This was my second trip to the Edgefield and it did not disappoint. The building evokes a feeling of nostalgia for a time gone by. Cozy nooks for reading or visiting, great little “pubs” for a libation, a fun gift shop, and excellent restaurants. We were a group of 3 couples, and sharing “room tours” was a highlight. I met my family here as a starting point for our reunion. We had lunch at the Loading Dock Grill. No line. Service was good and so was the food. If we had more time, we would have definitely stayed longer. Lots to see and do.

Great spot and some cool art. The bartender tonight did not open on time by a long shot. I bet he is a great bartender but horrible time planning when you are only open 12 hours total each week. People want to be in there, time to step up your game.
