“Soooo bomb! If you like Sushi, this is the spot! Everything is made fresh and carefully crafted. The Sundobu Stew was incredible. Also got the App Sampler (I could buy that sauce by the liter), Edamame, Yalisoba and some rolls.
The Naruto Roll is SO REFRESHING! Las Vegas Roll was huge. This is my favorite spot in all of Oregon.“

“Nori is my favorite sushi in Portland. The prices are just right and the service is quick and kind. The people that work here are personable and attentive. I always get the spicy edamame and the Cherry Blossom roll. It’s the all time best sushi roll in my opinion. Please run, don’t walk, to Nori for a late lunch/dinner.“

“Nori Japan is a hidden gem for quick and delicious Japanese cuisine. Whether you’re in the mood for teriyaki chicken, beef, or fresh stir-fried veggies, everything is cooked hot and fresh right in front of you. The portions are generous, especially for the price, and the flavors are always on point—savory, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
The chicken teriyaki is a standout—tender, juicy, and glazed with just the right amount of sauce. Their fried rice and noodles are also great options, and everything comes together as a satisfying meal. The staff is friendly and efficient, making it easy to grab a great lunch even on a busy day.
If you’re at the mall or passing by, Nori Japan is definitely worth a stop. It’s fast food, but with quality and flavor that goes above expectations.“

“This little gem, not easily found on Google, to Google's fault, is amazing location with a unique type of katsu I had not tried before, hand breaded there when ordered. WOW!! Great place to sit and eat without loads of traffic right in your face. I highly recommend! :)“

“I picked a lunch spot on a total whim after flying in from Texas, then discovered the best comfort karē outside of Japan. Absolutely incredible, rich flavors that speak for themselves. Nothing is hidden or muddled; the recipe is full bodied, served insanely quick, and with the hospitality of an old friend you haven't seen in years (big shoutout to one-man army Mr. Makoto Yoshino). If you're a veteran that's ever been stationed in Japan, pair this up with Jinro and a Page 11 and it's like you're back in Oki! Seriously though, food was so good I had a borderline religious experience. 11/10 I'll always come here when I visit Portland.“

“Love the food here, so far everything I've tried has been delicious!
They take the time to listen and are very beginner friendly, for those that want to try items that are spicy, I've requested less spice and they were more than happy to do so!
Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member, and is worth trying!“

“Kokiyo Teriyaki has quickly become one of my favorite spots for delicious, comforting, and consistently great food. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the quality, the flavor, and the warm service that make this place truly stand out.
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly atmosphere and a team that genuinely cares about their customers. The service is always fast, polite, and attentive, and they make you feel welcome whether you’re dining in or picking up a quick meal to go.
Now, the food — absolutely fantastic. Their teriyaki is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The chicken is always tender, perfectly cooked, and coated in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory. The portions are generous, the rice is always perfectly fluffy, and the vegetables are fresh and cooked just right.
I also love their spicy dishes — they have just the right amount of heat while still keeping all the flavor. The yakisoba, gyoza, and katsu are also excellent choices, each prepared with care and full of satisfying taste.
What really makes Kokiyo Teriyaki special is the consistency. No matter what you order or when you come in, the food is always delicious, the portions are always big, and the experience is always positive. You can tell the owners and staff take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail.
If you’re looking for amazing teriyaki, friendly service, and a meal that always hits the spot, Kokiyo Teriyaki is the place to go. I highly recommend it and will definitely keep coming back!“

“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“This is our favorite sushi restaurant. We have been regulars for over 10 years and love to bring our friends and family here as well. They have the best spicy tuna made in a way you never see anywhere else. The sushi is always fresh and they offer new and delicious options all the time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming (,they remember our favorite drink!). So glad to have this place!“

“I came in to try the number 9 Chicken and Beef teriyaki. The presentation was spot on and the dish was big enough to make you full. It looked as good as it tasted. The chicken was moist and had grill char on meat that gave some additional flavor to the chicken. The beef was moist, juice and had good flavor. The salad was fresh and crispy with the sweet flavorful dressing that tasted very good that went with the dish. The rice was cook good. Not too soft and not too hard. The cashier that took my order was fast and nice. Food came out with the quickness, cause i was very hungry. Which made me a happy customer. I would recommend to come try some of the food here.“

The prices have barely changed in all this time with portions being consistent and great value. Two can easily eat here for $30 or less leaving full and happy. Highly recommended to anyone.“

“〇 Eggplant roll ($10.40) 〇 Okra roll ($10.40) ✨Review ✨ This sushi food cart had so many vegan options.🍣🌱 They even have vegan spicy mayo and vegan cream cheese, so it’s not just basic veggie rolls, which made me so happy 🤍 The eggplant roll goes perfectly with sweet eel sauce, and the okra roll with cream cheese and wasabi is an amazing combo ✨ It’s not a huge space, but there’s a spot in the food cart area where you can sit and eat right there 😊 Such a great find! 🌿✨ Updated from previous review on 2026-02-28“

