“FAIRLY GOOD FOODStopped by here after a water polo game to have supper with my daughter. The karaage salad was good, but the chicken is garden variety popcorn chicken. It does not taste like it’s been marinated in soy sake and does not have the proper karaage fry.The agedashi tofu was perfect!“

“We came through this part of town, so we decided to have dinner at this place. We ordered the number 57 Chicken Teriyaki with Beef Riblets and a teriyaki bowl. The Chicken tasted pretty good and moist with good flavor. The Riblets had lots of sweet flavors and tasted pretty good. The rice was almost perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. The salad that came with it, needed some dressing to make it even better. But it did help refresh the body.“

“Food is delicious, and the portions are generous for the price. It's an affordable option for small & large families, and the service is outstanding. I love that all Food is freshly made. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to everyone. If you're traveling to Portland, this is a place you should definitely stop and try!“

“I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. It's some of the best Japanese food we've had in the Happy Valley/Clackamas area in a long time. We will definitely be back!“

“I m visited for the first time several months ago and my life has never been the same. My fiancée and I each got 2 rolls not knowing that the portions were huge. It is hands-down the best sushi I’ve had in the US. Their lobster sushi roll calls to me like the Green Goblin mask. UberEats hates to see me open the app because I’m ordering Yami, again. 1000/10.“
“I can’t believe it took us so long to come try out Muteki! The decor is so cute, but most importantly their food goes CRAZY- I was so excited to try I forgot to take a pic before having a few bites of the black garlic ramen hahaha. The noodles are nice and thick with a good bite, and the chashu pork is thick cut and pre seared- it’s SO good!
I also have to say that I saw a review dinging the prices- their bowls def cost a couple bucks more than other spots, but I’d have to argue that it’s fully worth the price both in value and quantity. They’re practically pho bowls, and on top of that they do NOT hold back on toppings. We each got a full egg instead of just a half, and SO much pork! Also plenty of bamboo shoots and mushrooms to enjoy 🥰 Realistically we could have split one bowl and still been full. I’m stoked to come back and try their dumplings next time!
The one thing to note- if you park in the parking lot by Red Robin you’ll be able to enter through that side, but there isn’t a door chime to let the staff know someone’s arrived. We showed up while it was slow, so we crossed the restaurant to open the front door to let them know we were here and someone immediately came to seat us, but if we hadn’t done that they may have not realized we were there right away!“

“I always order takeout online from here. The sushi is delicious, and there’s a huge selection for a very reasonable price. I’ve tried many sushi places in the area, and this is still my favorite in terms of quality and value. I’m very picky when it comes to sushi, so that says a lot. Long story short, this place is definitely worth your attention!“

“There was a mishap with my order through DoorDash but I made a call in to the store and Bo was quick to correct it. I just wanted to give a shout out because a little bit of customer service goes a long way these days and I’m happy to say the service and the food was 10/10!! Thank you Bo!!“

“Sushi very nicely prepared, fresh, and tasty and enjoyed by all members of our party. One person reported that the eggrolls ordered as an appetizer dough and undercooked inside. Another party reported bento as ‘ok’. Service was OK, but not enough chopsticks or napkins were given for the table and we had to ask for more. We would return for the sushi, but maybe not order the non-sushi menu items.“
“Vancouver's newest food cart at oak tree station. I don't think I've ever seen hibachi done in a cart before. The prices are really good. I foresee this to be very popular. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. ✌🏼“

“This is our favorite Ichi location in Vancouver. We usually call in a to-go order, which is convenient, and the service is prompt. The portions are worth the price and taste authentic.Pictured below is my favorite, spicy chicken breast teriyaki with onions, red bell peppers, mushrooms, and green onions. The entree is also served with plenty of steamed white rice, a side of teriyaki sauce, and a salad with signature dressing. You can request chili sauce on the side as well. This location is part of the Heritage shopping center, always has parking, and helpful staff.“

“As someone who has been eating here for years— This is THE place to eat! A small business whose food is at an affordable price you don't see anymore, but the food is absolutely delicious! Everything is all under $20!! What a steal!!
Everything always tastes fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauces are absolutely delicious, made in house! If you are worried about your dish being too saucy or spicy, you decide how much to your dish yourself via sauce cup. Understandable if the sauces are too spicy for your taste buds (no judgement here). If you want more sauce, just let the workers know to add an additional lil sauce cup and they'll happily add it for you.
Our favorite is the #19— it is the perfect balance of meat, veggies, noodles, and sauce. Other recommended items are the #2 & #12, but honestly all are good.
Thai iced tea is great❤️ you can switch the cream to whichever option available if you can't have milk.
Workers are always welcoming and helpful if you have any questions.
Place is very clean and have a bathroom if you need.“

