“This is a quant authentic German restaurant run exclusively by Otto and Anita, they cook everything themselves in the back. Anita makes all the baked goods and they even make their own salad dressing. The food was delicious. Not many vegetarian items but the Dill Soup was the star, and paired nicely with their house salad. The desserts and baked goods all looked very nice. I enjoyed the German Spezi soda. The staff is super friendly and the whole experience was warm and unique. I highly recommend it.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

Nothing is hidden or muddled; the recipe is full bodied, served insanely quick, and with the hospitality of an old friend you haven't seen in years (big shoutout to one-man army Mr. Makoto Yoshino). If you're a veteran that's ever been stationed in Japan, pair this up with Jinro and a Page 11 and it's like you're back in Oki! Iced oolong tea with sugar was lightly floral and sweet.

Price was better than I expected for the quality and portion.

The service was spot-on, the food arrived in record time, and that ramen? Sheer perfection. The broth was a flavor bomb, the chashu was tender and divine, and those noodles? Freshly made and sublime. We left feeling like we just discovered ramen nirvana.“
