“The kitchen inconsistency is still an issue. One morning pancakes are the size of silver dollars and another morning they are the size of dinner plates. Also, be aware of the order in which parties were seated. Never a good experience to see a party who came in after your party get their food before you do. On that subject, do your best to have all the food ready to deliver to the table at the same time, even if you have to park a few dishes while you wait on the rest. Nothing fun about the last person served at the table waiting 8-10 minutes for their food while the others have theirs.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. She ordered the chicken strips and I had the steak. Both were properly cooked and appealing. Staff was friendly starting with the greeting as we came in. It was a weekday so it was rather empty and peaceful at the time. Background music was pleasant. We learned about then from their sponsorship of Outlaw Country music radio. Our only suggestion may be adding more decorations to give it a more distinctive character. (She made me add this. :-) ) We look forward to coming back again.”

“My husband and I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowls, they were absolutely delicious and extremely affordable!!! They were $9.99 and it was a good sized portion. My husband got full from his bowl, I could only eat half. They aren't at all rude here, actually very nice and polite, just not too open to conversation. I highly recommend eating here!”

“Happiness is getting you car tires rotated and suddenly craving fried chicken, only to discover there is a Krispy Krunchy Chicken location within walking distance from your house.

Ok, so it’s inside a local convenience store so I wasn’t holding out for any Michelin Stars, but a craving is a craving. Headed there and hoped for the best. It was DELICIOUS. And the service was first rate. This little store is a hidden gem right in my neighborhood.

Chicken hot, juicy and cooked to perfection. Potato wedges hot and fresh. Sweet biscuits were “oh my fantastic!”

Some times the planets do align. Shop local. You might just find exactly what you’re craving.”

“I’ve been going to this Chinese restaurant in downtown Washougal for years and finally realized I should leave them a review. I grew up in New York, and Chinese food has always been one of my favorite cuisines, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to finding a good spot.

This is honestly the best Chinese food I’ve found in Clark County. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent, and the staff is so darn nice every time I come in. It just feels like a great local place that actually cares about its customers.

My favorite thing to order is the salt and pepper squid. It’s crispy, full of flavor, and always hits the spot. If you’re looking for great Chinese food in Washougal or the Camas area, this place is absolutely worth checking out.”

“I’m an every day regular at the Washougal location and I love your coffee! However, over the past few weeks there’s been a change in how many staff members are working first thing in the morning…there used to be two staff members there around 7:30am when I’d pop in for my morning coffee and now there is only one and it is absolutely not fair nor doable to the employee working or to us customers…there have been multiple times I’ve had to leave the store without ordering a coffee due the long wait of customers and the times I have been able to order I’ve been waiting 10-15min for my coffee. I know this is not a Starbucks (which I hate lol) and I certainly don’t mind a little longer wait for a good cup of coffee but the wait times are a bit ridiculous and it’s all do to understaffing. I want to be a Compass Coffee Customer for a long time to come but I won’t be able to if something doesn’t change. Thank you for listening.”
