“This place had the most amazing sushi we have ever tasted! a little bit of a wait to get it, but we took that as a food sign because everything is so fresh. The restaurant itself is very clean and had very nice staff. great for date nights!“

“After googling multiple East Asia restaurants to dine at the winner was Tasty Teriyaki!
When walking in I immediately felt a warm homey vibe!
I was greeted and ordered within seconds upon walking in.
Today I ordered:
(Appetizer)
Spring Rolls
Fried vegetable spring rolls with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
Four come in the order and they are cooked to perfection, flakey yet the perfect crunch!
(Main Dish)
Tofu Teriyaki
Stir-fried tofu in teriyaki sauce with two scoops of rice and salad!
The portion size is definitely worth every penny!
The tofu was cooked to perfection as well as the rice and cabbage blend.
My pallet was shocked at how each entree complimented the other.
The service was amazing as well as the food!
It was exceptionally clean as well as a peaceful and homie place to eat!
When I come back through the area I will for sure be stopping in to have another meal here!
Thanks for the amazing food!

“5 stars for the food and the Teppanyaki chef. He was great and food was really yummy! 2 stars for the other server (Hispanic female?) Clearly didn't know her menu and quoted (and charged) incorrect pricing for beer and even delivered the wrong beer. Nowhere on my receipt did it say the word "Sapporo", yet that's what I got. Her response was "Oh, well, you asked about an entirely different beer." Yeah, I did ask... so? I didn't really understand that one either?!?!Know your menu... It's really not that big or complicated! Nothing ruins a great (yet pretty expensive) night out more than a server who ether doesn't know what they're doing or is just lazy/sloppy. Take pride in your craft!“

“Hands down the best sushi I’ve had to far in the PDX area. Not even a contest. We got salads, rolls, baked mussels (my FAVORITE thing here), the shogun sushi tower as shown in photos is to LIVE for. We got absolutely mesmerizingly lost in every single bite of this meal. The rolls are absolutely melty and decadent. 10000 stars. ✨“

“Every time I’ve been here they are super nice, and the poke bowl is fresh and delicious. They never try to hurry you when you’re looking at all the options on the menu. I also love the complimentary miso soup and wide selection of drink options. Best poke bowl place in the greater Portland area.
Vegetarian options: The tofu is very yummy, most places overfry tofu making it tough and chewy, but I like this place a lot
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options“

Staff is kind and attentive. The waitress was making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed.
I ordered the California roll, crunch munch and the lion king! All were fantastic with fabulous flavor!
Kid-friendliness: I didn’t have children in my party but a party near me hand two children and the staff treated them well while they were trying different foods and flavors.“

“I wish I took some pics, this sushi was fabulous. We sat at the conveyor belt so I was able to view the dishes and they were all very well prepared. More importantly everything was so fresh and tasty. I didn't get the poke bowl but I saw someone with one and it look very good. I definitely will be going back. The only negative is the parking was a bit challenging.“

“The food is good and at a reasonable price. It's such a cozy little spot, too. I have never been to Japan, but I could totally see this being a nice little hole in the wall in Tokyo. Seating looks out onto Barbur Blvd, and it would be so nice to just gaze out on a rainy day eating good sushi here.“

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.“

“I almost don't want to rave about this place, for fear it will become too popular. But this place is great. It isn't just another belt full of stuff swimming in sriracha and mayo and jalapeños. The rolls are complex and tasty, and the rice---they must use the best rice anywhere. Prices are good, especially considering what you get for your money.“

“Absolutely hands-down the BEST sushi in Portland! The rolls are extremely creative and loaded with fish. We haven’t found one we didn’t like yet! The fish is always super fresh and I have never gotten a headache from it. Sometimes other restaurants don’t serve the best quality fish and it has mercery which gives me headaches. Kevin the owner, loves his customers and believes in providing the best service paired with the freshest ingredients! He also carries hard to find fish like bluefin tuna, escolar and simply the best Uni we’ve ever had! I’m 100% positive if you go you will love it just as much as we do! Our favorite include - sashimi plate, The Lake O roll, Blazing and MADDS! Don’t forget about the awesome salad with the green dressing too!“

“This is our families absolute favorite place to eat. The food is always fresh and amazing, the ambiance is very relaxing and plesant. The staff is very polite, attentive, and has never left us waiting. All of the food we have enjoyed here has always been put together beautifully with care. My daughter wishes we were able to leave 100 stars instead of only 5. Definitely go it's worth it.“

