One of the very best sushi experiences we have ever had. I was in town from San Diego, Ca. My partner brought me here for my birthday dinner as a surprise. They have top quality fish, highly professional presentation, friendly staff. I will be back for more.
(Longer English review after Japanese)This is an Edomae-style sushi restaurant located in Portland. I reserved the $125 premium omakase course menu and received 12 pieces of nigiri with 3 appetizers. Hands down the best dinner experience I had on my trip to Portland - and I went to Han Oak be Laangbaan so really the bar was high! Intimate but approachable setting, great service, and quality fish. Our chef was thoughtful and informative without being too overbearing, and we were able to have a nice family meal while learning about the ingredients and engaging with the experience. Would recommend and will be back! Not cheap but worth the price point.
