“Thai place that's kind of hole in the wall, and it's pretty good. I like to get pad woon sen, the noodles are very delicious. Pineapple fried rice was my previous go to before that, and what is good is that they will substitute brown rice so that's helpful for dietary restrictions. I'm a regular and so occasionally they have surprised me with some small snacks when I get the receipt like a mandarin or a cookie. I liked that :)

“My family and I stumbled upon The Chomp while visiting SE Portland. We intended to eat on the opposite side of the train tracks, but, alas, we got stuck behind the train… However, we’re glad we did or else we wouldn’t have found this amazing restaurant! We were immediately greeted by the owner who served us. We ordered the crispy pork belly w/ rice, cashew nut chicken w/ rice, and mango sticky rice. Absolutely no notes! Everything was authentic, fresh, and cooked so well! It’s easy to overcook pork belly, but this was very tender and juicy with a nice crunch on the outside. The cashew nut chicken was also very flavorful and hearty. For dessert, get the mango sticky rice served with warm pandan rice and crunchy crispies! Each dish was like a hug in a bowl. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also memorable — reminiscent of a retro diner that just so happens to be impeccably clean! The owner was very kind and gracious, which added to the warm and calm atmosphere of the restaurant. My family and I loved everything and can’t wait to be back!“

“My new favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. I got the best restaurant green curry I’ve had in a loooong time. There were chopped lime leaves still in the broth, nice large chunks of chili peppers, and perfectly cooked eggplant. The spice level was up there while having great depth of flavor. This curry made my day, I’m definitely going to come back and try more of their dishes.“

“What Thai restaurant doesn't have ginger? I also asked for an additional tea bag for my pot of tea and she refused unless I wanted to pay extra. FOR A TEA BAG! So I had weak tea and no ginger in my meal. They have fresh ginger next door at Fred Meyer ... I should have went and bought some while waiting for my order. Food was pretty but just okay. Then was charged $4 for the 2 little tiny cups of hot tea I drank.“

“We met friends here for dinner last Saturday and it was just as wonderful as it's been in the past. The food was attractively presented and was delicious, as always. The lady who took our orders was friendly and helpful and remembered that I'd asked for extra lime for my pad thai as well as chopsticks. Hubby had the teriyaki chicken and loved it. “I can’t say enough good things about Bai Mint Thai! The food and service is consistently amazing. They offer free delivery in the neighborhood. I order from them at least 2/3 times a month. The Tom kha soup, Pineapple fried rice, Panaang curry, pad Thai, Larb salad all SO GOOD! I think they chargrill the vegetables or something, every bite is perfect and full of flavor. “This place blew me away. We have amazing Thai food in pdx, and I happen to love northern Thai dishes ie khao soi. This has to be second only to lotus of Siam in Vegas, the queen of American Thai. I had a better experience here though just because I had no idea it eas going to be that good. Always busy but had no complaints on service, every dish delivered, loved ambience, can’t think of any complaints other than I have to drive 4 hours to go back. If you’re in bend and you like Thai food you it’s a no brainer, this place slaps and Deedee as every accolade and good review. Saw someone say cab find Thai like this in New York as if that’s not a compliment. Your in bend honey, look around you m. Not to hate but to nyc is a good Mecca, bends a a long jump off in the back of Oregon. It’s a smaller city out in the back of Oregon. If they have nyc level food that’s not an insult. Still disagree. N Thai food has influences from the neighboring countries and just hits a little different and this guy is a maestro. If you go, try it all, can’t really go wrong. Deserves 10 stars out of 5“

Pad See Ew (4/5): Fresh vegetables, good firmness and tenderness for the noodles. The sauce was well balanced, not too heavy or too light. Portion size was decent for the price. I'd order this again.

Service (3/5): Normal for a food cart. No frills, just order and wait. It came out fast and the person taking orders was polite enough.

Ambiance: Not Rated
Indoor seating with booths, tables, an arcade, and a play area. It's casual and family friendly, good for bringing kids since they have something to do while waiting for the food. Not a fancy date spot but perfectly fine for a quick meal.“
