“Favorite place to eat. Great sushi and service. Fresh, made to order by menu. Highly recommended by a friend who was a frequent diner. Spicy tuna rolls, ninja rolls without the jalepenos, spider rolls, and yellowtail rolls are top choices. Happy hour is happy for eating more. Thank you to the staff and sushi chefs, especially the kitchen staff. Support your local businesses. We'll see you next time!
Parking: Approximately 50-100 spots. I can't count.
Kid-friendliness: There are a few booths for family.“

“Summery: I rated 5 stars for quality of freshness, taste, friendliness, amazing covered climate controlled environment, service speed, and price.I've gone here a handful of times and had the sushi burritos and the sushi donuts. They have tasty rolls, and you can order each option as a refreshing Poke bowl. The service is friendly, and I get my food quickly.Any option has been delicious. My personal favorite is the Tsunami, as a burrito. If you like a bit of spicy jalapeño, this sushi burrito is cool, fresh, delicious, along with a nice crunch from the cabbage. Exceptional. The environment is at Willamette Garage, which has an option for indoor eating with a bar attached. Great drinks, climate controlled. However, I'm drawn to their outdoor seating. It's covered with a roof, and the seating has options for benches with heater elements above or to sit at the benches with gas flame features. It's super nice, and I love the energy every time I'm there. Buzzing into the evening.“

“Atmosphere is not bad, a touch spartan, but I liked the roominess … lovely instrumental jazz piped in at a good volume, lots of sunlight, and comfy chairs. The lone server/cook was busy, but welcoming and polite.I had the Chicken Katsu bento meal.It had a nice mix of items …The miso soup was on point! The broth was rich and flavorful. The salad was fresh and I liked the tangy mayo dressing. The shrimp tempura was perfectly cooked and tender, and I loved the Salem roll.I chose the Lychee Fizzy Chi sparkling water … loved it!My only disappointment was that the Chicken Katsu was a little overcooked … the thicker pieces of meat were good, but the thinner pieces were a little tough …Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would like to try more of the sushi rolls the next time I am in the area.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for traditional and motorized wheelchairs. No ramp needed.“

“Best ngiri possible. This picture shows 4 orders of ngiri. Fish flown in from Japan and New Zealand.
Maitake mushroom chawanmushi was world class.
The sushi rolls were also out of this world.
We will be back.
Not cheap, but so what... Splurge.“

“The sushi was fresh and good options. Atmosphere is tight inside with outside seat options but I don’t believe it was covered, inside was too warm for us to sit inside, it is a small strip mall store vibe. Service is slow so may not want to pick this place if in a hurry. Despite the atmosphere and slow service the food was great and prices were very reasonable.“

“I’m a huge ramen fan and my spicy seafood ramen last night (my first visit) was among the best ramen I’ve had. This is a bold statement in Portland, but it’s better than Afuri. (And less expensive.). Abundant seafood. Excellent noodles and perfect spice level. Great service. Vegan options. Not horribly busy (yet). And Japanese American owned and operated. Their sushi was good; their ramen is better. I’ll be back soon and often!“

“I would love to give this place five stars. They're are often not open during their scheduled business hours. I've been here multiple times in the last few weeks at 12:00, which is when they say they open yet they are closed. I'm sitting here right now at 12:15 and their food truck is closed.“

“I was craving some sushi and bomba and thankfully this is right across the street from my place. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious. The mango boba I got was so good! It is sometimes hard to find good, fresh boba. The real star of the show was the spam masubi. The spam was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was very friendly, we will definitely be back!“

“probably the best sushi in Portland as far as I'm concerned. My brother and I biked 14 miles in the morning so this was our lunch stop. It so it was yummy and filling and gave us that afternoon boost to bike back home to DT Portland. We came from the Johnson Trail and it's right off the bike path and it's a great destination for bicyclists who need that pick me up lunch before they start again for the afternoon ride. Their new sushi item the TNT was outstanding, Spicy Goyza awesome just enough spice, but not too spicy, and we got plain Edemamee. The place is inside the Oriental Market. Once you enter the market, the restaurant is on your left. It comes across as an unassuming little restaurant and I was blown away by the quality of the ingredients. I'm trying for a bike tour and I would came back again for that lunch fillup as part of my training. Plus if you are looking for yummy snacks for your bike trip, this is the place to go. The Market carries Asian snacks and desserts some are individually packaged for easy storage on your bike bag. Some snacks have no added sugar too. We bought the Puff Cakes and Banana Bread and they were sooooooo good. So it was a 2 for 1. Get your lunch at Delish Kitchen and then get your snacks to resume your afternoon bike ride.
Parking: open spaces 1st come 1st serve. Plenty of spots.
Wheelchair accessibility: to get into the store it's automatic doors that open and it's all on the 1st floor. easy access for wheel chair users. Plenty of space in the restaurant area to move around if you do have a chair. Maybe you might need to ask to move a chair so you can wheel in. Staff was really professional and friendly. I'm sure they will help.“

