“Whenever I visit Portland, I make sure to stop at this matcha shop. They have a wide variety of matcha treats, including ice cream, snow cones, lattes, and matcha floats. The edible gold matcha ice cream cone is a special favorite. They also change their soft serve flavor regularly. Matcha goes really well with mochi balls. It’s the best matcha I’ve ever had every time I visit.“

A little goes a long way. I have repurchased my favorite flavor combo: fresh apple crisp and the brown sugar simple syrup. “We found Nossa Familia Coffe while searching for local shops with Swiss Water Process decaf coffee. It was really good. I bought a bag of it and plan to make it stronger than what they serve. The strength (weaker than what I prefer) of it is my only slight complaint. The flavor was lovely and I couldn't detect any acidity. Silky smooth americano. My kiddo got matching and husband got a spicy mocha drink. Everyone enjoyed their beverages. We frequent Portland and would definitely return and recommend to others.“

“Love the food, love the staff! We dropped off our car at the Subaru dealership and asked for a brunch recommendation close by. So glad we did. The food was so delicious and the staff friendly. You can serve yourself coffee while you wait (usually not long) for a table. I can't remember what I had, but each item I tried was just delicious. Not too greasy and the flavors are amazing. I always look forward to our car service appointments because it means we'll eat at J&M's.“

“Wow! We have been fans of Dean's Homestyle Cafe for many years. When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. “Bialy Bird was so good. I got the okonomiyaki bialy with the seasonal spread and greens, and it was perfect. The bialy itself was delicious, and the spread was rich and creamy, with the greens adding a nice freshness and balance.

My friend got the same bialy as a breakfast sandwich, and it was also so good. It had a ton of greens on it, which I loved. I’m always happy to see a breakfast sandwich that doesn’t skimp on the vegetables. It made the whole thing feel fresh and satisfying without being too heavy.

We also had a couple of lattes, and they were excellent. It was such a great breakfast stop. The food felt creative and thoughtful. It was very similar to a bagel, but different. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a great, fast breakfast in Portland.“

“We stopped by on Saturday night at 4:30 P.M. A little social media birdie had told me that they were open for dinner from 4:30PM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturdays (make sure to check their website for earlier hours). It’s a cute little spot. Lots of local art on the walls for sale and lots of seating. You can tell they make everything from scratch and you can follow the smoky and tantalizing smells of barbecue right to the door. My friend and I shared the deviled eggs with the bacon lardon-🤤-so good! Flavorful and tender. My friend got the polenta bowl with greens and brisket. I tried a bite and it was delicious! I had the mac & cheese with chicken and bacon lardon topped with breadcrumbs. Tender pasta and bacon and smoked chicken in a creamy sauce-yum! We ordered house red and white wines and both were great selections. We also took three of their dessert selections home for later. The location is a little off the beaten path, but I think it would be worth it for you to come on in and support this local business. I know that my friend and I will be back.“

“I stopped at a great little place and had a large French Roast coffee and a breakfast sandwich ham egg and cheese on a fresh croissant. 2 min and I was enjoying a great sandwich at a great value. I met Joo and he was very friendly. They are pet friendly with free dog treats. Enjoy staying and eat inside or sit outside below large very impressive trees that I am sorry I can’t tell you the species.
Anyway stop by and enjoy a quick bite and coffee. He also has an espresso machine to make anything to rival a Starbucks but at much better price point.“

“Jamon Benedict was a winner. Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing, but the price of my meal was kind of hard to beleive.

Its a very focused menu, not a variety show of random stuff which is i guess how they can be so efficient on costs. The Benedict was with two perfectly poached eggs and served in a big and thick slice of white bread toast instead of English muffin.

The porridge itself didn't taste like much apart from rice, but all of the toppings added a lot of flavor and texture. I scraped my bowl clean!
