“Lee's was great as usual. The hot & spicy chicken is the bomb if you like a little heat (it's not hot by my standards, but it's tasty and good). They're always fast and friendly to boot.”
“This is a family owned business. I work in the area and frequent them often. Every member of this business are amazing. Unmatched customer service. Great selection, authentic food, did I also say ice cream as well. My favorite local spot. Because they are the friendlest and kindest people you could ever meet. Thank you!”
“Parking: A small parking lot, but there can be street parking available if needed.Kid-friendliness: Clean, room for kids chairs, etc. very positive atmosphere for everyone!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance, seating area and restrooms are very accessible for wheelchairs or walkers.”
“I can always count on a perfect cup of coffee (OK, an almond mocha), and they usually remember what I drink when I visit. A nice personal touch. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits are delicious.Parking: Zombie Coffee is primarily drive-thru, but there are enough parking spots if you'd rather do walk up and sit at the picnic table.”
“Just moved to the area I live half a mile away thought I’d try the place expected a hole in the wall, but was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and was greeted immediately by a nice smile and the lovely bartender. Her husband is the cook. His name is Bob and I apologize I can’t remember her name. They cooked my fish the way I like it light gold brown. It was lightly breaded and tasty! atmosphere was light and inviting. I will definitely be back weekly.”
“Been awesome every time I've come in. Drinks are great, staff is friendly and burgers on Thursdays are super tasty - you also get to dress them yourself which I prefer. Had some soup last visit, would recommend.”
“Sarah the barista there is my favorite! She is always so personable at the register. I often see her there working alone and she handles all the things. My drinks are always excellent. Thank you, Sarah!”
“I love black rock coffee.. iced Chai was delightful as well as the baristas/cashiers. Four stars on service because the batista asked what we wanted as she walked away.”
“The food here was TOP NOTCH. Side salad was fresh, and my sandwhich was very delicious!!Unfortunately, while there were only maybe 10 people in the whole restaurant, the service was very slow.”
“I love this little pizza place. Their pizzas are so yummy, it’s hard to find a great local pizza place close by. The owners are super down to earth and good people. The drive is worth it! Salads are super fresh!”
“A great dive bar, mostly a neighborhood locals crowd. People are friendly and welcoming. And Jax, one of the bartenders, just can't say enough good things about her.The tacos are delicious and a total bargain.”
“Outstanding breakfast. The portions were very well sized. I had to get a box to take about half of my omelet and hash browns home with me for later. I will positively go back. The server was prompt and they gave me a large thermos with coffee so I didn't have to ask for refills. It was a great experience!”
“Kyle does a great job running this location. He's always happy and always willing to help answer any questions or get you any samples! His staff are wonderful as well!”
“The food was delicious. Except for the crazy amount of bones in my chicken everything else was excellent. The very helpful employees were nice enough to substitute the yellow lettuce for extra rice. And they have a drive through that has great ambiance. When you pull up to the microphone thing it feels like you're walking through the doors of your own home it's so welcoming.”
“This is a GREAT location and super clean and convenient. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit I had was fresh and hot. The lobby is really updated and if you like the kiosk order or app it's great! If you want to have a person at the counter and be waited on its less great.”
“Considering how bad the subway near me in NE Portland is when I went here to get the same sub as I got down there in Milwaukie...this place is great. The artisanal bread was actually flaky and the sandwich was good. They made me want to get subway more. Unfortunately, the subway near me with its chewy gross artisanal bread that I doubt they even toasted soured me. But hey, go HERE!”
“The parking doesn't really have spaces for big trucks except on the road nearby, and they're remodeling the interior. But overall it's what you want out of a Taco Bell experience. Live life Mas!!!”
“Food is amazing cookies taste fresh the sandwich are amazing I love everything about here and idk why people hate this place they just don’t have good vibes about here but me I love it tbhKid-friendliness: Pretty nice people”
“Innovative French cuisine in the style of Le Pigeon.Le Pigeon presents adventurous French-inspired cuisine, characterized by its unique creativity and originality. Enjoy a diverse selection of wines in the intimate setting of its East Burnside Street location in Portland.Their Chef's Tasting Menu promises a complete journey with nine courses, starting from amuse-bouche to petits fours. The dishes are visually appealing, almost like paintings on plates!I was impressed by the friendly and excellent full service, as well as the quality and flavors of the dishes.”