“The food is good and at a reasonable price. It's such a cozy little spot, too. I have never been to Japan, but I could totally see this being a nice little hole in the wall in Tokyo. Seating looks out onto Barbur Blvd, and it would be so nice to just gaze out on a rainy day eating good sushi here.“

“The food was wonderfully displayed and tasted delicious. The server was new but she was very patient and friendly with my family and two young children. It was a great dinner experience.“
“Excellent quality, wonderful personality on their chief who will present the dishes as she is fixing them and will do a custom order on the spot if needed and if she is in The rice is not to dry or wet, and firmly packed like I like it. The meat has been consistently fresh and well flavored and the veggies crisp or the avocado consistently fresh as well. Well done overall.“
“I tried SushiLove for the first time today (Oregon City location) and I am hooked! The service and food were amazing. I couldn't decide what I wanted to try first, so I ordered a half order of the Glazed and Confused, half order of the Mother of Dragons and an order of the Starry Inari. SO SO good! My new go-to place. As someone with Celiac, I love that I can have this Sushi without any worries! Even the little soy sauce packet was gluten free. ❤“

“What a treat to experience a packed restaurant and still get delicious food in a timely manner, plus the burger hit the spot for those non-sushi lovers. But back to the sushi, what's not to love about the green machine. I could order all 3 varieties and be completely happy! Start your meal with the cauliflower and savor each morsel!
Kid-friendliness: We brought our two kids and it was their first time and we got the training chopsticks, which were such a treat! Thanks again Bamboo for making us feel at home!“

“Best Place for Friday Pickup Food: My wife had the spicy tuna roll. I ordered it with no sesames since my wife is allergic to them. The attendant could not quite understand me when she asked if I wanted the spicy sauce since I said Yes and it came with none. Other than that it was great. I usually order the spicy tuna but decided to try the Las Vegas roll this time - tuna, jalapeño, cream cheese, cucumber - fried. It was good, but I will go back to my spicy tuna roll next time. It only took 5 minutes or so for the order. I recommend this as a great place to stop and pickup a light dinner to eat at home with a relaxing movie.
Dietary restrictions: My wife is GF and DF.“

“This is probably my favorite sushi/poke place I have ever been to— and I have been to sushi places across North and South America, as well as Europe. The prices are 100% worth the portions, quality, and taste of the food here. I am obsessed with their vegan options, and obsessed with the quality of the fish when I stray away from plant-based. If you’re in the mood for good sushi, this is the place to go.“

“Absolutely hands-down the BEST sushi in Portland! The rolls are extremely creative and loaded with fish. We haven’t found one we didn’t like yet! The fish is always super fresh and I have never gotten a headache from it. Sometimes other restaurants don’t serve the best quality fish and it has mercery which gives me headaches. Kevin the owner, loves his customers and believes in providing the best service paired with the freshest ingredients! He also carries hard to find fish like bluefin tuna, escolar and simply the best Uni we’ve ever had! I’m 100% positive if you go you will love it just as much as we do! Our favorite include - sashimi plate, The Lake O roll, Blazing and MADDS! Don’t forget about the awesome salad with the green dressing too!“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! The rice is so good, the avocado is fresh, the miso soup is delightful, and it’s all SO CHEAP! :) I literally get dinner for like $6.50 here, you could never find that anywhere.
Also most sushi places are like this, but there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options ❤️

“I visited Ma-Kin Thai & Sushi for the first time to meet a friend for lunch, and it was a great experience! I was craving Thai fried rice, so I ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice, while my friend went with the Pad Kee Mao. Both dishes were delicious--perfectly flavored and cooked, though I could have asked for mine to be a bit spicier! The service was quick and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back to try the roast duck fried rice next time!“

“Sushi Kata is a long established Milwaukie Japanese kitchen serving truly authentic Japanese dishes at a reasonable price, even for the current economy!
I spent a number of years in various prefectures of Japan and Sushi Kata brings the flavors and quality of the food back to me each time I go there.
From the sashimi and nigiri, rolls and hand rolls, to the katsu curry and thick udon noodles. Sushi Kata is the best Japanese food experience you'll find in the Portland area. Others may have a prettier atmosphere, but if it's authentic Japanese cuisine you are looking for, Sushi Kata is the place.“

“Tokis is always a solid bet. The food is consistent and the owners are very grateful for your business. I typically dine on the spicy combo or the combo ramen. The ramen has a good base with a good amount of protein, the noodles are similar to what you'd find in package ramen. However, If you're looking for japanese ramen this is not it, but again the dish is tasty. My wife will order the chicken teriyaki or the vegetable tempura. The cucumber salad is simple but always refreshing. The service at Tokis is friendly and welcoming.“

“I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. It's some of the best Japanese food we've had in the Happy Valley/Clackamas area in a long time. We will definitely be back!“