“The best bang for your buck when it comes to Japanese food. All you can eat for a decent price. Tons of sushi options (yep! All-you-can-eat sushi), fresh grill-style options, and plenty of other Japanese options, including noodles, rice, gyozas, Kung Pao, beef, chicken skewers, string beans, hot and cold beverages, and of course soups and deserts. Staff are friendly and clear tables quickly to keep the wait time to none most of the time. The noise level is like most restaurants, it depends on how many people are in there. Our go-to for sushi and Japanese. My family loves sushi, but I don't like it and there are still plenty of options for me. Well worth it. You'll love it if you try it.“
“The crunchy sushi donut is delicious! Me and my older sister come here a lot, to the point of them knowing we don’t like spicy stuff that much. My elder sister had a day where spice was absolutely horrible to her because her stomach hurt, and they swapped out the spicy tuna for the crab salad when asked politely! They have earned 2 loyal customers :D“

“We haven't even left this restaurant yet... I had to jump on here and praise this wonderful lady and her amazing food. Their salad dressing is made in house and their teriyaki chicken is astounding. This is the closest food I've found to Oahu, HI teriyaki!“

They can cooked as my request, i’ll coming again soon for another menu!

“I was making deliveries in the area, my sugar level was 82 and I decided to stop for a teriyaki, I was impressed, the price was only $11 and the food tasted really good, plus I ordered a coffee which they don't really sell here and the girl told me she'll make you one don't worry, I think the food is good although the people who come to this place come to play lottery machines. I recommend this place“

“Now listen, ignore those last couple negative reviews. I have been a technician working out here in Gresham for a long time and I usually stop in this Joy Teriyaki for a bite whenever I am on a job nearby. I dont normally get involved in these online things but I saw some reviews that just do not make any sense.
I see a couple peeps talking about boycotting this place and saying they do not respect law enforcement. I think you folks have the wrong location entirely. There are several Joy Teriyakis around and they are all franchises (different owners). Even the top photo on this page posted by a customer is a completely different location!
Just last month I was in here and saw the cashier and our folks in red and blue having a perfectly normal and respectfull interaction. No issues at all. Plus there has been a army recruiting office just a couple doors down for over a decade now and I never see any of those guys complaining here!
It is a real shame to see a local business get a bad reputation just because someone likely clicked the wrong spot on there map. You folks posting that hate clearly ment to put it on a different shop.
God bless.“

“Great food with plenty of selections. Fast service. Can get crowded at times as it’s a smaller shop. Wait time not usually long during popular hours. Other times no issue with plenty of seating choices. Have seating available at the counter and can watch the chefs prepare the dishes. Family friendly with plenty of non sushi sashimi options. The tempura bento box is a great choice. Parking sucks as the lot is shared by multiple businesses, Legacy clinic, and a hotel. The parking spaces are very small so don’t bring your oversized pickup.“

“Joy Teriyaki is bomb dot com! It’s always cooked fresh and full of flavor. Portion sizes are always huge for the Chicken Yakisoba. Haven’t had any issues. Nobody in there around 11:30am for pick up. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are always clean and wiped down. Family loves the food too!“

“Their poke bowls are to die for. Well worth the price, trust me on this. The only negative thing about this eating experience is the tiny bamboo chopsticks they give are not conducive to mixing and stuffing your face which you will want to do. So bring your own and dig in!“

“I had never tried this spot until I started working less than 5 min away. But I quickly fell in love, and will always stop by when I need a pick me up. Their gyozas are delish and their yakisoba noodles are so thick and yummy, with the veggies tasting very good as well.“

“My husband and I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowls, they were absolutely delicious and extremely affordable!!! They were $9.99 and it was a good sized portion. My husband got full from his bowl, I could only eat half. They aren't at all rude here, actually very nice and polite, just not too open to conversation. I highly recommend eating here!“

The Naruto Roll is SO REFRESHING! Las Vegas Roll was huge. This is my favorite spot in all of Oregon.“

“This place is so underrated!! Their Galbi (beef short-ribs) was DELICIOUS. I didn't have any expectation to be honest. I was hungry and craving Galbi and happened to be around that area. The portion was generous too. We made the special order so it might seems plated differently from the regular bowls and plates.
I'm not even a big fan of teriyaki places but this one surprised me. It is run by a Korean elderly couple. They were super nice. I wish they could gain more customers and sustain because I really like it but I live far from there. I’m definitely going back there whenever I swing by the Gresham area.“

“I've been to this food truck park a few times and for some reason I never ate at this particular truck, but today was the day! Now I'm mad that I didn't try it sooner. The chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection along with the veggies. I'll probably go back and try something else tomorrow.“

“This is a small restaurant with a classic Japanese and Thai menu. So far it seems great, nothing over concerted. Except the heavy sauces, it would be great to have more low flavor options. I ordered the inch special beef with cashew nut sauce.“