“It was truly an amazing experience. Everything was delicious. The staff was awesome. Everyone was friendly. Every dish was better than the last. The twice cooked pork, amazing. The PLAINTAIN BRIOCHE BUNS, delicious and full of flavor. Wish we'd had two servings. The peanut, creamed greens are full of subtle flavor that builds and builds. The smoked ribs ranked among the best grilled beef I've ever had. The BLANCMANGE, with coconut custard, might be the best thing we had. It's a rare experience where we talked about what we want to try next time as we were driving home. Both of us are looking forward to going back again! Oh, and their drinks are amazing as well. Their Hearthfire was filled with flavor and heat! Delicious!”
“Just had one of the best experiences of my life at Lilia. Do yourself a favor and do NOT miss the tasting menu, which rotates weekly. It was an incredible value, and more importantly there was not one single disappointing dish in the 8-course lineup. Some stand outs were the amberjack crudo in aguachile: the fish was incredible and cut so pretty, and the aguachile was just the brightest and tastiest i’ve ever had. The quesadilla with huitlacoche, sprouting broccoli and marinated radish: never having tried huitlacoche I was shocked at how decadent and rich it tasted… every flavor in the dish worked like magic with the others. The pork collar: as soon as I touched a piece of the pork collar confit it fell apart under my fork, cooked to perfection. Like the carnitas of your dreams. And the chocolate & salted hazelnut tart with kumquats: probably the most interesting combinations of flavors and textures in any dessert I’ve tried… the kind of experience that’s just delightful every time you take another bite. Every dish was just a surprising explosion of flavors and beauty. This is exciting food. Absolutely no letdowns with the service (every staff member was enthusiastic and knowledgeable) and the ambience as well, but the food is truly mind-blowing.Vegetarian options: Every ingredient is treated like the star in these dishes, which means the vegetarian dishes were a burst of flavor, spice and texture. I had the roasted fennel with fennel harissa and the white asparagus with salsa pipián, pickled rhubarb and morel mushrooms and both were just excellent.”
“Come here for the happy hour and stay for all the foods on the menu. Smoked mussel dish was to die for, Oysters are naturally delicious but the sauces here are amazing especially that green fish sauce, I’d bottle that and sell that immediately! Server was amazing and wish I knew their name so I can shout them out. I didn’t order it but $90 for a tasting per person is just too inexpensive for that quality and amazingly tasty dishes. Just want another shout out for the mussel dish on there March 18th menu. Dish will always be in my mind.”
“Incredible dinner! Definitely a top five dining experience in Portland. Everything was delicious from the martinis, salads and main dishes. Highly recommend the beet and grapefruit salad, octopus, and steak.”
“The best pizza I’ve had, and I eat pizza a lot. We had the pepperoni and the garlic arugula pizza and my friend and I kept just saying how good it was. It’s the kind of pizza you feel like you should keep talking about but you come up short everytime you try.”
“Definitely a must try at least once! The ice cream flavors change often, but there are always the consistent flavors that are there every time. It's worth going in and asking for a sample of as many kinds as you want to try until you find your favorite (they use actual silverware for the samples).”
“My husband and I visited this past weekend and everything was amazing. The food was great, the bartender Jesse (hope I spelled that correctly lol) was BEYOND great, and the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again.”
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!”
“I saw the raving reviews so wanted to check this place out. The bahn mi is good bulgogi has good flavor. The meat is pretty chewy though, and I would say the combo definitely is not worth the extra 5 bucks. I'd stick to the sandwich. The service was pretty quick and the lady was very nice. It's a small hole in the wall location. I would however avoid this area after about 5/6pm. This area is home to many people whom reside outside lol. As someone who has been to almost every bahn mi place in Portland I will say comparing to best baguette, bahn mi fresh, and a few other bahn mi places i think killer bahn mi is the best! But it is quite spendy for a bahn mi. You pay for it in the amount of meat they give you but still. If you like this kind of bahn mi I'd recommend also checking out an xuyen bakery. It's this little bakery on like 51st and foster but they have some of the biggest bahn mis I've ever had for 1/2 the price.”
“I have lived in Morocco and been traveling there since the 1970s. my lunch yesterday at Kasbah Moroccan Cafe was undoubtedly the best Moroccan food I have eaten in the US. The food was delicious and authentic. Portions were generous. While we had to eat outside due to Covid, we could see that the inside of the cafe was attractively done in Moroccan style. The owner was very friendly. My son-in-law is Moroccan and he loved the food as well. I unreservedly recommend this place and will make a point of eating there next time I visit Portland.”
“This is some of the best Korean food, and maybe the best fried chicken I've ever had. I've eaten here multiple times, and brought several friends to try, and we've never had anything but outstanding food. Truly one of the hidden gems of the regional food scene.”
