“We have traveled all over the world and eaten at a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and fast food. I only say this because it is to emphasize what comes next. This is one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we have had in a long time.

The food is excellent. I had the pot roast and my husband had the meatloaf. The pot roast was fall of the fork good! I joked with the server it was as good as my Mom’s. The server had no issues substituting for my husband’s dietary needs (veggies instead of potatoes). The food came out hot and fairly quickly.

I cannot rave about the service enough. Our server was attentive, upbeat, kind and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable, not too noisy and plenty of space for busy weekends. We had such a nice dinner we went back for breakfast. Over all, a really nice experiences.“

“Stayed in the Tabor area for a couple of weeks, and while there are so many great options nearby, we found ourselves coming back here again and again. The service was amazing. So friendly and welcoming! Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and to share the food they love. The drunken noodles were my favorite, and the mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious. Definitely a place we’ll be thinking about!“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! “Cute little place that smells like delicious food! I kept it simple with just sunny side up eggs and home fries. The eggs were a tad runny but they were so good I didn’t care. The home fries were a winner! So good and so well seasoned. I saw the eggs Benedict go out and I kind of wish I had ordered that they also looked great! A lot of regular customers come in and the staff all know them and their orders which is really cool I don’t see that too often. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating for larger parties. If you’re short on time but starving definitely stop here, good food and it’s served quickly.“

“I think putting “Italian” in your name is a bit of a stretch. Leads people to believe that one would be able to find similar baked goods as a traditional Italian bakery, which would include more bread items alongside pastries. This place is more of a patisserie. The reason I say “Italian” is a stretch is bc Real Italian Tiramisu is steeped in tradition and is made using lady fingers, or Savoiardi, not sponge cake. At minimum, One should be able to purchase lady fingers from a true Italian bakery. The food is good and so is the coffee. At best, this place is an Italian inspired Patisserie, but don’t expect to walk into a real Italian bakery.“

Iced oolong tea with sugar was lightly floral and sweet.

Price was better than I expected for the quality and portion.

“I picked a lunch spot on a total whim after flying in from Texas, then discovered the best comfort karē outside of Japan. Absolutely incredible, rich flavors that speak for themselves. Nothing is hidden or muddled; the recipe is full bodied, served insanely quick, and with the hospitality of an old friend you haven't seen in years (big shoutout to one-man army Mr. Makoto Yoshino). If you're a veteran that's ever been stationed in Japan, pair this up with Jinro and a Page 11 and it's like you're back in Oki! Seriously though, food was so good I had a borderline religious experience. 11/10 I'll always come here when I visit Portland.“
