“My friend and I love Thai food and we always enjoy the Thai spring rolls, the shrimp garden rolls, crab puffs and the pineapple fried rice is amazing. Great place to get food. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly when I pick up my order. They have their own online ordering thing so you don’t have to use grub hub or door dash!”

“We went here for the first time today as a family and Oh My Gosh! First off, that was the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten. The price was very reasonable, The staff was absolutely excellent, quick and very friendly. I also love the outdoor seating option. I honestly give this place a 10/10. We most definitely will be coming back. And the real seasonings on the pizza? can you say perfect?”

“Tita’s Kitchen is hands-down one of my favorite food trucks! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out. My go-to is The Chicharrón sandwich. Slow-cooked pork, sweet potatoes (trust me, it works), a killer Peruvian sauce, criolla sauce, and the freshest bread! I could eat this every day and never get tired of it. If you haven’t been, GO. You’ll thank me later!”

“Great food, large portions, and fair prices. Visited with my mother and she ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered 3 tacos (Tripe, lengua, and fajita) the tacos were delicious and larger than most other restaurants. Mom enjoyed the burrito and brought half of it home for later. The salsa bar is extensive and fresh too!”

“Expect higher prices than normal for blander food than normal -- a reflection of the socioeconomic area and community of Troutdale.

1. Good variety of food and selection of carts.
2. Clean areas and building.
3. Food is typically bland across all the carts compared to other areas such as The Fork in Wood Village, Gresham Food Carts, Rockwood Market, and pretty much any other food cart area around Gresham/Portland. This is 100% due to catering to the taste of Troutdale's community.

For point #3, using the Thai cart and Mexican cart as standards of spice and heat, they don't ask you spice level when you order (no spice by default for Troutdale folks) and spice levels are incredibly low. Medium spice level here is mild compared to other areas. Troutdale just can't handle spice.

If you end up wanting Mexican here, for the love of god, just walk to the Troutdale Burrito Shop.

This place has size and variety going for it. For flavor and saving your wallet, go to other food cart areas.”

“I really enjoyed finding this neat little bistro/cafe only 3 minutes from my house! I was looking for something exactly like what this cafe offers, and their menu items perfectly align with what one would expect from a place as fresh, classy, and sleek as this.

I was struggling to make a decision between two sandwiches and asked the server what their thoughts were- they definitely helped make my decision easier. When the food came out, it was hot, neatly plated, and smelled delicious. It turned out to be just what I was looking for.

Their service was outstanding, friendly and kind. For the items I had ordered, the wait-time was perfectly on-point: not so fast or rushed or sloppily put together, and not unbearably long either.

I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere inside, it was very polished and clean. The only drawback is that some diners do not know how to bus their own tables, or at least leave it tidy for the staff who have to clean up after them. But the staff are quick to do just that.

The one drawback that leaves me at 4 stars is the parking. It’s entirely not their fault, but attempting to find decent parking close by during a busy time, might leave you circling the block a few times.

Overall, I definitely recommend this location if you find yourself in the area and searching for breakfast/brunch/lunch options! Even if you’re not in the area, I’d say it’s worth a little drive. Definitely much more affordable and reasonable than some other spots I was browsing, and well worth what you spend.”

