She was working her buns off and was still very pleasant and accommodating. “This place is such a gem! We went for brunch last Sunday and had the Rowan breakfast sandwich, the lobster benedict, a chai latte, and a cubano. Everything was amazing! The ingredients are fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully presented. Chef Spencer is so talented and I am beyond excited that they will soon be serving dinner in addition to brunch. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was friendly and very quick. Can’t wait to come back!“

A lot of regular customers come in and the staff all know them and their orders which is really cool I don’t see that too often. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating for larger parties. “Really enjoyed our night at Decibel Lounge. The food was on point - the deviled eggs with pork belly were excellent, and the brisket tacos and banh mi were both great.

We were there on a Tuesday night and sat on the patio. Service was super attentive without being over the top. Our server was exceptional, really listened to what we liked and made some great custom suggestions. Very professional and just genuinely good at their job and the kind of place you enjoy supporting and spending money at.

The music was great and that sound system is killer. You can tell they put some thought into making this a place where the food, music and service matter.

My only regret is that I don’t live closer, because I’d definitely be back soon. But I will be back for sure🥃

This was our second stop on a Portland dumpling tour. Killer Banh Mi & Momo is a small spot in a strip mall that Google Maps seems to have a hard time navigating to... Still, we managed to slide into the parking lot eventually and parked easily. The restaurant is bright and colorful and smells terrific. There were homemade chicken pickles and homemade pork pickles in jars on the counter. Be sure to try some!
The tasting that we got with the tour included 4 dumplings; 3 vegetarian and one with chicken. All four were cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Not too hot and certainly not plain! The first momo was crispy on the outside and dressed with a chickpea and onion relish (?) that complimented the veg filling. The second momo was a bit more savory with a wrapper that had a tender bite to it. The green dumpling was about what you'd expect with dim sum, but the sauce it sat in was a complete surprise - rich and brothy with just a hint of heat. And the egg rolls were crispy and tender with a bit of sweet sauce.
We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.“

“Took some friends from out of town here and it was the highlight of their trip. The food was amazing - we ordered the tea leaf salad, shan style pork noodles, 3 piece fried chicken, and braised pork ribs. Every entree was SO good and flavorful.

The person who served our food noticed that we had 4 at the table and brought out an extra pork rib since it only came with three. That was so incredibly kind and very thoughtful!!

“Had the spiced pumpkin latte it didn’t have as much flavor as I wanted but aesthetically the latte art was perfect. I tried the sweet and spicy avocado toast which was amazing. They decorated cute for halloween and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also had desktops for laptop work. Dogs welcome inside and outside on a leash. They make drinks in reusable cups which I liked.“

The ice cream was incredible, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. A special shoutout to the manager, Maddy, and to Xander, (I hope I'm remembering the name correctly) who jumped in to help as soon as he arrived. The rest of the staff were just as friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience feel special especially when it was during a busy time.

I finally went into the restaurant after hearing about it for so long and every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had the most exquisite food with ample portions and the most satiating flavors of Italian food and wine that you could get in Portland. It is comfort food at its finest with the best local ingredients and everything is off The chart delicious. I’ve had the pizza, I’ve had pasta, and I’ve had steak twice. Everything is delicious and I can’t get enough of it. The decanting of the wine, the sides to the bread with olives and oil/vinegar. Every single thing I eat, seems to be at the highest level of ingredients with a lot of attention to detail put into everything. The vibe of the place with the uplifting atmosphere, the decor and the righteously amazing vibes of Chrissie the head bartender…makes me keep coming back for birthdays and special occasions. I actually don’t eat out very much with fast food or takeout because I save my money for this place. I can spend $20 at Taco Bell or I could spend $20 here and usually go home very full with leftovers. Chrissie can make the most delicious concoctions and she literally looks like she’s creating something magical when she comes up with something new. Her cocktails are on point yet she’s always innovating her craft. Attention to detail for every single drink. The best recommendations for what they have that night. She informed me that they bake their bread fresh every day. Foods are sourced locally and every single dish makes me want more. I’m trying to get some variety in what I order yet. The steak does it for me every time. The pizza is the best I’ve had in town and sooooo good. I’m very picky about pizza as it’s my favorite food yet this crust and the delicious cheese and greens and everything they put into their pizza is so tasty. The flavor of every single thing I have eaten makes me want to have it again and again and again. If the Italians that I know in my community, make this a regular spot, then I also know it’s good! It’s authentic righteously on point delicious food every single time I go. All my people come with me to this restaurant for special occasions. Do yourself a favor and visit Cibo! If somebody’s coming in from out of town… Take them to Cibo! To celebrate my children’s accomplishments, I take them to Cibo! I already have two reservation reservations for the first week of January and I went there last night. It’s this good! A lot of people post pictures of the food there and I’ve had every dish that I’ve seen online… But what means the most to me about this place is the whole experience of bringing My special people here to experience, uplifting vibes, delicious and exquisite food, the most incredible drinks, and an atmosphere that takes us out of our daily life and gives us such joy and pleasure to experience.
