“It has been super hard to find good sushi near where I live, but this place delivered! And it's an authentic Japanese restaurant ( our server was Japanese and very nice, the back of the menu was also in Japanese). “I don't live in Beaverton, but I shop and eat in the area monthly. I haven't eaten at every local Vietnamese restaurant yet, but I'm getting close! I wish I had tried this joint sooner, and I think it's my favorite so far! I really like Bun (vermicelli bowls) and I had the one with shrimp, pork, and spring rolls. Most places just salt the food or season lightly and depend on the grill for flavor...these chefs season the meat and shrimp beautifully, and the handmade spring rolls were fantastic all alone. I was pretty involved with my food and I completely forget what my dining partner had, but we both loved it and will make a point of returning. Don't sleep on this place, it's better than many other choices nearby!“

Got the alpastor, carnitas, barbacoa and chorizo tacos. Absolutely WONDERFUL. The alpastor has actual chunks of pineapple in it that is one of the greatest things I've ever eaten. Tacos are THREE dollars a piece. Great price and an absolute must stop!“

The heat is definitely there, but it’s balanced with so much flavor—it’s the kind of spice that keeps you going back for another bite, not running for water. The plate came with rice, beans, and handmade corn tortillas, which really brought everything together and made the price feel more than fair. Every bite felt comforting and satisfying.

“Found a gem for authentic Korean food! 🇰🇷 The cold noodles were incredible—perfectly al dente with a delicious, subtly spicy broth. The blood sausage appetizer was super tasty and came in a very generous portion. Bonus points for the great over-table ventilation setups for Korean BBQ! Service can be a little stretched during rush hours, but it feels like a family-run spot that I 100% support.“

“We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Khao Soy and they're both pretty good: The Pad Kee Mao is flavorful and has incredible wok he, and the Khao Soy is very rich, creamy, and aromatic. Both were served hot as well, which is perfect!

However, the service and the dining environment were not too good. The Staff was not very good at English, which caused a lot of confusions during the ordering step. e.g., even though I emphasized that I'd like my Khao Soy spicier, it somehow still came out as 'mild'...There're also some problems in their AC system (either it's borken or they didn't turn it on) - it's super hot in the room, and we kept sweating when finishing up our meals...The staff also never came to our table to fill up our waters and was also not very welcoming. If they can further improve these two catogories in the future, I believe their business will get better and better :)“

“Was told about this “secret” restaurant with little signage, weird hours, that you had to get there before opening to secure a seat. Excited to try, we got there 15 min prior to opening and indeed, 7-10 before opening, we saw someone going in so we opened the door and they were seating people. By opening time they were nearly full. Our excitement was seemingly validated by the opening rush.

Atmosphere was clean, staff were friendly. The menu looked delicious. The food however, hmm. We got their signature ramen, which is $18.50. It was ok. The broth wasn’t as rich as other ramens I’ve had in the area but had some unique flavors. The cubed pork belly in the soup was tender but slightly bland. The sliced chashu was ok but only 1-2 pieces in each bowl. There were limited veggies in the soup too, I prefer more. Didn’t like the fine angel-hair noodles, I prefer a thicker noodles at other places. Overall the ramen at FuddoYama or Lucky Cat is a lot better. Even Ramen Ryoma inside Uwajimaya was better, despite them not even having tonkatsu.

We also got some sides. A small bowl of rice was $5. Edamame was $8 which is pricey, but when it arrived, it was the smallest edamame serving I’ve ever seen. There was literally a child’s size handful only. $8 felt like robbery. The other sides, fried tofu and karrage chicken were delicious, but also priced at nearly an entree but the portion size was on the smaller size. Spent over $90 for two adults and a young child who only ate a couple sides and didn’t leave full. Something is wrong with that picture.

Overall, was meh. Probably won’t return. Overhyped and overpriced. I’m all for hidden gems but I don’t understand the buzz about this place. I eat ramen 1-2 times a week and have tried I think every place that serves ramen on the west side. The best tasting ramen and best value in town is Lucky Cat ramen full stop. And it’s only $12.
All you other restaurants need to step up your game.“

“I love that the vegetables are always fresh. I you are a meat eater, they have 4 different choices. The sauce options are infinite and it’s a make your own adventure.
Buffet: 5 stars. Well stocked and very tidy.

“Update: I have returned to this restaurant a few times after the last review. I believe in chances, this place still serves the great good. Definitely different than your typical Kalbi beef. I've become a regular there now 😁.
We've been here around 5 or 6 times now. The food always been consistent we enjoyed that very much. But my latest visit leaves me with consideration of every giving this family own place my business again. The waitress tonight are the MOST unwelcoming individuals you can encounter. None of them greet people with a smile. I let it be they might be tired, but being a family own place you really have to want to keep your customers more than ever. They just took our order, brought the food out half-ass, I asked for bowls to share, she gave us soup CUPS to eat in. Never she came by to check if we need our water refill (after i submitted this a different waitress came to check-in) or how the food was. And this place only ⅓ filled with people so they are not busy.“
