“The food is fresh, high quality, tastes good, plated very well. More like home cooked meal. Customer service is excellent. They take pride in this business.“

“So, I’ve been here a handful of times since during Covid, and I gotta say, they knock it out of the park every time. That chowder? Must have. I just had some last night. That was leftover from Sunday night, and microwaved. Still phenomenal.“
“We were there for a wedding reception in the top of the Power station but did go up all three floors of the main building. The walls are painted with murals and quotes everywhere. It is really cool to see and there is a map of the full acreage of the place. It has cool history and a great garden with paper bush plants blooming at the end of winter / early spring that provide a great fragrance 😍“

“We were recommended to visit McMenamins Edgefield while in the Portland area and I'm glad we did! Such an awesome campus full of different bars and restaurants. We ate at the Power Station Pub and it was delicious - loved the space and great service.“

“Food is great! Staff was helpful and the experience was good. Only complaint is there is no child changing table in either the men’s or women’s restrooms.“

“We attended McMenamin’s Wassail Cider fest in January so we wanted to try more of their ciders and this is what popped up online. We got the cider flight and the red wine flight, both of which were really good. However, the wine flight they gave us 2 of the 4 glasses, then told us to come back to the back for the other 2, which was a bit weird and honestly I wasn’t a fan of. The service was also pretty lackluster, it was walk up service, which seems to be pretty common in the PNW so we’ve grown accustomed to it, but when its walk up service, I expect a little more when I do come to the bar to order. There were two employees, a blonde woman that I’d guess was in her 20s and a middle aged gentleman. The woman was very nice and enthusiastic and seemed eager to help, but the man seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid serving guests; when I returned to the bar for the second half of our wine flight, he noticed me, but proceeded to drink water, pace around, look in the storage closet, take a step towards me, turn around, take his sweatshirt off, look around again, then finally came up. As a bartender myself, it seemed like all the things that someone does when they don’t want to help a guest, so they try to waste as much time as possible until another co-worker comes to help them. The vibe was pretty cool being in the basement with glass windows all around so you could see the wine barrels, but it was a bit too dark in my opinion, which made it seem kind of dingy being in the basement. I also wasn’t a fan that when you walk in, there are no signs or menus, just brochures advertising other McMenamin’s properties, and the bar is very small with standing room only and very crowded. It reminded me of a busy college bar where I had to fight through to order drinks, but in this case I had to do that just to see a menu, let alone order a drink; not exactly the experience I want from a tasting room. Overall though, it was still unique experience and I’m sure it would be really cool to stay on property, but I don’t think I’d go back.“
“Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.“

“You want a cool experience? This is the place! You have happening bars, winery, distillery, pool hall and niche spaces for every taste. Great food, service and really helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are unique. No phone or TV but really that not why you come here. The artwork is very Oregon. If you are really lucky there is live concerts and music on weekends. Don’t forget to visit the soaking tub! Within easy reach of Portland, Portland airport and area sightseeing.“

“I’ve been coming here for 5 years off and on. Always love when I get a load coming out this way cause I know I get to treat myself to great Chinese food. The taste and portions have never wavered. Always good quality and great hospitality. The ginger beef and pot stickers are my favorites.“

“Came for a later breakfast. They had ran out of the morning pastries by that time so early bird gets the cinnamon roll. But everything else was well prepared and service was attentive and caring. Would recommend for dining at any time of day.“

“We traveled in out of town and ate at a couple of the restaurants on the main strip in Troutdale, and this was hands down the best. Super chill and upbeat environment, the young man who served us was super kind and attentive to our table. The miso soup here was genuinely one of the best I've ever had, and the quality of the rest of the food was great too. I'm glad I managed to snap a picture for this review before I ate it all!“
