The prices are 100% worth the portions, quality, and taste of the food here. I am obsessed with their vegan options, and obsessed with the quality of the fish when I stray away from plant-based. If you’re in the mood for good sushi, this is the place to go.“

“This place is special. We had a piece of bluefin that was shear perfection. Also, a deep friend scallop was incredible. Everything was great. The only thing is the tasting menu isn’t a ton of food, I wouldn’t go too hungry. Or if you’re still hungry you can order more after the tasting menu.“

“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“I would love to give this place five stars. They're are often not open during their scheduled business hours. I've been here multiple times in the last few weeks at 12:00, which is when they say they open yet they are closed. I'm sitting here right now at 12:15 and their food truck is closed.“

“While visiting Portland, I came across Momoji, a small sushi restaurant that turned out to be a great find. Even though it's not a big place, the quality of the food really stood out. The sushi rolls were fresh, flavorful, and made with care. My favorite was the Salem Roll, which had an awesome combination of ingredients and tasted fantastic. I also decided to try the sushi burrito since it was something different from my usual order. It was unique, packed with fresh ingredients, and much more filling than I expected. I ended up finishing the whole thing. The staff was friendly, my food came out quickly, and the overall experience was excellent. I always enjoy finding small local restaurants that put so much effort into their food, and this place definitely did. If you're in Portland and looking for good sushi, Momoji is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm back in Oregon to try even more from the menu.“

“I tried SushiLove for the first time today (Oregon City location) and I am hooked! The service and food were amazing. I couldn't decide what I wanted to try first, so I ordered a half order of the Glazed and Confused, half order of the Mother of Dragons and an order of the Starry Inari. SO SO good! My new go-to place. As someone with Celiac, I love that I can have this Sushi without any worries! Even the little soy sauce packet was gluten free. ❤“

I always get the spicy edamame and the Cherry Blossom roll. It’s the all time best sushi roll in my opinion. Please run, don’t walk, to Nori for a late lunch/dinner.“

“I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. “I have read some of the trashy comments in the 1 and 2 star reviews. Most of the lambasting comments I find fault. Are they as fresh as Mizumi in Tigard, probably not, but neither are 99% of the restaurants in Portland metro. I find the seasoning quite authentic. I find the food variety unmatched in Portland. I would love some of their recipes! The ***clown that faulted them for selling produce and other fare near the check out, obviously have never been to a Chinatown or to China. The trolling is totally uncalled for. This is a nice, appearing to be, a family operation with love and care put into the restaurant. We frequent this location and do not find any of those horrible comments to have any truth.“