“We attended McMenamin’s Wassail Cider fest in January so we wanted to try more of their ciders and this is what popped up online. We got the cider flight and the red wine flight, both of which were really good. However, the wine flight they gave us 2 of the 4 glasses, then told us to come back to the back for the other 2, which was a bit weird and honestly I wasn’t a fan of. The service was also pretty lackluster, it was walk up service, which seems to be pretty common in the PNW so we’ve grown accustomed to it, but when its walk up service, I expect a little more when I do come to the bar to order. There were two employees, a blonde woman that I’d guess was in her 20s and a middle aged gentleman. The woman was very nice and enthusiastic and seemed eager to help, but the man seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid serving guests; when I returned to the bar for the second half of our wine flight, he noticed me, but proceeded to drink water, pace around, look in the storage closet, take a step towards me, turn around, take his sweatshirt off, look around again, then finally came up. As a bartender myself, it seemed like all the things that someone does when they don’t want to help a guest, so they try to waste as much time as possible until another co-worker comes to help them. The vibe was pretty cool being in the basement with glass windows all around so you could see the wine barrels, but it was a bit too dark in my opinion, which made it seem kind of dingy being in the basement. I also wasn’t a fan that when you walk in, there are no signs or menus, just brochures advertising other McMenamin’s properties, and the bar is very small with standing room only and very crowded. It reminded me of a busy college bar where I had to fight through to order drinks, but in this case I had to do that just to see a menu, let alone order a drink; not exactly the experience I want from a tasting room. Overall though, it was still unique experience and I’m sure it would be really cool to stay on property, but I don’t think I’d go back.”

“We were here on Christmas Day. The festive drinks were delicious. The bartender was super chill and friendly. The only drawback was there wasn't enough seating, and it was cold and rainy out. It looks like some seating can be added in the area you first enter. We had to carry our drinks to the Power Station. Otherwise, it was a good experience.”

“One of my fav locations! Easy to grab a drink before I get on the highway. The staff is always friendly & welcoming. They make it known that they remember my face & are personable without being too much. The line usually moves quickly. All the drinks I’ve had from here tasted delicious. Really big fan of the frozen fuels, especially since they have more caffeine than their iced ones. And when I say big fan, I mean obsessed, I can’t drink an iced fuel ever again lol the frozen ones taste so good!

Sometimes around 12pm the line moves slower, which seems to be a staffing issue as there’s only 1 person working, Blackrock please do better & support your staff! There should be 2 employees during lunchtime! The staff on duty is always a busy bee, whipping out the orders as fast as they can but when a car orders 4+ drinks, everyone else in line waits so long since there’s only so much 1 person can do.”

“Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.”

Cozy nooks for reading or visiting, great little “pubs” for a libation, a fun gift shop, and excellent restaurants. We were a group of 3 couples, and sharing “room tours” was a highlight. Watch for surprises hidden in the fabulous artwork. The grounds are gorgeous and a soak in the hot pool is a must. I appreciated the lack of TV’s in the rooms.”

“Lucky start is one of the many food carts at Troutdale food station that serves Chinese cuisine. Their food is always fresh and delicious. “They changed their menu and switched over to an egg batter versus the former buttermilk batter. The buttermilk batter chicken tenders were amazing! They brought a sense of nostalgia when biting into the generously-cut, CRISPY, juicy chicken tenders. The buttermilk batter was what made the tenders soo delicious.
Now…they taste like any other place where I’ve had chicken tenders. They’re not bad, just not anywhere nearly as great as their former self. It was disappointing because the crispiness was no longer there, they reduced the portion size, removed most of the delicious dipping sauces but their worst move was switching to an egg batter. Go back to the old buttermilk batter recipe. This is what made Kickin chicken stand out as having the best tenders in Oregon.”

“Hands down the BEST chicken biryani I’ve ever tried. I drive 40+ minutes 1-2 times a week just to get it because it’s so good. You get so much that we split it between two people and it fills us both up. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants but none of them compare to this one. Great prices and even better food.”

“I don't do fast food often, but when I'm craving a great deluxe cheeseburger and don't feel like making it at home, this is my spot. Their double cheeseburger with veggies (#5) is the best drive thru burger in the area in my opinion. Fresh and juicy patties, good cheese and veggies, and a soft and chewy bun. Yum! The team at this location is efficient and accurate and I really appreciate that. They haven't let me down yet! Bummed that they discontinued their amazing corn dogs but I'm just a weird duck I guess. Seems like almost all my favorites at different restaurants aren't selling well enough to stand the test of time (including the double decker taco, green burrito, BK broiler, and many more).
Anyways, as far as local DQ's are concerned, this is the stand out location. I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed here!”