“So excited to have another place with vegetarian and vegan sushi in the area! The sushi was good. I do wish they would label their menu so it’s easier to know what appetizers/non-sushi items are vegetarian — there’s a ton of stuff that seems vegetarian, but it’s always hard to know if they’re using sauces or seasonings that have fish.“

“I had the BEST experience at Kona tonight! I went to the bar to grab a drink before going to my table and Stormy was bartending. She was one of the best bartenders i’ve ever had! So friendly and attentive! When I got my table Sage was my server and gave me some of the best service i’ve ever received! She always made sure my drink was full, checked up on me and made my experience so great! Give Stormy and Sage a raise they deserve it! 11/10 experience will be back.“

“We went to Kura Sushi in Beaverton for lunch - a fun, authentic Japanese style rotating sushi restaurant with digital menus, gashapon, robots that serve your drinks and water, a slot where you toss your plates for counting, etc.
We really liked it! We gave it 8.5/10 for good, fresh nigiri and rolls, fresh, rice, wasabi, and ginger, strong green tea, and even taiyaki with red beans paste and ice cream on the dessert menu. Sushi was on the small side, a little pricey for what you get at $3.95 a plate, which is sometimes a 3-piece roll or one piece of nigiri. $93 for two for lunch was a little high. Overall, we enjoyed the delightful service, the large variety of choices, and had a tasty lunch! We will be back!“

“I love sushi avenue it is my favorite place for sushi!
The food: The hurricane roll is my favorite and they even let me order it without being fried although it's absolutely delicious either way. Please note they are very accommodating just explain if you want something changed up save on the side, extra sauce , no cucumber ect. Just adk. Two other rolls I like are the Canby and wilsonville.. really it comes down to what you like their fish is good! Also bonus if you have someone who doesn't like sushi they have a really good dish called creamy chicken yaki udon noodles and is so yummy! It's thick udon noodles and chicken in a creamy sauce with vegetables: cabbage, onions, broccoli and mushroom (I might be missing a vegetable or two). They also have teriyaki chicken and other non sushi options! They do have a kids menu they have the options of sushi or bento with chicken teriyaki. Kind if limited options for kiddos.
The restaurant: One thing I will say is that the entrance area is pretty small, but dine in is usually doable, and of course you can always get it to go. It's in a strip mall and is just a small business nothing fancy here but delicious food!! Easy parking they do have a parking lot. 😊
The service: It is great! Nice staff and reasonable wait time. You will not find your water glass empty here! Also they are very kind if you want a roll made a certain way they are so kind and accommodating!
Pictures will be added next time I go!! Cheers!“

“This is a favorite sushi go-to for my kids since the food is always ready to go when your shirt on time and it’s always consistently good.
They will make sushi to order so if you don’t see what you want on the conveyor belt don’t be shy to put in an order for what you’re craving.“

“I recently visited Mio Sushi and had a very pleasant dining experience. I opted for the Bento box, which included ribs, teriyaki salmon, and a tempura mix. Each component of the Bento was well-prepared, but the highlight for me was definitely the teriyaki salmon. It was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and is something I would recommend to anyone visiting. While the restaurant itself is fairly standard, the food quality and service were solid. Mio Sushi provides a good dining experience that reliably meets expectations without necessarily exceeding them. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a dependable sushi place with tasty options.I’m reserving my 5-star reviews for places that truly wow me, but Mio Sushi earns a strong 4 stars for its consistent quality and enjoyable meals. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for some good sush“

“We ordered sushi burritos from this food cart, which had recently increased their prices by $5. We were hesitant to order at first, but we caved because we were craving them and one of us had never tried them before. The service was great! They were out of chicken, but they offered to make us a custom burrito for a small upcharge. However, they later found that they had enough chicken after all, so we didn't have to pay extra. The wrap itself didn't hold up very well. It came apart a few times, which made eating the burrito a bit messy. The seaweed didn't wrap around the sushi fully, which also contributed to the messiness. The parchment paper was also a bit weak, which made it difficult to hold the burrito together.Overall, the food was delicious and filling. However, we don't think it's worth the new price of $15 for a food cart item. We would be more likely to order it again if it was priced at $12. The price increase from $10 to $15 is a bit steep, and we think it's not quite worth the extra money for a food cart item.“

“Best conveyor belt sushi in town. I feel it's a bit spendy at regular price at $25-$30 per person. If you go for happy hour where all plates are $3, then it's a bargain and a sushi dream.
Portions are generous. I like the salmon toro and escolar. The variety is pretty good for a conveyor belt sushi. It's 100 times better than the one at Canyon Shopping Center.“
