeking a place to nurse our wounds and something to sponge up the booze. We lost Le Bistro Montage during COVID (even if they rose from the ashes in the form of food carts), and Roxy shortly thereafter. Thankfully the Hot Cake House is still chugging along. And then there's Rimsky: the devilish dessert destination that dares and delights date and diners alike!
They like to play up the haunted vibe here, and I've heard this place self-described as "casually threatening", which is probably one of my favorite descriptions of any place, ever, and they live up to this moniker. The aesthetic is eclectic and a little off-putting, and the irreverent servers toy with their guests like a cat batting around a ball of yarn, always approaching the edge but always coming short of pushing you over it.
And then there's the coffee and desserts: not exactly two of my favorite things, but when done correctly, they can be wonderful, especially when paired together. I've thoroughly enjoyed an affogato and a chocolate pot de crème here, as well as some fantastic espresso...and this is coming from someone who can eat one slice of birthday cake and be done with sugar for the next six months, and whose "regular" coffee order is a spearmint or Earl Grey tea.
Rimsky-Korsakoffee is a fantastic spot to end on a first date: it'll give you a good idea of your partner's flexibility and sense of humor...if you can get in the door, that is - they are ALWAYS busy, so plan ahead and be patient, if necessary. And I know the "is it haunted?" question gets asked a lot, but it really doesn't matter, because once you visit here even once, the specter of its recollection will be bedeviling you for years to come.
Kid-friendliness: Yes...? But don't. The vibe isn't really condusive to small children.“

“We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou“

“I had the charbroiled salmon, and while it was good, it didn’t match the description. The ingredients, like the salt rub, were missing, so it was pretty plain. However, I’d still recommend it.

“We met up with a friend from out of town with a four-year-old. I thought it would be fun to go there, since they have the art and playroom, It was the best decision we made. We were able to enjoy our coffee and breakfast. While the kids played and we could have adult conversation. I can't really comment on the food.As we just had basic breakfast. But we were also looking at the lunch menu, and we'll be back.“

“Was looking for a nice chai latte and I found it to thanks to the other reviews! It's on the sweeter side and made from concentrate, so no changing the sweetness but the concentrate is from a local company and it's oh so good. Definitely recommend the chai here for anyone looking for a sweet chai latte that still packs a punch.

“The coffee is so good! The staff isn't always the friendliest, but also people are human and they don't owe me anything but making some bomb-ass coffee. Seriously, I go out of my way for it. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing too. Not microwaved, healthy serving of ham, real cheddar. For a quick stop in the morning, it doesn't get much better.“

“This is a fairly small coffee cafe that specializes in CBD and natural wellness based drinks and products. When we walked in we noticed it’s a little difficult to walk to the area to look at their coffee, plant based protein and CBD products. However, it was totally cool because slowing down and looking at it makes it all the better and it was worth it. We ordered a dirty chai and a mocha, and x2 of the #1 turkey crescent. It took about 15 minutes and there were 7 people ahead of us. They served us drinks before our food was ready and we enjoyed it in front of the building where there were some seats. We were hiding out from the sun because it as 90 degrees outside and I finished by drink quickly. I went back to check on my food and they gave me a refill without asking ?? It has a nice small business feel. I really felt like when it says “Moms soup” mom is making it for me. Terrific customer service, aesthetic, and feeling. Thank you Apothecary, we were visiting from San Diego and it was a lovely visit.“

“Lovely boba tea shop my friend & I found & decided to try. The Thai tea was delicious! I got the cheese foam & wow they did a great job. My friend got a hazelnut boba that was also yummy. The hazelnut isn’t too sweet like most places which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were kind & friendly, they made our drinks so fast too. On another note, the price was very reasonable & a bit cheaper than other places I’ve been to. Definitely will come here again for some Thai tea boba & it’s a must visit for local boba lovers!“
“Nice place, very chill atmosphere around 7am.
I ordered an almond Danish and a mocha. The prices are about $2 less than a lot of coffee places. The quality isn't top tier, but it's pretty good coffee. Good deal overall.“

“I can always count on a perfect cup of coffee (OK, an almond mocha), and they usually remember what I drink when I visit. A nice personal touch. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits are delicious.
Parking: Zombie Coffee is primarily drive-thru, but there are enough parking spots if you'd rather do walk up and sit at the picnic table.“
