“I'm kinda bummed about my experience at OCB today. I took my S/O here as it seemed well rated for both their beers and food options. The beer and food were good, but I don't think I'll come back based on the crowd/patrons. When we arrived, the place seemed promising and busy. The covered patio area was pretty, unsurprisingly packed on a Friday, plus didn't notice if they had heaters. (Edit: they do have heaters, but I didn't see them.) It was a little chilly, so we elected to order beers and food and eat inside. Despite sitting next to one another, we couldn't really hear each other talk. This place was loud/echoey with normal patron conversations, with some screaming/playing children inside added on top. When the loud table next to us left, another family showed up with their kids using the seating as a jungle gym, taking chairs from our table, etc. Maybe if you have free range kids, this place is your jam. The Ukrainian Golden Ale was super tasty - loved the hint of savory from the sunflower seeds. The Leather Bound Brown was ok - not my favorite. They did have a huge variety of taps which was promising. Bartenders were also nice, despite being very busy. Also, my Bulgogi from the truck outside was yummy. I would try their beer again sometime, but will probably skip this spot. Edit: The business owner reached out to me with a thoughtful response right after I shared my experience, trying to address my comments and encouraging me to give them another try. “Been coming to super torta for 25 plus years. Every single person I have ever known, from friends to parents to my children have all agreed that super torta is a real treat. The quality and quantity of their food is unlike any other Mexican food joint I have found within 25 miles at least. It's one of those places that if anyone mentions.... "oooh we should get some super torta".... everyone's response is always " oh my gosh, YEEES! THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT!"My personal favorites have changed over time... in no particular order....1. Steak fajita burrito2. Steak fajita tacos3. Al pastor tacos4. Carnitas burrito5. Lengua burritoOh my gosh I just made myself so hungry. “Honestly I don't have much to say about the food other than there seemed to be plenty of variety and options. I would like to review Brittany (Big Mama!) who hosted the axe throwing for our daughter's birthday party. She was very friendly and seemed to make a point of coaching the kids in a way that would make them succeed but also have a great time. She also went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very approachable. An extra table was brought over just for us because our party was fairly large. Can't say enough great things about Brittany, she absolutely went above and beyond to make sure the party went smoothly. Another little shout out to the bartenders. We had multiple drink spills (toddlers) and they rushed over to help us each time and didn't make us feel bad about making messes (even though we did anyway). Thank you for the great time!Parking: The parking lot is pretty terrible.“
“The food here is amazing, fresh and flavorful. They are very proud of their multiple salsas. The staff is wonderful. I had the ceviche, which was obviously fresh and freshly made. The servings are huge and I took at least half of my dish home. My only wish is that they had small plate options. I just don't eat that much and I like something small for lunch. Everything is a large meal with plenty to take home. I would really like to be able to order just a few tacos, a small burrito bowl, or a smaller bowl of ceviche.“
“The food was good. Both my partner and I went on empty stomachs and got the Steak Ranchero burrito. It didn't come with rice and beans on the side as we thought though. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or not. But service was good. Food was amazing, we both had leftovers!“
“Good food. Everything is seasoned right down to the beans. I usually get their tosatas because they are fresh, filling, and cheap. Their verse salsa is also a wonderful addition. I'm not sure how they do it but it's magical how you take bites and everything stays in one spot and the shell does not break under pressure. Solid skills.“
“Food: I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and it came with rice, refried beans and onions. It was pretty amazing. It was fresh to order. The meat was super tender. Service: The workers are friendly and super helpful as this was my first time ordering here. Ambiance: it's a pretty big place so there's lots of room!“
“If the booths could come back, tables aren't as nice, comfortable or private.We listened to Barry Manilows greatest hits the whole time. Hector Levoe or some Aventura Estrella y Yo would make much more of a vibe.That would give it 5 stars. Service was good and food is delicious.“
“Came for some late lunch on what appeared to be a slow Saturday. Greeted and seated fine. The chips and salsa were really good. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but wasn't very attentive to refills when needed and asking if our food was good. The food was good, by the way. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to eat here again. Overall experience was just mediocre.Parking: Parking is full up! We parked several blocks down and walked.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar, but I assume you could bring a child during business hours.Wheelchair accessibility: May be a tight fit, as you enter the establishment there are tables directly to the left and the bar in front, with a "normal" size door entrance.“
“This unassuming shop in a strip mall is quietly serving food that makes it a contender for one of the best Mexican food spots in Oregon City. The Oregon City burrito or the supreme will hit the spot every time. If you have time to sit down, get a full meal with the beans and rice.“
