“For a tavern type place this is 5 star. Small and quirky. Funky bar top, a pool table and a pretty diverse set of slots, this is a good midday stop. Cheeseburger, chicken fried steak, onion rings and tots were all good. Will swing by again when we are in the area.“
“I’d have given a 5 star if not for the cute little waitress that greeted us. She was really nice and I had walked in behind my husband and she had already asked for his id and then told me I was fine. I still got my id out on my phone because that is where my id is. So for those who don’t know there are 2 states that I know of that have electronic identification like in my myColorado™ app. They ARE A LEGAL ID! For someone who wasn’t even going to look at my ID to feeling like she was going to kick me out of the restaurant because she didn’t believe it was a real ID. All this would have been completely understandable if she hadn’t already said I didn’t need to show my id.“
“Top-notch bar burger. In our New World of $16-$20 hamburgers, this place stands out as being an actual good value for the money. When I want a good top shelf hamburger, this is where I go. I bashed the Verdict food cart for their burger being just average for the money. This is the place I'm comparing it with. Way better.“
“The Blackberry cider was excellent! Will go back just to enjoy that again. Also, I want to try the sliders. They looked good but we opted for a salad. Waitress was kind enough to split it for us. Love the decor and outdoor seating, especially on a warm sunny day.“
“They take their food seriously here. Ingredients are high quality and not just a bunch of freezer-to-fryer bar grub. Their tri tip is outstanding and they should make more dishes that include it so I can get it more often. The homemade potato chips a favorite in our house and are very addicting. To-go orders are packaged well and no less delicious at home. All of the bartenders always give great service (phone orders included) and the cooks never disappoint.“
“The Highland Stillhouse was an outstanding place for a first date! The building was impressive from the outside and I was blown away when I went inside, everywhere I looked were visual treats to take in. There were so many rooms to explore, even an upstairs, and the bathroom was really spacious and cool.I am looking forward to coming back again and trying some food ?“
