“☺️ Husband took me here for date night last weekend and it was a lovely time. Our server was so helpful and friendly, the food was tasty and we had plenty of time to chat and enjoy each other's company. Thank you!”

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “We order at least once a week from Pioneer Family Pizza, and happily so! The food is always perfect, the service is always friendly and respectful. We have been ordering take out once a week for almost 5 years now and I don't see that routine changing! The order is always correct and at a "more than fair" price. The restaurant, while we have never actually sat, is always clean and with a cool vibe! The staff has always been super kind and that reflects on the management and ownership. “What an amazing experience. Started off with a excellent pineapple mojito followed by steamer clams that were to die for. I don't know what they put in that sauce but I could simply drink it. We sat on the patio and the river at twilight was awesome. It started to get a little chilly and our server noticed and turned the heaters on for us. Dinner came 😋 and I was not disappointed. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and baked potatoe fully loaded hit the spot. Server was very prompt and courteous. Finished the night with a piece of lemon berry cake.(My new favorite) what a great night...everything was perfect. Can't wait to return. Don't miss out on this gem.”

“Had a wonderful first, of many, experiences at Blissful Bakery! Deb and Bob were kind and made us feel so welcome! Both indoor/outdoor seating were clean and tidy! Now…the pastries…literally the best scones I’ve ever had; so flavorful and soft! The cookies were soft and the flavors hit the mark! “Have been here twice and you can’t go wrong with the lamb & chicken Saj with spicey garlic sauce. It’s large enough to split with someone. Also, must have an order of their hummus and pita; the pita is very soft and puffy…delicious! My only suggestion would be to give two pieces of pita instead of one with the hummus given the $8 price tag. I paired it with a wonderful Vietnamese stout…also delicious! 😋 I always be back for more!!”

Today I had to run out to Molalla for a plant delivery and, on a whim, typed “bakery” into Maps… and THANK GOODNESS I did, because this place is an absolute treasure! 💎 Tucked just off Beavercreek Road near 213, it’s hidden among the warehouse spaces — but trust me, once you turn off the main road, it’s right there and so worth the stop. The moment I walked in, I was hit with THE most heavenly smell. You know that warm, cozy, life-is-good kind of aroma? Yeah, that. Fresh cinnamon rolls, hot focaccia, cookies just out of the oven, quiche, sandwiches… it was sensory overload in the best possible way. I genuinely wanted to buy one of everything. I ended up grabbing both focaccias — the rosemary sea salt (perfection) and their special mascarpone version — plus a ham & cheese quiche made with locally raised ham from Campfire Farms here in Oregon City. The fact that they source local ingredients whenever possible? Huge bonus. And let me just say… this focaccia might actually be the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Dipped it in olive oil, herbs, and a drizzle of caramelized onion balsamic and suddenly remembered that simple, high-quality food is pure magic. Inside, the space is ADORABLE — a beautiful mural, shelves filled with local goods, tea, and giftable goodies. It feels homey, creative, and genuinely cared for. Everything here is freshly baked DAILY, and they’re only open Thursday–Saturday, so plan ahead! They’re also taking Thanksgiving pie orders (and likely more holiday desserts), so if you want to impress your guests this season, place a preorder ASAP. Trust me. I’ve been missing Singer Hill Café ever since they closed, and finding a spot with this kind of warmth, quality, and genuinely kind people makes me SO happy. I’m already planning my next visit. So grateful I found this gem — and I’ll absolutely be back again and again. 💛🍰🍞”

I ordered the special lunch bagel, I also bought a bag of chips and drink and all together I want to say it wasn't more than $13. They took about 4 minutes to put it together which is fast to me. The sandwich was delicious, it packed a lot of flavor and they stuffed it just right. It was so good I'll be coming here to try their other deli sandwiches.

The reason why I keep going back is the atmosphere an environment. The staff of this location are absolutely the sweetest, most genuine, honest nicest people I have ever met. There is a blond woman that works there and I heard some of the most kind compliments of my life. I watched her use words to make another person literally feel better and more confident about themselves. It was amazing to watch. The world could use more people like her. Watching that type of kindness literally makes the ice cream 10 times better. I recommend you try this location out. It'll literally make you feel better as a person.”

For I have found myself in a bar so hot, so unrelentingly sweltering, that I am beginning to question whether I walked into a local tavern or accidentally passed through a portal into the armpit of Mount Vesuvius. The air in here is not just warm — it is actively hostile. It’s like being gently slow-roasted in a human crockpot set to “boil souls.” I ordered a cold beer, and by the time it reached my lips, it had turned into a hot toddy. The bartender handed me a napkin and it spontaneously burst into steam. My shirt is now a second skin made entirely of regret and perspiration. The walls are sweating. The chairs are sweating. I’m fairly certain I just saw a lizard try to file a zoning complaint. There is no breeze. No relief. Only heat, humidity, and the sound of people pretending this is fine as they quietly melt like cheese under a broiler. This place doesn’t need a fan — it needs a priest, an exorcism, and a commercial-grade air conditioner blessed by three different denominations. In conclusion, unless someone installs an AC unit soon, I fear I shall fully liquefy and be mopped into a bucket labeled "formerly human, now soup." All in all though, love it here.”
