“Great local spot for Teriyaki Chicken. Tied for 1st place for the best Teriyaki chicken within 5 miles of my house. I ask for the chicken to be charred. Yummmmm! I have been going here for 15+ years. Huge portions, fair pricing, fast service.“
“Excellent service. Woman working up front was very nice and made sure everyone had their needs met. Service with a smile! Which is different than some other places I have experienced. As far as the sushi and food - delicious even with us being there in the last hour they were open & on a weekday. I used to drive further for sushi - but now I’m so happy to have found a place closer to home and with such great food and service.“
“Located in the parking lot of Safeway up on Molalla Ave. Very nice people that run it. Portions are a food size and the spicy chicken and teriyaki sauce is great. Not always a fan of the chicken as it can be chewy or not cooked enough. Rice is good and so is the salad. Easy for a quick stop and service is fast. Lots of seating to eat or wait.“
“Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.“
“Highly recommend the food. The service staff seem to be evolving and not particularly well trained. Our server was ten days old. Part of the order forgotten. But, when asked about items on the menu, “I really don't know” was the standard answer. But you can trust this, everything was so fresh and yummy.“
“Okay... I mean, teriyaki is teriyaki right? Wrong. Their chicken and beef were tender and juicy, the dressing for the salad was creamy and not overly sweet. The meat was seasoned so well that I didn't even reach for any of the sauces conveniently placed on the table. The guy working the front was very nice and everything was really delicious.Vegetarian options: Per usual, there are tofu options. I did hear someone sub out their rice for broccoli so there are options and some flexibility.Parking: Depending on when you're here, it's a small parking lot shared with a number of other business. It can be a bit of a challenge to get a spot. Usually only a small wait for something to open up though.“
“We have enjoyed Yoko's sushi for almost 20 years. The fish is always fresh, and the combinations are delicious. We love Taka's Tuna, Hamachi nigiri, Thai roll and Samon nigiri. I recommend arriving early, sitting at the sushi bar and watching Yoko work. Try some of the affordable sakes available. We've enjoyed every one we tried.“
“Great food, great prices, large portion sizes, and best of all the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I've been eating here going on 7 years, I always get the chicken and pork teriyaki and it's amazing everytime!“
“This place is a real hidden gem here in West Linn. I’m really enjoyed coming here. The food is freaking awesome. And the yakisoba is pretty amazing. I also really like the chicken teriyaki. The people who run the shop I really nice. it’s always super clean and a really good value.“
“Great spot for non meat options, they’re teriyaki tofu is delicious - served with rice and a small side of steamed veg. Hefty portion of tofu. Their teriyaki sauce is some of the best in town, and you can buy a bottle of it yourself for home. That’s what I do and pour it over my home cooked dishes. They have a lunch special and a bento special if you’re looking for cheaper animal based meats but honestly the tofu is the best. :)“
