“The best poke in town! A must try!! I love how fresh everything is and their big selection. They give a large portion too and the service is always friendly! I also love that they are using reusable cups, spoons, bowls, but wish that they would consider reusable forks and chopsticks as well.Dietary restrictions: A great place to eat gluten-free. Make sure you tell them at the beginning!“
“I am convinced that Portland is experiencing a sushi renaissance, and Koya Sushi is a shining example of this culinary revival. Regarding fish quality, I'd place it in the top 5 (at least) in the Portland metro. On both my visits so far, service was outstanding, the fish was exceptionally fresh and well-prepared, and the overall dining experience fantastic. You definitely won't find better Ikura or Takoyaki around here, that's for sure.Any sushi enthusiast should consider it a must to visit Koya.“
“Fresh!!! So good. Very busy but that's great because you know the food is moving and fresh. Excellent options and everything we've tried was delicious. Great place to try new dishes, too. Service is super friendly and informative.Vegetarian options: Easy veggie options“
“I wish I could give Sushi Town more than a 5 star review. For a conveyer belt sushi place, the fish is ALWAYS super fresh. We absolutely love the place and people! I recommend trying the seared salmon, fire storm roll (if you like spicy), sashimi combo.Dietary restrictions: My fiance is celiac gluten free and they always accommodate us with making rolls and sashimi with now sauce.“
“This is one of my favorite sushi spots for lunch. I have never had anything bad here. For the price it is hard to beat. Your food can be slow to arrive depending on the crowd but it seems worth it based on quality compared to conveyor bars.“
“We ordered sushi burritos from this food cart, which had recently increased their prices by $5. We were hesitant to order at first, but we caved because we were craving them and one of us had never tried them before. The service was great! They were out of chicken, but they offered to make us a custom burrito for a small upcharge. However, they later found that they had enough chicken after all, so we didn't have to pay extra. The wrap itself didn't hold up very well. It came apart a few times, which made eating the burrito a bit messy. The seaweed didn't wrap around the sushi fully, which also contributed to the messiness. The parchment paper was also a bit weak, which made it difficult to hold the burrito together.Overall, the food was delicious and filling. However, we don't think it's worth the new price of $15 for a food cart item. We would be more likely to order it again if it was priced at $12. The price increase from $10 to $15 is a bit steep, and we think it's not quite worth the extra money for a food cart item.“
“I have been a loyal customer in this place forever since the pandemic. Staffs always so friendly and nice. Five stars for very clean spot. Food is always fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a late night dine-in, this place is a must!“
“super friendly staff and awesome manager who didn't blink an eye and replaced my mom and aunts order to accommodate their health conditions. bomb food and and super fast serve time. will be back again Special shout out to Damont for being an awesome manager!“
“The menu has so many flavors to offer and the miso cod is phenomenal. For the price, the portions could be more. Everything is so fresh and flavorful, with lots of options available. As always the green machine was my go-to and it never disappoints. We keep coming back!“
“Borderline 4-5 star place, pretty good sushi for a conveyor belt place. Both the raw and cooked were good. The service was reasonably good and place was clean. I would definitely come back again. Bill was high but it is what u expect now for eating out.Kid-friendliness: Kids will like it here“
“I almost don't want to rave about this place, for fear it will become too popular. But this place is great. It isn't just another belt full of stuff swimming in sriracha and mayo and jalapeños. The rolls are complex and tasty, and the rice---they must use the best rice anywhere. Prices are good, especially considering what you get for your money.“
“This place has some of the best Japanese food I've had outside Japan. Everything was fresh and tasty. Prices are great for the quality. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It wasn't quiet, but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't use normal conversation volume to talk. My only problem was trying to decide what of my many options to get. Even my 6 year old had plenty of things off the kids menu and appetizer menu she wanted to try. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu.Parking: Shared lot for a bunch of little stores and restaurants. Even when places are busy there's always some parking.Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs. The kids menu, appetizer menu, and yakitori menu are of comparable price for the amount of food so there's plenty of variety my kid could choose from.“
“Simply a very refined and creative sushi menu. Many of the items here are completely unique and others feature fish/meat that is hard to find. Some of the prices here are high, but I believe the dishes are worth it. The service is also quick and always friendly. This might be the only restaurant I've been to in the last five years that hasn't messed up any order requests I've asked for. I can be picky and they always get it right! Beautiful presentations with flowers and elaborate plating, a stunning interior, and great sunset views make a meal here an experience.“
“The food was amazing. Yes the price is a little higher than other places but the quality is the best. I have yet to find a sushi restaurant that serves it as good as here and it's not even close. The service was top notch as well. I will be coming back here and recommending it to others as well. A++“
