“First time here and we will definitely be back again. My husband and daughter stopped in for some shave ice. Not too long after, my daughter accidentally dropped hers, leading to lots of tears. The person working came out, unbeknownst to us, with a replacement and reassurance. Thank you, it was very kind.”

“Best Indian food I’ve found anywhere in PDX. I live in downtown Portland and regularly drive the 30+ minutes to get the samosas and to chat with the wonderful workers. The food is rich, flavorful, healthy and enjoyable. The service is warm and genuine. I could sing Masala Box praises on and on but I believe the experience speaks for itself. If you haven’t eaten here yet, be sure your try the samosas and mint chutney.”

“Had a great experience at Gladstones! The service was excellent, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor — always a bonus when the food comes with entertainment! The star of the show was definitely the Gouda mac and cheese with grilled chicken. Rich, creamy, packed with flavor, and downright delicious. Definitely comfort food done right! Great atmosphere, great service, and a dish worth coming back for. We’ll be back!”

“Loved the food! I was initially disappointed that my fish sandwich wasn't a whole fish fillet, but the taste did not disappoint. My husband got the 3pc fish and chips. The batter was light, flakey, and flavorful. The fish was fresh, hearty, and very fulfilling. I would fully recommend this for a lunch break. The ambiance was definitely a hole in the wall but no one bothered us and I will return again. BTW, the tartar sauce is to DIE for. I told the owner he needs to bottle, market, and sell it!”

“You walk into a nice clean restaurant. It smells great.You look at the prices and think wow just a little spendy, but when you get your order at the table,you understand why. Their portions are big and I mean dinner tonight and lunch tomoŕrow big.The women who was working that evening not only cooked some of the best teriyaki chicken, she was very polite and friendly. The only reasoni gave atmosphere four stars is because we sat outside and it was starting to get sunny, and it got hot. So if they had um umbrellas for their tables I would give perfect scores across the board. The food is worth every penny! Go and treat yourself to a delicious dinner I would take a date there.”
