Shrimp pad Thai: whoever the chef is, he or she loves me. I’m sure of it. Perfectly cooked shrimp and spicy enough to regret my decisions afterward (only temporarily). Was warned by the server to not get the “hot” and, against my perceived better judgement, I acquiesced and got medium... apparently the server loves me also and was looking after my well-being like a mother that tends to her child.
