“Today I ordered a sub for pickup through the app on my partner's phone and requested that my sandwich be made with extra love and let me tell you, THERE WAS SO MUCH LOVE. What was presented to me wasn't a mere sandwich BUT A WORK OF ART and I'm genuinely almost sad I had to eat it. Whoever was working today, I applaud you and thank you for your effort and craftsmanship that went into that sub. I always look to appreciate the little things in life and as a night shift bartender working my weekly weekend open I was feeling a bit choppy to say the least and this sub breathed a second wind into my lungs. Cheers to ya'll, I look forward to the next time I get a sub from this store!! ?”

“Mr Compadre (aka Señor Buddy) is part of an impressive parque de carritos in Fairview called the Fairview Fork. The facility includes ample indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and even a stage for karaoke et al.

To the tacos, though. The carnitas tacos were delicious, everything sparkling fresh and the meat itself a mix of crisped edges and unctuous tender bits. I appreciated the radishes and plentiful lime wedges.

The unexpected highlight here was the chile toreado. In my experience this is usually a deep fried whole chile. At Mr Compadre they split a large jalapeño and sear it on the plancha with some onion petals and plenty of salt. The chile and onions soak up the glaze left by the carnitas. It was easily the best tasting chile toreado I’ve had, and now I am curious how widely their preparation differs. I guess I am fixing to find out.

“Went in after driving by today. The woman assisting me was kind, polite, and helpful. The baked goods smelled amazing and I had to get a chicken piroshki (I think and/or my spelling is off) and it was the best food I’ve had in over a year (and I’m a serious foodie). I’m going back to get some fresh bread they had on display and to explore and educate myself on Russian food, which I know nothing about. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to eat amazingly tasty, fresh food!”

I had never been here before, my husband & I usually go to the fork for the mexican food but our littles dont care for it. So I placed an online order for the orange chicken & rice. It was ready in 10 minutes, super hot, fresh & not only the best orange chicken we have all ever had, the portion was huge!!! We will absolutely be going back to this place”

“We have been frequenting this spot for a few years now. Never disappointed with the quality. Our go to is the chicken yakisoba and teriyaki chicken plate. We almost always get the gyoza.Never failed us with freshness and flavor, super filling and value for the price. I can always make 2 meals out of the yakisoba.”

“We stopped here for dinner on our way back from Montana, a glorious 14-hour drive. We were done driving and the kids wanted pizza so we stopped at this Papa Murphy's in troutdale. The service was great. The food was wonderful. Brought it home and cooked and it lasted for several meals. The store was extremely clean and they were very attentive to needs. This location gets an a+ from me based on my most recent visit”

It is kid friendly, they have tables and booths and it's dim inside. My only complaint was that it felt like I was inside of a freezer the whole time I was there recently. I almost went to my car and got a blanket. ”