“This is a small restaurant with a classic Japanese and Thai menu. So far it seems great, nothing over concerted. Except the heavy sauces, it would be great to have more low flavor options. I ordered the inch special beef with cashew nut sauce.“

“Dinner meal with wine, sushi rolls, and a yakisoba/chicken main dish were all excellent. And adding to the high quality was the hot temperature of the dish coming right to the table. No tepid food like so many other places.Server was friendly, attentive, and not intrusive. Our second visit. Many more to come!“

“I m visited for the first time several months ago and my life has never been the same. My fiancée and I each got 2 rolls not knowing that the portions were huge. It is hands-down the best sushi I’ve had in the US. Their lobster sushi roll calls to me like the Green Goblin mask. UberEats hates to see me open the app because I’m ordering Yami, again. 1000/10.“
“I can’t believe it took us so long to come try out Muteki! The decor is so cute, but most importantly their food goes CRAZY- I was so excited to try I forgot to take a pic before having a few bites of the black garlic ramen hahaha. The noodles are nice and thick with a good bite, and the chashu pork is thick cut and pre seared- it’s SO good!
I also have to say that I saw a review dinging the prices- their bowls def cost a couple bucks more than other spots, but I’d have to argue that it’s fully worth the price both in value and quantity. They’re practically pho bowls, and on top of that they do NOT hold back on toppings. We each got a full egg instead of just a half, and SO much pork! Also plenty of bamboo shoots and mushrooms to enjoy 🥰 Realistically we could have split one bowl and still been full. I’m stoked to come back and try their dumplings next time!
The one thing to note- if you park in the parking lot by Red Robin you’ll be able to enter through that side, but there isn’t a door chime to let the staff know someone’s arrived. We showed up while it was slow, so we crossed the restaurant to open the front door to let them know we were here and someone immediately came to seat us, but if we hadn’t done that they may have not realized we were there right away!“

“Love, love, LOVE this place for take-out teriyaki chicken with yakisoba. How is this so hard to do in Portland? I moved farther away and still drive across town for this food. The chicken is well done, portions are huge, the texture is juicy and great to nom on all day.“

“We went for the first time last week, when our normal teriyaki restaurant was shut for a couple weeks. Their food was excellent. Ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki and pork fried rice. It was all good, but there was a seasoning in the chicken teriyaki that I found odd. Dont know what it was, but it just didnt taste right. The restaurant itself is ok, just a normal strip mall restaurant. Nothing special but nothing bad either. Service was ok, we ordered ours to go so I cant speak to the in restaurant service.“

“We recently ordered catering from Dara Thai Restaurant, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, their team was professional, organized, and easy to work with.
The food arrived right on time and was delivered in warming containers, which kept everything hot and fresh until it was ready to be served. We also greatly appreciated their attention to our allergy concerns—they carefully followed all of our requests, giving us peace of mind. On top of that, they generously included plenty of condiments and extras for our guests.
We ordered Pad Thai, Yakisoba noodles, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, curry puffs, and chicken wings. Every dish was delicious, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. One item that received especially rave reviews was the mango sticky rice. People kept coming back for it and asking where it was from—it was absolutely amazing!
We are very grateful for the excellent service and outstanding food. Dara Thai helped make our event a success, and we would highly recommend them for anyone looking for high-quality catering.“

“FAIRLY GOOD FOODStopped by here after a water polo game to have supper with my daughter. The karaage salad was good, but the chicken is garden variety popcorn chicken. It does not taste like it’s been marinated in soy sake and does not have the proper karaage fry.The agedashi tofu was perfect!“

“Tobiko Bowl is a hidden gem! I tried both the Chicken Spicy Trick and the Salmon Spicy Trick, and they blew me away. The chicken was tender, juicy, and had the perfect level of heat — just enough to make it exciting without overpowering the flavor. The sauce had a delicious kick and paired beautifully with the rice and veggies.
The Salmon Spicy Trick was equally amazing — super fresh salmon with a spicy glaze that made every bite melt in your mouth. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The bowls are well-balanced, satisfying, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and quick, and the whole vibe of the food cart is chill and welcoming.
Definitely one of my new favorite spots for a flavorful, healthy meal. Highly recommend both bowls!“

“Ordered teriyaki chicken, spicy pork and shrimp fried rice to go. Really liked the chicken teriyaki. Didn't care for the salad. I definitely got a lot more chicken then my husband got spicy pork. “Definitely has a cool retro vibe. Advertising looks like bento/teriyaki place but much more of a sub place. Plenty of these bento places do this like Taste ticklers as the most famous one in Loyd district.I did their torpedo (ham, salami, Bologna, pastrami and provolone) and it was fantastic. The chicken teriyaki was ok. The sandwiches are what you go here for.It has a really good vibe but it's a sandwich shop deep down.“

“I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. It's some of the best Japanese food we've had in the Happy Valley/Clackamas area in a long time. We will definitely be back!“
