“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “To say this company went above and beyond is an understatement. I had a baker last minute no show to a wedding I recently coordinated and within an hour and a half after talking with them we had a new wedding cake and table of desserts. WHICH WERE SUCH A HIT!! “We order at least once a week from Pioneer Family Pizza, and happily so! The food is always perfect, the service is always friendly and respectful. We have been ordering take out once a week for almost 5 years now and I don't see that routine changing! The order is always correct and at a "more than fair" price. The restaurant, while we have never actually sat, is always clean and with a cool vibe! The staff has always been super kind and that reflects on the management and ownership. We couldn't be happier to be life-long fans and customers! Thank you guys for being a part of our favorite day and dinner! You are appreciated!“

“Thai place that's kind of hole in the wall, and it's pretty good. I like to get pad woon sen, the noodles are very delicious. Pineapple fried rice was my previous go to before that, and what is good is that they will substitute brown rice so that's helpful for dietary restrictions. I'm a regular and so occasionally they have surprised me with some small snacks when I get the receipt like a mandarin or a cookie. I liked that :)

“Every time I go there I am blown away at how good the pastries are. Seriously, everything i have ordered were delicious. The flaky crunchy crusts, the cake body, the crumble tops, the fruit or almond fillings, all so good. Probably the best bakery in Portland.“

“While in Portland, we researched some of the top-rated coffee spots, and this is one that we found! We can confirm that the coffee was pretty darn good and so were the pastries. We actually ended up bumping into someone that we had met at church the day prior, so we enjoyed breakfast together--they had adequate seating on a typical, busy Monday morning. The atmosphere is really enjoyable too, and there's outdoor seating as well.“

“It's absolutely a 5 star place. This is simply a marvelous find! It is now my go to place to meet up with people and have a cozy visit. They have an entire wall of teas from which to choose, and knowledgeable, informative, and patient staff; very helpful for folks like me who don't know much about teas but are happy to learn. A marvelous ambience; warm and inviting. And in addition to the teas, they have a guitar and a piano, if you want to play, in addition to a couple shelves of family friendly games or books to be used if you're in the mood. It is such a cozy and warm place to be!“

“Slowbomb is on my regular rotation because they have great coffee and they know what to do with it. The breakfast sandwich menu makes this place a one stop shop in the morning. You can text your sandwich order in ahead of time to make your stop more efficient as well. Cookies and pup cups too!“

“I think I prefer this place over Grand Central. The sandwich that I had the tuna salad I think was superior to Grand Central and a hair cheaper. “My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts. “Having grown up in this area Bellagio’s has always been one of our top go-to’s for pizza - and West Linn is home to the first location! Lots of diverse flavor options you won’t see at big chain stores. The crust is always my favorite part of Bellagio’s - so soft and airy!
