My parents had the dairy-free strawberry and coconut water sorbet and hazelnut cookies and cream in a waffle bowl. My mom is usually indifferent to ice cream but she said this was exceptional.“

“I writhing this to let everyone know that Oyatsupan Bakers (specifically Beaverton store) is my go to place. A little background, my wife last Christmas went through a very serious set of surgeries that kept her in the hospital for a month. We preordered the Christmas set thinking we were both going to be able to enjoy it. Unfortunately I was the only one to fully enjoy the set (which was amazing btw) when I picked it up I was upset that I couldn't share it with my wife. Fast forward to today we preordered the 4th of July set . When I picked it up they remembered us! The woman who handed it to me said she hopes that my wife can enjoy it this time because she recalled our previous business. It was such a kind gesture I was speechless and could only say thank you. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. “This is a must try Viet restaurant for the Portland Metro. They have a location on the West side and East side. The quality and quantity of the Pho is great. The broth is rich. The meat is clean and tasty. The restaurant always is lively and full of customers. The only tricky part can be finding a nearby parking spot during the lunch rush. Prices are $15-20 for most meals but the price is worth it.“

The man on the phone had to deal with me laughing and wheezing because I could not remember my husband’s order, even though he’d just told me. I handed the phone to my husband, who was laughing just as hard, so he couldn’t take over completing the order. We were both silently losing it, and I could not pull myself together enough to order food.

The man on the other end was extremely patient and eventually started laughing with us, which honestly did not help 😂 but he kindly encouraged me to continue.

I am so sorry. I couldn’t help it. The laugh bug got us and we could not stop. Thank you for your patience while we completely fell apart trying to order our food.“
